I just had to wait. 

Yet, even though I was a trained combat fighter, I was afraid to be all by myself in the dark, and cold basement. "Koda," I murmured. "Where are you!" I tapped my shoe and sat down on top of a large card-board box. 

An abrupt knocking threw me out of my train of thought. "Hello?" A voice asked, and I grinned to myself. 

"Oh, my hero!" I crooned. And then, "Open the door, Koda!" 

The door swung open from the other side, and I stumbled out of the basement. "I'm so glad you're here." I said, breathing heavily. "Roxxy took Lucas and they disappeared. Roxxy is an enemy agent from the King Lion."

"Roxxy?" Koda spit out her name. "You mean Andrée," 

I shook my head, annoyed that Koda was delaying our chase. "No! I mean Roxxy! I'll explain once we get in the car." 

"Her name is Andrée." Koda grabbed my elbow, pulling me backwards. "What I'm about to tell you is top-secret info. Do you understand? You cannot tell anyone I told you."

I nodded, gravely. "What is it?"

"There never was a Roxanne. It was always Andrée. Andrée isn't an enemy spy. I swear. She needs her disguise to be very deep. She's been working on this disguise for years. She's a good-guy. She... her assignment from Elena was to find Elena's sister, Lola and find the location of KL's HQ. Lola fell for it. Andrée fit in well, she was what you guys would call a bad a—" 

I huge crash sounded and I clung to Koda. We ducked as bullets flew through the air. "And when Andrée found the location of King Lion's head-quarters, she took me with her."

I gasped, and something clicked inside of me. I stumbled over my words as I breathed, "Roxxy⁠—I meant Andrée is your sister."
