Chapter 7: Cat meets Crow Part 2

Leone Middle School

At the middle school students were seen heading to class as they did Manny was seen a bit bruised up.

Frida: Manny, what happened?!

Manny: I got into a fight with some new supervillain.

Frida looked at Manny worried and then calmed her down.

Manny: Hey, don't worry El Gato helped fight her off.

Frida: El Gato? Why were you with that guy? You know your dad has been trying to catch him right?

Manny: Well actually the reason I fought the villain was that I saw El Gato chasing her.

When Manny said that Frida looked at him in shock.

Frida: Wait, you tried to help fight off this female villain El Gato was fighting only to get your butt kicked?

Manny: When you say it like that yeah it sounds bad.

Frida then was about to ask another question only for Shiro and Zoe riding into school.

Shiro: Leone Middle School. Thank you for riding the Shiro Express.

Shiro then got off the bike and helped Zoe off it which smiled.

Zoe: Thanks Shiro, that was fun.

Shiro: Definitely, we should try that again when we do this next time.

Zoe smiled and nodded and headed into the school.

Frida: I still don't get it. Why would Zoe hang with your cousin? Does he not get it? She is evil!

Manny: Frida-

Frida: I mean, she is a total jerk and has done bad things to me and is a menace!

Manny: Frida-

Frida: And don't get me started with-

Manny: FRIDA!

Frida then stops talking, looking confused until Manny nervously points at Shiro which she turns her head to see Shiro looking annoyed.

Shiro: It's only ten o'clock, and you're already spouting garbage about my friend.

Frida: Your friend bullied me! She has made my life miserable!

Shiro looks at Frida and sees she was serious and decides to listen.

Shiro: Okay, fine tell me what she has done.

Frida looked surprised but nodded and told her side of the story of what Zoe has done to her. After listening to what Zoe was doing, he was both shocked and surprised at how capable Zoe could do a lot of horrible things to a person but continued to listen.

Frida: Zoe has done nothing but made my life miserable. I have been humiliated, beaten, and so many other unspeakable things so tell me do I not have the right to call her a monster?

Shiro looks at Frida and feeling bad as he was always defending Zoe yet not knowing what she has done to Frida.

Shiro: Okay, I have no excuse for defending Zoe for her actions. Her actions were indeed heinous and downright nasty.

Frida: Finally, we agree on something!

Shiro: But you are not so innocent either. You also retaliated by doing the exact same thing. Also, another thing I will add is that I now understand why you didn't invite her. She caused you a lot of pain that has given you a lot of trauma. So I am sorry for not understanding why you don't like Zoe.

When Shiro said that Frida was shocked as he apologize to her even though he did not particularly like her.

Frida: Wow, I didn't think you would apologize to me.

Shiro: Yeah, it is a tough pill to swallow but again I am sorry.

Frida looks at him and gave a smile.

Frida: Your not so bad Shun.

Shiro: Just because I acknowledge I am wrong doesn't mean I like you, Suarez. Anyway, I got to get back to work.

Shiro then looks at his cousin and smiles.

Shiro: See you back at the house cuz.

Manny: Will do.

Shiro then waves goodbye and went back on his bike and rode out of the school.

Frida: Hey, Manny don't forget to come over tonight to set up for the party. It's only three days away!

Manny: Sure I can make it.

Frida smiled at Manny.

Frida: Awesome! See you at 8! And don't forget the piñata!

Manny: See you then.

Both Manny and Frida then head to class, both gleefully excited about the party.

Evening

It was evening and Shiro was seen walking home after finishing his work but as he kept walking he noticed the rooftop where he fought Black Cuervo.

Shiro: It has been a while since I last saw her.

As Shiro kept walking he suddenly stops as he see a dark figure standing on a rooftop and a flash of lightning appears around it.

Shiro: Cuervo?

Shiro looks at the rooftop and decides to investigate. Shiro quickly hid somewhere to transform and turned to El Gato.

Shiro: If that really is her. Then I better be ready.

El Gato climbs up the building and as he made it to the top he notices Black Cuervo, who has a smile on her face who was sitting on the edge of the roof.

Black Cuervo: El Gato we meet again.

El Gato: Well, hello there Black Cuervo. It seems we meet again. I must say, even as your enemy, you still manage to look quite fetching.

Black Cuervo was seen blushing under her mask at the compliment but she remained calm.

Black Cuervo: Nice try hero if you think a bunch of sweet words can make me crack then you have no idea what I am capable of.

El Gato: Oh, Black Cuervo, I wouldn't dare underestimate you. But perhaps you should be careful not to underestimate the power of my charm. Who knows, you might just find yourself surrendering to my wit and charming personality.

Black Cuervo narrowed her eyes at El Gato's smooth words, not one to be easily swayed by flattery. Without a word, she swiftly launched herself into the air and executed a series of impressive aerial flips and spins, showcasing her formidable agility and strength.

The female villain then landed gracefully on another rooftop. She then shot a mischievous grin at El Gato and taunted him.

Black Cuervo: You'll have to be quick on your feet if you want to catch me, Gato!

With that, Black Cuervo took off at a lightning-fast sprint, leaping between buildings and leaping over obstacles with ease. She knew that El Gato would be hot on her trail, but she relished the thrill of the chase, determined to prove that she was every bit his equal in wit and cunning.

As Black Cuervo continued to race across the rooftops of the city, she could hear El Gato's determined footsteps behind her. She grinned to herself, knowing that this was exactly the kind of challenge she craved.

El Gato was seen gaining ground and as he chased her a smile formed under his mask as he was having fun.

Black Cuervo was seen running faster and then launched herself across a wide gap between two buildings. The female supervillain landed smoothly on the other side, crouching low as she continued to run. She could hear El Gato's breaths coming in short gasps now, and she knew that he was close.

El Gato's thoughts: I will say it again she is good. Though I need to end this now.

El Gato created Cheetah leg constructs and rushed toward her. Black Cuervo saw this and continued to run faster and as she got closer she saw another building which had a huge gap making the jump very big. Black Cuervo then used her wings to make the jump towards the other building. As she was about to land on the other side El Gato jumped and used his cheetah legs on her back making them both crash on the rooftop.

El Gato and Black Cuervo both rolled around and the feline superhero pinned her. Both combatants were panting as they ran most of the rooftops in the city.

El Gato: Not bad Cuervo. That was pretty fun.

Black Cuervo: Same here El Gato. So now what? I am at your mercy. I know you have a reputation for beating bad guys so bad they are scared for life.

El Gato was silent and looked at Black Cuervo for a moment before sighing and getting off her, surprising the villainess.

Black Cuervo: You're letting me go?

El Gato: Yeah, the reason you haven't committed any crime today so I got nothing to charge you. Plus, I found chasing you fun.

When El Gato said that Black Cuervo smiled and agreed.

Black Cuervo: Same though, but you letting me go? What's the catch?

El Gato: Oh simple, you owe me a favor that I can call in any time.

When El Gato said that, Black Cuervo just looked at him and smiled at him.

Black Cuervo: Are you sure you're not a villain?

El Gato: Do you want me to take you to jail?

El Gato answered back which made Black Cuervo chuckle. Both then sit down and looked at the city.

Black Cuervo: You're definitely not like those goody-two-shoes heroes.

El Gato: I am my own hero. Though at one point I was like every other hero believing in honor and whatnot but after fighting villains my views changed.

El Gato said, sighing remembering his time in Osaka being a hero that held his father's values.

Black Cuervo: What changed?

El Gato: The Villains I defeated never learned and they became bolder and more dangerous. Then finally, one of the villains I was chasing changed my views of being a hero.

Black Cuervo: Really, what did this villain do?

El Gato became silent for a moment and then spoke.

El Gato: The villain threatened a baby's life. A baby for crying out loud. Someone who hasn't even got their life started yet. Thankfully another hero stepped in and helped me rescue the infant. I defeated the villain but what really shook my core was that the villain threatened to do it again and what's worse he laughed about it. I later ended up sending the villain to the hospital after the beating I gave him. After that, I change my ways of how I handle villains. Though now I am uncertain. I mean I feel like it's an endless cycle of violence and pain.

El Gato then recalls his time back in Osaka after he snapped. El Gato remembered putting fear into his villains as well as making them feel pain. El Gato recalls how manny times he continued said cycle and now was now uncertain if was it really the right way how to handle taking down villains.

El Gato: You know this feels weird.

Black Cuervo: What?

El Gato: The fact I am talking to you about my past. I know things are not black and white but its still weird having a civil conversation with you. Even though you are a villain, you are pretty reasonable compared to villains I fought.

Black Cuervo chuckled at El Gato.

Black Cuervo: Right back at you, Gato. Before we leave, do you want to settle are fight before we part ways?

El Gato looked at Black Cuervo and nodded. Both get-up and then back away, making sure to stare at one another to not let either one of them get an upper hand. Both got into their fighting stances and circled one another, waiting to see who would strike first.

Suddenly, El Gato lunged forward, his claws extended towards Black Cuervo. The crow-themed villain dodged and retaliated with a swift kick to El Gato's midsection. El Gato stumbled backward but quickly regained his balance.

The two continued to exchange blows, with neither gaining the upper hand. El Gato used his speed and agility to dodge Black Cuervo's attacks, while Black Cuervo used her strength and cunning to land powerful strikes.

The two combatants continued to trade blows for what seemed like an eternity, neither one able to gain the upper hand. Their movements were so fluid and their attacks so precise that it was like watching a deadly dance. The sound of Black Cuervo's claws clashing against El Gato's puma claws filled the air as they clashed, each blow sending sparks flying.

The rooftop began to crumble beneath their feet as they continued to fight. The two were so consumed with their battle that they had failed to notice the destruction they were causing. The sound of bricks and metal crashing to the ground filled the air, but still, they fought on.

Black Cuervo prepared to deliver the final blow to end the fight but just as she was about to strike, El Gato launched himself at her, catching her off guard. The two went crashing through the rooftop, falling several stories. Black Cuervo opens her wings and flies herself to safety but as she was about to fly away she sees El Gato plummeting to his doom.

El Gato: Okay, this is going to hurt!

El Gato curled his body to absorb some of the impacts when he hits the ground but as he was about to hit the street Black Cuervo catches him by his arm. El Gato looks at Black Cuervo in shock as she saved him.

Both hero and villain then land in an alleyway Black Cuervo lets go of El Gato and smiles.

Black Cuervo: Looks like I win this don't you think?

El Gato: You saved me? Also, yeah, you won. Looks like we tied.

El Gato then brushes himself up and was about to leave only for Black Cuervo to stop him.

Black Cuervo: Not so fast El Gato. I may have won the fight but I also saved your life so now you owe me one.

When Black Cuervo said that, El Gato sighs as she did win the fight plus she saved his life.

El Gato: Fine but it better be reasonable.

Black Cuervo: Don't worry I don't plan to use it anytime soon.

Black Cuervo said, showing an evil smile. El Gato sighs as he has a feeling she will use that favor soon. El Gato then got ready to leave but once again stopped.

El Gato: Okay why did-

El Gato did not get to finish as he felt smooth and soft lips touch his cheek. El Gato's eyes widened but also what made it more shocking was his face turned beat red.

The feline superhero stared at Black Cuervo who gave him a wink and flew into the air leaving him behind.

El Gato: Okay, did that just happen?!

El Gato was still trying the process that a girl kissed him but more precisely a villainess kissed him.

El Gato: Sometimes I wish I could talk to dad about this.

Saturday

It was Saturday and things were going to be exciting. At the Rivera household, Shiro was seen dressed in new clothes.

Shiro: I hope Zoe likes my new wardrobe for our hangout.

As Shiro checks the mirror, he starts to remember his fight with Black Cuervo. The young lad smiles as he recalls the chase and the epic fight. Shiro continued to smile until he stopped as he remembered the villainess giving him a kiss on the cheek and started blushing like a tomato.

Shiro: I don't get it. Why did she kiss me?

Shiro didn't understand they only met two days ago, yet she kissed him.

Shiro: Maybe I am looking into this too much. I mean, she probably did that to tease me.

Shiro then heads out of his room, and then as he did he sees his cousin.

Manny: Dude, you look cool. Man, are you sure you don't want to go to Frida's party?

Shiro: Manny, I already made plans with Zoe also I may have apologized to Frida but there is still tension.

Manny sighs as that was true they may have set their differences aside but there was still tension.

Manny: I understand, Shiro but I hope you can one day see she isn't so bad.

Shiro: Maybe or maybe not with her and Zoe having a feud is going to be hard.

Shiro then walks past his cousin and walks out the door.

Aves House

After walking through the city Shiro was seen at the front door. Shiro then knocks on the door and waits.

Shiro: Man, I hope Zoe is ready because things are going to be awesome.

????: Awesome how niño?

Shiro then turns his head to see an elderly woman holding a cane.

(A/N: Pretend she has a cane.)

This elderly woman was Grandmammi Aves, Zoe's grandmother. Grandmammi Aves stares at Shiro looking at his green emerald eyes.

Shiro: Hola, my name is Shiro Shun and I am here to pick up Zoe.

Grandmammi Aves: I see do tell me Shiro. What do you intend on doing with my sweet nieta?

Shiro stays calm and smiles at Grandmammi Aves.

Shiro: Oh show her a good time and that she doesn't need to go to some party to have fun.

When Shiro said that Grandmammi Aves looked surprised.

Grandmammi Aves: Wait you are not going to that Frida girl party that excluded my grandbaby?

Shiro: No but my opinions on that I will keep to myself. Anyway, may I see Zoe ma'am.

Shiro said being very polite which Grandmammi Aves looked at him and nods. Shiro then walks into the house and was amazed at the decor.

Shiro: Wow Zoe's Grandma you have a beautiful home.

Grandmammi Aves: Please call me Grandmammi Aves.

Shiro: Okay, Grandmammi Aves.

Grandmammi Aves chuckles and pinches Shiro's cheek which he smiles even though it kinda hurts. While Shiro's cheek was being pinched the young boy sees Carmelita.

Shiro: Carmelita, good to see you.

Carmelita: Shiro, what brings you here?

Grandmammi Aves: Oh he is taking out my granddaughter to have a good time.

When Grandmammi Aves said Carmelita looked at Shiro and noticed him wearing different clothes.

Carmelita: You are dressing differently than usual. Shiro, would you care to explain why that is?

Shiro: Oh well I know that Zoe didn't get invited by Frida girl from my cousin's school so I decided to take her out and show her an awesome time showing that you don't need to go to a party to have fun.

Carmelita smiled but then when he said cousin she was going to ask only to stop not seeing her daughter's new attire.

Everyone in the room stared at Zoe, shocked to see how beautiful she looked. The one trying to process Zoe's new look was Shiro which Carmelita and Grandmammi could tell he was smitten by Zoe. Anyway, as Zoe walked down the stairs she spotted Shiro in his new attire.

Zoe's thoughts: Holy frijoles! Shiro looks so handsome in that outfit.

Zoe stares at him while shocked while Shiro does the same. As the two stairs Carmelita and Grandmammi chuckled and could tell a spark was forming.

Carmelita: My little girl is growing up.

Grandmammi Aves: She is and she is growing into a fine lady.

While the two Aves stare at Zoe and Shiro, the young male teen decided to break the tension.

Shiro: Zoe, you look beautiful.

Zoe: And you look handsome, Shiro.

Both teens blushed and smiled.

Shiro: So you ready for a night of epic proportions?

Zoe: Do I need to ask?

Shiro smiled and put his arm out for her, which she grabbed. Both got ready to leave but were stopped by Carmelita, who was holding a camera.

Carmelita: Hold it you two. Let me just take a picture, and you can leave.

Zoe looked annoyed but Shiro just smiled and did a peace sign and smiled towards the camera. Zoe sighs, looks at the camera, and smiles at her mother. Carmelita then snaps a photo showing Zoe and Shiro smiling.

Carmelita: Okay, you two, be safe and have fun.

Zoe: Yes, mama.

Shiro: I will make sure Zoe is safe as my life depends on it. Now come on, Zoe we got some exploring to do.

Zoe nodded, and both her and Shiro left the house and headed off to have fun. Once gone, Carmelita looks at her mother.

Carmelita: Mama, what do you think of Shiro?

Grandmammi Aves: He seems like a good boy and overall cares for Zoe but for some reason, I feel like he is related to someone we used to know but who?

Carmelita: Are you sure what makes you think that?

Carmelita becomes curious about her mother's words.

Grandmammi Aves: It's his eyes. They are green, like an emerald.

Carmelita: Emerald?

Little Tokyo

Over in Little Tokyo, Shiro, and Zoe were seen enjoying the sights and taking in the cultural atmosphere.

Zoe: Wow, I have never been to the Japanese district in Miracle City.

Shiro: Well, you should visit it. Even though not everything is authentic, it still gives the vibes of my country.

Zoe looks around the city and smiles as it was really beautiful.

Shiro: Yeah, it really is.

Shiro then starts to contemplate a bit as he was going to ask something very sensitive.

Shiro: Zoe, can I ask a question?

Zoe: Sure what you want to talk about?

Shiro sighs and takes a breath before speaking.

Shiro: It's about Frida.

Zoe's demeanor changes and frowns.

Zoe: What about Frida? Did she say something about me?

Shiro: Zoe I want you to be honest did you bully Frida back when you guys were in preschool and did all of those horrible and nasty things she told me?

Zoe looks at Shiro looking away before turning her head away and was about to walk away but Shiro stops her.

Shiro: Zoe, wait please tell me!

Zoe: Why should I?! If I tell you then you just-

Shiro: I am not going to abandon you, Zoe! I made a promise to stick by you. I just want the truth and I don't plan on breaking that promise.

Zoe looks at Shiro before slowly nodding, making Shiro look sad.

Shiro: Why?

Zoe: Revenge.....remember when I said my best friend forgot me? Well, he was your cousin.

Shiro: I kinda figured that out when I saw you with Manny, but that still doesn't make sense. Why did you go after Frida?

Zoe: When Manny left me to be friends with Frida. I swore revenge on her for taking my best friend, and just like Frida said, I did those horrible things but that also lead to her doing the same things I did to her. Both of us continued to try to humiliate the other trying to gain the upper hand which led to the feud we have now.

Zoe said, frowning which Shiro sighed as this was more complicated than he thought.

Shiro: Look Zoe from what I can see you instigate the bullying which then turned into a feud causing both of you to humiliate the other. Both of you are to blame for how this started.

Zoe: She started it!

Shiro: And look where it got you! Zoe, you are in a freaking feud that causes both you and Frida nothing but pain. I have no right to judge but please heed my warning as if you continue this feud it will destroy you.

Shiro said looking very worried for his best friend who looks at him and sighs.

Zoe: Shiro I don't know if it is even possible to end the feud.

Shiro: Then find a way to resolve this without both of you causing more pain for one another. Look I am sorry I sprung this on you but I just wanted to hear both sides of the story to see a clear picture and right now it is far more complicated than I could ever imagine. So why not just think about this another time and enjoy the city?

Shiro said with a smile on his face which Zoe looks at him and her heart beats as she felt his warmness.

Zoe: I can do that.

Shiro: Great, because I know a good place to get some food.

Shiro and Zoe start wandering through the vibrant streets of Little Tokyo at night, hand in hand. The colorful lanterns that lined the narrow alleyways bathed them in a soft glow as they made their way to their destination.

They arrived at a small, cozy restaurant tucked away in a corner of the district. Inside, the walls were adorned with traditional Japanese art and the air was filled with the aroma of freshly cooked food. They were seated at a private table with a low, cushioned seat and a small table in the center.

Shiro: You ready to eat?

Zoe: I am.

Shiro smiled and ordered a few dishes that he knew Zoe would love, including sushi and tempura.

Shiro: Okay, Zoe, prepare to have your taste buds explode with flavor.

Zoe: I will take your word for it.

The food then comes and both Zoe and Shiro see the amazing food set before them.

Zoe: Wow, this looks amazing. Are you sure you can afford this?

Shiro: Don't worry about it. I have been working really hard at my part-time job that I am okay to splurge. So don't be shy and just eat.

Both teens started to eat their meals and talked about their dreams and aspirations, occasionally stealing shy glances at each other.

After dinner, they strolled through the streets, admiring the beauty of the city at night. As they kept walking they pass by a group of street performers, Zoe and Shiro stopped to watch in awe. The performers were juggling fire, performing acrobatics, and playing traditional Japanese instruments, and the crowd around them was cheering and clapping.

Shiro: Wow everyone is really getting into it. Why not join in on the fun?

Zoe: You can dance?

Shiro: My mother taught me as well as my father. Now may I have this dance?

(A/N: Look up Zatoichi [2003] (OST) - Festivo /11 for the music.)

Zoe looked at Shiro skeptically, unsure if he was telling the truth about his dancing abilities. But as soon as the music began playing, Shiro's feet moved effortlessly to the rhythm, tapping and shuffling gracefully and precisely.

Zoe couldn't help but be impressed as Shiro twirled her around, their feet moving in perfect unison. The sound of their tap shoes echoed through the streets of Little Tokyo, drawing a crowd of people who couldn't resist joining in on the fun.

Shiro and Zoe continued tap dancing to the upbeat Japanese-style music, their infectious energy spread to the crowd, who started tapping their feet and clapping along with the rhythm.

Zoe's heart raced with excitement as she looked around and saw people of all ages, from young children to elderly folks, joining in on the dance. The crowd's energy was electric, and Zoe couldn't help but feel grateful to be a part of it all.

The crowd around them began to cheer and clap as more and more people joined in, tapping their feet and swaying to the music. The city of Little Tokyo had come alive, and the sound of tap dancing echoed through the streets.

Zoe and Shiro danced on, lost in the moment, their feet moving faster and faster. The crowd around them grew larger until it seemed like everyone in the city was dancing along. It was an epic sight, a celebration of life and music, and Zoe knew that she would never forget this moment for as long as she lived.

Zoe: This is so much fun.

Shiro: I told you I can show you a good time. Am I right?

Zoe smiled and nodded and both continue to dance while more people joined in on the fun but unknown to them their dancing started to attract more people as well as being recorded.

Suárez's Residence

At the Suárez residence students from Leone Middle School were seen partying and having a good time.

Now at the party, Manny was seen drinking some punch and looking at the other partygoers. As he drinks he feels a tap on his shoulder to see Frida.

Frida: Hey, you okay Manny? You look sad.

Manny: Oh it just I wish Shiro came. I mean I wanted him to see what partying in Miracle city is like.

Frida: Look Shiro had plans with Aves so what can you do? At least you can say me and him are on somewhat good terms but come on have some fun as this party is rocking!

Frida said as people cheer party while loud music is being heard and fireworks are going off.

Manny: True, now let's party!

Frida: Yeah because me and my band are going to-

Before Frida could say anything some random partygoer yells at the others.

Partygoer 1: Oi, everyone there's a killer fiesta going on in Little Tokyo and it's on the web look!

One of the partygoers pulls out a laptop and everyone looks to see a live feed of people of Little Tokyo dancing the night away. Frida then gets upset and checks the laptop and once she looks at she gets super angry.

Frida: Manny, you gotta see this!

Manny walks over to Frida and looks at the laptop and to his shock he sees his cousin Shiro with some cute girl.

Manny: Woah, he wasn't kidding about knowing how to party. Also, check it out. He is dancing with a cute girl.

Zoe: That girl is Zoe Aves, Manny!

Manny: What?!

Manny then takes a closer look and is shocked. Dancing with his cousin was Zoe but what shook the young lad was that Zoe was not wearing her usual attire.

Manny: Wow, I never thought Zoe could look that cute.

Frida: What was that?

Frida looks at him in anger and he puts his hands up.

Manny: I mean it's strange that the two are getting more attention than you.

Frida then calmed down and looks at the laptop as more people continued to go to Little Tokyo. While she looked, she suddenly saw some of her party guests leaving to go to the party where Shiro and Zoe were.

Frida: Wait, where are you guys going?

Partygoer 2: That killer party in Little Tokyo looks sick! I want to join in on the fun!

More and more people started to leave, causing Frida to get angry.

Frida: This can't be happening. I have the coolest party in all of Miracle City, and Zoe Aves is stealing that away from me!

Manny: Frida, calm down! I am still here.

Frida then looks at Manny and tries to calm down until she hears something from the live stream on the laptop.

Zoe: This is so much fun.

Shiro: I told you I can show you a good time. Am I right?

Frida looks at the laptop and sees Zoe smiling causing her to get angry and starts imagining Zoe.

Friday's imagination of Zoe: Ha, I didn't need to go to your stupid party to know that it would stink.

Frida: My party does not stink!

Frida gets super mad and then explodes with anger as fire surrounds her.

Frida: How dare she think she can upstage me! I will show her!

Frida then runs out of her house and heads to Little Tokyo, followed by Manny, looking worried as if Frida was going to do something stupid.

Manny: Oh, this is not good...

Back at Little Tokyo

In Little Tokyo, Shiro and Zoe's antics have caught people from around the city to join in on the fun and right now, the streets were packed as people danced and had fun.

Shiro: Wow, a lot of people came to Little Tokyo.

Zoe: No kidding and wait aren't some of these people invited to Suárez's party?

Shiro looks at the people having fun in Little Tokyo and was shocked as they were.

Shiro: Oh boy, I have a bad feeling something is going to happen.

Zoe: What makes you say that?

Shiro: If these people are not at that blue witch's party, then that would mean she-

Frida: AVES!!!

Everyone stops in their tracks and turns to see an angry Frida Suárez followed by a worried Manny.

Shiro's thoughts: This is not good....

Shiro then looks at Zoe who glares at Frida which she did the same.

Zoe: What the heck do you want, Frida? Shouldn't you be at your party or something?

Frida: I was...UNTIL YOU STOLE IT!!!

When Frida said that, causing Zoe to look confused.

Shiro: What the heck are you talking about? Zoe has done nothing, all she was doing was having fun with me in this city.

Frida: Well your fun caused my party guests to come here! My party is completely empty!

When Frida said that both Shiro and Zoe once again looked shocked.

Shiro: Look Frida we did not intentionally try to steal your guest they just came to us.

Frida: Lies it has to be Zoe who caused them to leave! I bet she planned it so that she could upstage me!

Manny: Frida calm down this isn't-

Zoe: Oh please, it doesn't take much to upstage you.

Zoe said, looking angry which Shiro looks at her worried while Frida became even angrier causing Manny to also look worried. Both girls get in each other faces looking mad.

Manny tried to intervene, but it was too late. The tension between Zoe and Frida had reached its boiling point. Frida's eyes blazed with anger as she glared at Zoe.

Frida: You're just a wannabe goth, Zoe. Trying so hard to be edgy and dark but you're nothing but a poser. At least I'm true to myself and my style.

Frida spat out, her blue hair adding to her fiery demeanor. Zoe rolled her eyes, her black lipstick smearing as she did so.

Zoe: Oh, please. Your punk rock look went out of style ages ago. And those ridiculous goggles on your head just make you look like a wannabe steampunk reject.

Frida's hands clenched into fists at her sides.

Frida: At least I don't dress like I'm in mourning all the time. What's the matter, Zoe? Did your bird die or something?

Zoe's eyes flashed with fury.

Zoe: Shut up, Frida. At least I'm not trying to compensate for something by dressing like a reject from a bad '80s movie.

Manny tried to step in again, but the two girls were too focused on each other to listen. The insults and jabs flew back and forth, each trying to outdo the other with their insults.

The air was thick with tension and anger, and Shiro looked on anxiously, thinking of some way to diffuse the situation before things got even uglier. Shiro turns to his cousin for help.

Shiro: Manny, we need to do something before things get ugly.

Manny: How it's only a matter of time before-

Before Manny could even finish, a slap was heard and both he and Shiro saw Frida slap Zoe across the face.

Shiro quickly stepped in between Frida and Zoe, trying to calm them down.

Shiro: Hey, hey, enough let's all take a step back and breathe. Before things get out of hand!

Shiro said, trying to diffuse the situation but sadly Frida was already seething with anger.

Shiro: Don't you dare defend her, Shiro! She stole my guests, and spotlight!

She yelled, pointing an accusing finger at Zoe. Zoe, on the other hand, was equally furious.

Zoe: I didn't steal anyone, Frida. They came to Little Tokyo on their own!

The argument continued to escalate, with insults being thrown back and forth. Before anyone could do anything to stop it, Frida lunged at Zoe, trying to punch her in the face. Zoe dodged the attack, but the two ended up grappling with each other in the middle of the street.

Manny tried to separate them, but he was quickly pushed aside. The crowd that had gathered around them began to shout and cheer, urging them on. Some even pulled out their phones to record the fight. As the two girls continued to exchange blows, the situation became increasingly chaotic. Tables and chairs were knocked over, and people were pushed aside in the scuffle.

Both Shiro and Manny pulled the two girls apart trying to stop their fighting.

Frida: Manny, let me go I am not done with her!

Zoe: Shiro let go and let me kick that punk rock reject butt!

Both girls continued to struggle as they tried to go after one another as their friends tried to stop them.

Manny: Frida, stop! This isn't you!

Shiro: Zoe, please remember all this fighting will destroy you!

Zoe: The only person I want to destroy is her!

Frida: That we can agree!

As things started to escalate, the sounds of police sirens could be heard.

Partygoers: ¡Corre que es la policía! (Run it's the police!)

People around the street start to scatter and Shiro and Manny look at one another.

Shiro: Manny get Frida out of here. I will get Zoe!

Manny: Way ahead of you!

Manny spins his belt buckle and turns into El Tigre, and quickly gets Frida out of Little Tokyo.

Zoe: I am not done with you, Suarez!

Shiro: Zoe, we must get out of here before the cops come. And the last thing I need if for you to get arrested!

Shiro said, looking at Zoe, who frowned but nodded. Both Shiro and Zoe sprinted out of the city, adrenaline pumping through their veins, they could hear the sound of the cop car approaching behind them. The sirens blared, warning everyone in the vicinity of their presence. Shiro looked back and saw the car gaining on them, its lights flashing.

Shiro: We have to keep running!

He yelled at Zoe while continuing to run.

Shiro: Don't stop for anything!

Zoe nodded, her heart pounding in her chest as they made their way down the streets, weaving through the crowds of people who were milling about. They were fast, but the cop car was faster. Soon, it was right on their tail, its bumper almost touching their heels. Shiro could see that they had no chance of outrunning the car.

Shiro: I'll distract them!

He said, before letting go of Zoe's hand.

Shiro: You keep running, and don't stop until you get to your house.

Zoe looked at him, fear and horror in her eyes.

Zoe: No, Shiro, I can't leave you here alone!

Shiro: You have to. It's the only way. Now Go!

Zoe quickly dashed away while Shiro stopped and turned around, and faced the cop car. He put his hands up, surrendering to the officers inside. They quickly jumped out of the car and surrounded him. Their guns pointed at him. Zoe watched in horror from a distance as her best friend was taken away, who gave himself up to allow her to escape.

Zoe: What have I done....

It seems the night of fun and partying turned to disaster. Pent-up emotions of long growing feud and now due to the fighting Shiro finds himself in jail.
