Rivera household
It was a beautiful morning in the Rivera household. Shiro came out of his room and headed to the dining area. Once there, Shiro sees his uncle and grandfather having breakfast.

Shiro: Hey, Tio Rodolfo, hey, Grandpapi.

Rodolfo: Morning, Shiro.

Grandpapi: Buenos días, sobrino.

Shiro then grabs a seat, takes a plate of food, and starts eating.

Rodolfo: So Shiro, how is everything with your job?

Shiro: Good, I am actually doing quite well for myself. Senior Carlos said if I kept doing well, he would give me a raise.

Rodolfo smiled as his nephew was working hard.

Shiro: So where is Manny?

Rodolfo: Oh, he is at school.

Shiro: Well then, after I am done with work, I go visit. Do you know the name of the school?

Rodolfo nodded and gave the name of the school.

Rodolfo: Leone Middle School is the name. Also, tell Manny I said hi.

Shiro: Will do Tio Rodolfo.

Shiro grabs some food and starts eating before heading out to see his cousin.

Leone Middle School
In Miracle City, a bunch of students was seen heading into a middle called Leone Middle School.

Now inside students were seen holding invitations saying Frida's Birthday Party Spectacular. The invitation also says that it will be happening this Saturday night.

Frida: Chicos y chicas! Get your invites to the most awesome event in human history: my birthday party! With special musical guest Me, Frida Suàrez! And my band, The Atomic Sombreros!

Frida then points to her bands who play their instruments getting the students super excited. Frida then continued to pass out invites.

Frida: Here you go. Plenty for everyone. Love the mohawk, Lupita. Keep it movin'.

The crowd leaves, and Frida is revealed to have been standing on Manny.

Frida: Thanks, Manny.

Manny's hair puffs out. He smooths it out.

Manny: Anything for my best pal.

Frida: So, you ready for the coolest, most exclusive party in town?

Manny: Exclusive? You invited everyone. Even Humperto.

Signals to a fat, smelly kid holding an invite. A goat nearby sniffs him and faints.

Frida: No. I didn't invite...Zoe Aves.

Frida signaling Zoe Aves who was seen ignoring her. Which surprised Manny.

Manny: What? You still mad at her? Also, is it me or she ignoring you.

Frida: Probably, to get under my skin.

Frida said which she glared at Zoe who continued to ignore her.

Frida: AND IT'S WORKING! She thinks she can get away for the pain she cause me!

Manny: Oh come it can't be that bad.

Frida: Hello! Remember the "fingerpaint" thing?

Manny thinks back. A flashback to kindergarten is shown where Frida is carrying paint happily. Zoe, standing nearby, purposely trips up, causing her to fly across the room screaming. Two of the paint cans tip her goggles, while one covers her entirely in green paint. She start crying. She scare all the others away.

Frida: And the "kick-me" thing?

Another kiddy flashback appears. Frida walks past Zoe, dodging her. Zoe then slaps something on her back. As Frida goes to the Karate room, it's revealed to be a piece of paper that says "Kick Me". When she steps inside, a riot is heard. Cut to a grown up Frida, who looks behind and taps on her locker. A bear pops out and chews on her hair like a toy.

Frida: And the "savage bear attack" thing?!

The flashback shows Zoe, who is smiling deviously and leaning near a bear cage from the zoo while Frida is being attacked. She chuckles.

Manny: Ah, you gotta let that stuff go, Frida.

Frida stops wincing after remembering those attacks from Zoe.

Frida: Also, she once told everyone at school you had a perm.

Manny then gasps in shock hearing that.

Manny: SHE MUST PAY!

A background of fire is briefly shown while Manny looked enraged.

Frida: Forget about Zoe. We've got party prep to do.

Manny: I'm on it. Oh! But first...

He walks up to Frida.

Manny: I wanna give you a present a little earlier.

He takes something out of his pocket. Frida takes it.

Frida: You made me a Frida belt buckle just like yours!

She places it on her belt and spins it. Nothing happens.

Frida: Awesome! Wait, you're still gonna make my birthday piñata, aren't you?

Manny: Of course. And this year, it's gonna be bigger and better than ever.

Frida: Manny, you're the bestest best friend en todo el mundo. I'd hug you if it didn't totally gross me out.

Manny: Taking that as a compliment. Well, I gotta start on that piñata.

Manny and Frida were about to leave until they saw Shiro.

Manny: Hey it's Shiro.

Frida: Why is he here and-WHY IS HE TALKING TO ZOE AVES?!

Both Manny and Frida walk over to them, wondering why they are talking.

Shiro: Zoe, I didn't know you went to this school.

Zoe: Shiro, why are you here?

Shiro: Well I was going to see my cousin but seeing you here is definitely a good way to start the day.

Zoe then giggled and played with her hair with her finger but then stopped as Shiro said, Cousin.

Zoe: Wait, your cousin goes here? 

Shiro: Yeah, you might know him-Manny, blue hair witch what are you two doing?

Shiro looks confused and Zoe slowly turns her head to see Manny and Frida.

Manny: Shiro, what are you doing with Zoe Aves?

Frida: Don't you know she is bad news!

When Frida said that, Zoe became angry and was about to say something until Shiro intervened.

Shiro: Oh, you're one to talk?! Do I need to remind you about the horrible things you did to my family and me?!

Shiro said, looking furious while Zoe looked confused, while Frida winced in fear.

Zoe: Wait, what did she do?

Shiro: Oh you know sending my own cousin to waste me and then convince my cousin to use my uncle's boots that give him his powers wrecking them! Then tried to fix them with plutonium which messed with his powers! So you say Zoe is bad news when you do a lot worse?!

Frida: You're protecting that bully?! She has been picking on me since I was in preschool!

When Frida said that, Shiro's eyes widened, and recalled Zoe's words the day he came to Miracle City.

Zoe's words: Because someone stole him away from me. She took my best friend, and he forgot about me!

Shiro then realized that Manny used to be her friend, but also Frida was the one responsible for it.

Shiro: Okay, yes, what she did was wrong.

Frida: Wrong, she got a bear to maul me!

When Frida said that Shiro looks at Zoe for a bit which made her tense up.

Shiro: Damn, Zoe remind me not to get on your bad side.

Zoe: Oh, don't worry, Shiro I would never do something like that to you.

Shiro sighs with relief which makes Frida mad.

Frida: Hello, she had a bear maul me!

Shiro: And you nearly got me and my uncle wasted so you have no leg to stand on.

Frida: I am standing, you jerk!

Shiro and Zoe look at one another.

Shiro: Is she that dumb?

Zoe: Sadly, she is.

Shiro then chuckled which made Zoe chuckle as well making Frida angry.

Frida: Forget this! I hope you feel bad not being invited to my awesome birthday party.

Manny: Frida, he is-

Shiro: Like I go to a lame party your hosting.

When Shiro said that, Frida gasped, including Manny and Zoe.

Frida: Lame! I have you know my parties are awesome! Everyone is going!

Shiro: Except for Zoe and me, so I say it's not an awesome party.

This causes Frida to get mad while Zoe chuckles.

Shiro: Anyway, you can keep your invention I don't plan on going if Zoe isn't going, and besides. I am from Osaka, the party capital of Japan. So I know how to spend my time and have fun.

Shiro then turns to Zoe and smiles.

Shiro: Hey, Zoe, you want to hang out with me this Saturday?

Zoe: Sure, I would like that.

Shiro smiled and turned to Frida.

Shiro: Looks like we have plans this Saturday, so see you later, Rita.

Frida: It's Frida!

Shiro just ignores her while waving goodbye to Zoe, who waves back and then heads to class while he leaves the school. Manny and Frida were now alone, and Frida was looking angry.

Frida: Manny, your cousin is a jerk!

Manny: I mean, you can't really blame him after what happened...

Frida just glared at Manny, who swore a bit.

Manny: I am going to finish your piñata.

Frida: You do that.

Manny then leaves while Frida huffs and heads to class.

Night Time
It was nighttime, and Shiro was seen on his bike finishing his deliveries.

Shiro: Sweet, I am done with all my deliveries. Señor Carlos, is going to be happy. If I keep this up, I might get another raise.

As Shiro kept peddling but notices red and blue lights coming his way. Someone's feet are running with the police on their tail.

Shiro: What the heck?

Shiro then was confused and quickly peddled to the scene and saw a girl in black and purple armor holding a laser cannon.

Shiro: Who is she?

Shiro looked at the armored girl with curiosity. The armored girl then fires a laser sending it flying. Shiro then looks at the flying police vehicle and then notices it was about to land on an old lady pushing a baby carriage while dragging a box of kittens.

Shiro: Oh no!

Shiro quickly steps into action and takes out his pocket watch before going into an alley and turning to El Gato, and then creating cheetah legs and panther claws constructs quickly running out of the alley. El Gato then catches the police car and then gently places it on the ground away from the old lady, baby, and kittens.

Police and Old Lady: Thank You, El Gato.

El Gato: No problema officers. I will handle this.

El Gato then sees the armored girl who was seen heading down an alleyway and then corners her.

El Gato: Okay, Villain, I want to point out that my fists are unisex, so if you surrender I won't have to kick your butt.

El Gato cracked his knuckle, hoping she fights back.

The armored girl smiles and raises her arms which surprises El Gato until wings appear, and she takes off into the sky.

El Gato: Oh no, you don't!

El Gato uses his cheetah legs to bounce off the walls and then grabs her by the foot but gets dragged along. The two crash through a billboard advertising Frida's birthday party and land on the rooftop.

El Gato: Owww, okay that hurt.

El Gato cracks his neck and looks at the armored girl.

El Gato: Okay, are you done running, or are you-

El Gato quickly dodged a laser blast from the armored girl and then pounced on her. The armored girl readied her laser cannon, only for the cat hero to knock it away and then deliver a powerful front kick to the armored girl's chest, which sent her into a chimney destroying it. The armored girl then gets back up, looking angry, while the cat hero just smiles behind his mask.

El Gato: I will give it to you. You're one tough Chica and a cute one at that. So care to tell me your name?

Black Cuervo: I am known as Black Cuervo, but you may call me "Oof".

El Gato: Oof, why is your name that?

El Garp got his answer as Black Cuervo uppercut him to his chin, sending him to another rooftop. El Gato then gets back up, holding his chin.

El Gato: Okay, I walked into that one. Okay, Black Cuervo, if you want a fight I will give you one!

El Gato then pops his claws and Black Cuervo does the same. Both charged at each other and then swiped their claws. Sparks were seen as both El Gato and Black Cuervo tried to claw one another. El Gato twists his body and motions his leg towards Black Cuervo, causing the crow villain to be swiped, but as she is about to fall, she uses her wings to lift her up and raises her leg, and does an axe kick at El Gato's head. The cat superhero blocks the attack but kneels, causing the rooftop to crack.

As El Gato kneels down, Black Cuervo sees an opportunity to strike. She rushes towards him, attempting to deliver a powerful punch. However, El Gato quickly recovers and rolls out of the way, causing Black Cuervo to miss her target and hit the ground hard.

Seeing that Black Cuervo is momentarily disoriented, El Gato takes advantage of the situation and lunges toward her. He attempts to grab her with his puma claws, but Black Cuervo quickly reacts.

She jumps back and uses her wings to create a gust of wind that sends El Gato flying backward. As El Gato crashes into a nearby wall, Black Cuervo uses this time to catch her breath and plan her next move. She knows that El Gato is a formidable opponent, and she needs to be careful.

Suddenly, El Gato jumps back into action, charging toward Black Cuervo. She braces herself for impact, but instead of attacking her head-on, El Gato slides under her legs and trips her up. Black Cuervo falls to the ground, but before El Gato can make his move, she kicks up a cloud of dust and disappears from sight.

El Gato looks around, trying to locate his opponent, but she seems to have vanished. Suddenly, he hears a loud screeching sound, and before he can react, Black Cuervo swoops down from above and rakes her claws across his back.

El Gato winces in pain, but he refuses to give up. He turns around and charges towards Black Cuervo, who is hovering in mid-air. They clash once again, trading blows as they both try to gain the upper hand. The fight rages on for what seems like an eternity, with both El Gato and Black Cuervo refusing to back down.

El Gato: If you think I will give up then think again!

Black Cuervo: Let's see what you got, hero!

Both separate from one another and got ready to attack only for El Tigre to show up.

El Gato: El Tigre what are you doing here?

El Tigre: I saw you chasing after this villain and came to help. Besides, this will be easy two guys vs one girl. Our odds look great.

When El Tigre said that, El Gato looked at Black Cuervo, who gave a sinister smirk.

Black Cuervo: Think you can handle me, El Tigre, then show me what you got.

El Tigre smiled, popped his claws, and fired his hook claw at her, but as it got closer, she sides stepped, grabbed the chain, and then flew into the air.

El Tigre: Uh oh....

El Tigre is then pulled into the air, and Black then swings the chain sending him into a chimney. The tiger hero spits out bricks, but the raven villain was not done as she swings the chain making El Tigre spin in the air.

El Tigre: I am going to hurl!

El Tigre said as he was spinning really fast in the air. Black Cuervo then releases the chain causing El Tigre to crash down through the rooftop.

El Gato: Oi! El Tigre, are you okay?

El Tigre then crawls back up from the hole and spits out a tooth.

El Tigre: Never better. Okay, Black Cuervo, you may have gotten the best of me, but I will not go down so easily. Now be prepared for a special move that has taken me years to master!

When El Tigre said that, El Gato looked confused.

El Gato: El Tigre, what are-

El Gato then gets cut off as El Tigre runs up a wall and ricochets into the sky. He spins his body like a fan and launches down with his foot.

El Tigre: Behold, The Spinning Armadillo!

He gets snagged by the clothesline and hardly tries to grab Black Cuervo. He crosses his arms and appears hanging upside down on his own tail.

El Gato: El Tigre, if that was the special move, then that was horrible. Allow me to fix your mistake.

El Gato runs up a broken door and ricochets himself into the air, and then starts spinning. He then erupts with black flames around him and spins down forward rapidly. El Gato then does a few poses, ending with a foot aiming toward Black Cuervo.

She awes at the sight before being kicked in the face causing her to be sent flying towards a wall slamming into it. Black Cuervo then falls to the ground while bricks fall onto her.

El Gato: Okay, that takes care of her.

El Gato was about to leave, only for El Tigre to stand in front of him, staring in awe.

El Tigre: You gotta teach me how to do that!

El Gato: Sorry, I have no time for teaching. I need to take her in.

El Gato then walks over to Black Cuervo, ready to take her in, but El Tigre gets in front of him.

El Tigre: Please, I know we had our differences, but you helping me perfect the Spinning Armadillo will help a lot!

El Gato: Again, I am busy. Besides, I doubt you want to hang with me with my reputation. After all, people know me as the hero who acts like a villain.

When El Gato said that, El Tigre then stares at the cat hero with seriousness in his eyes before begging on his knees.

El Tigre: PLEASE, please, please, please! I will do anything, El Gato!

El Gato was staring at his cousin at the pathetic display he was making.

El Gato: For crying out loud! Pull yourself together, El Tigre!

El Tigre then stops begging, and El Gato sighs.

El Gato: So you want me to help you perfect the Spinning Armadillo?

El Tigre: Please, El Gato, I need to master it!

El Gato sighs before looking at El Tigre.

El Gato: Fine, but you owe me a favor, and when we train, you follow my orders to the letter, you understand?

El Tigre saluted El Gato, and he rolled his eyes.

El Gato: Good, now let me take her-

El Gato then hears rockets, and both he and El Tigre see Black Cuervo rocketing out of the bricks and into the air.

Black Cuervo: Sorry, to leave, boys, but I had my fun today.

El Gato: Oh, you can't continue how unfortunate, and I was having a nice time spending with you.

Black Cuervo smiles and winks at El Gato.

Black Cuervo: Maybe next time El Gato. Adios, handsome.

Black Cuervo then leaves the area while El Gato is just grinning as the crow supervillain just challenged him.

El Gato: Oh its on Black Cuervo.

El Tigre: So, about that training?

El Gato: Right, well when are you available is the answer? I know you got a party going on with that blue hair girl.

When El Gato said that, El Tigre looked shocked.

El Tigre: How do you know that?

El Gato then points to the destroyed billboard for Frida's party.

El Tigre: Okay, how about next week?

El Gato: That can work. Meet me here back on the rooftop, and we can train. Now I need to go. I am done with my patrol.

El Gato then leaves the roof while El Tigre smiles as he was going to be trained to master the spinning armadillo.

The Next Day
It was the next day, and Shiro was seen making his usual rounds, and as he did, he saw Zoe walking.

Shiro: Hey, Zoe what's-Dios mio!

Shiro then sees that Zoe looked a bit beat up.

Zoe: Oh I just uh, wasn't paying attention that's all.

Shiro wasn't buying it and started checking for injuries on Zoe which made her blush.

Zoe: Shiro, I'm okay. You don't need to worry.

Shiro: Zoe, your my friend and I have a right to worry.

Shiro then continued to check Zoe and stops.

Shiro: So far, you are okay but still, whatever you were doing yesterday, be careful. I don't know what would of happen if something had happened to you.

Zoe then blushes more, making her face bright red.

Zoe: Shiro, you really are a great friend.

Shiro: I feel the same, Zoe. Now I hope you are ready for Saturday because we are going to have the best time of our lives!

Shiro said, showing the biggest smile on his face which Zoe nodded.

Zoe: I can't wait. Also, I forgot to ask how is Manny your cousin.

Shiro: Oh my mother and his uncle are cousins. Look, I want to say sorry about my cousin forgetting you. Though which sucks because you would have been a better friend then blue hair witch.

Zoe then smiles more but then remembers she needs to get to school.

Zoe: Anyway, I need to head to school.

Shiro: Then allow me to help. My next stop is near the school, so hop on.

Zoe smiles and nods before sitting behind Shiro and hugging him.

Shiro: Hang on.

Shiro then starts peddling his bike and starts moving very quickly. As Shiro kept peddling, Zoe smiled as she enjoyed spending time with him.

Zoe's thoughts: Shiro has been so kind to me. Watching my back and even caring for me, but he is related to Manny Rivera...

Zoe sighs as the Riveras and Aves have a bad history as their men have caused nothing but heartbreak to the women.

Zoe's thoughts: I know Mama warned me never to fall in love with a Rivera, but Shiro's last name is Shun, so I am not technically breaking the rules.

Shiro: Hey, Zoe hang on! I am taking a shortcut!

Zoe then sees Shiro riding down a hill and she tightly hugs his back. As Shiro rides down the hill he sees a construction sight. Shiro then sees a big pile of dirt and got an idea.

Shiro: Zoe do you trust me?

Zoe: Why are you asking?

Shiro: Well I'm about to use the big pile of dirt to jump to the other side of the construction.

Zoe's eyes widened and she sees Shiro heading towards the big pile of dirt.

Zoe: Shiro, are sure you can pull it off?

Shiro: I don't know do you trust me?

Zoe then looks at Shiro who gives a reassuring smile and nods. Shiro nods back and starts to pedal faster. Zoe and Shiro were seen getting closer to the dirt and as the get closer both Shiro and Zoe hanged for dear life as they launched up into the air.

Shiro: Banzai!!!

As Shiro and Zoe soared through the air, Zoe couldn't help but let out a scream of excitement mixed with fear. The wind rushed through her hair as she held on tightly to Shiro's back, feeling the adrenaline pumping through her veins. They landed on the other side of the construction site with a thud, sending dirt and rocks flying everywhere. Zoe couldn't believe what had just happened, but she couldn't deny that it was one of the most exhilarating experiences she had ever had. Shiro turned around to face her, his eyes shining with excitement.

Shiro: That was amazing!

The fourteen-year-old exclaimed as he couldn't believe it had worked. Zoe couldn't help but grin from ear to ear.

Zoe: You're insane!

She laughed, and Shiro chuckled.

Shiro: Yeah, maybe a little. But sometimes, you have to take risks and live life to the fullest.

Zoe nodded in agreement, feeling a newfound sense of adventure and excitement coursing through her veins. She knew that her life would never be the same again now that she had met someone as daring and fun-loving as Shiro.

As they rode the rest of the way to school, Zoe felt a sense of anticipation building within her. She couldn't wait to see what other adventures Shiro had in store for her, and she knew that together, they could conquer anything.

A new supervillain has just arrived in Miracle City, and her name is Black Cuervo. El Gato will now be on alert as he just gained another nemesis. Besides that, Zoe and Shiro are growing closer, and will the bond become deeper and maybe more? Well, to find out, read the next chapter of El Tigre - Family from the rising sun.
