romantic reservations
She looked around, with an intimidating aura around her. Standing at 5'9 lean with a toned body that had defined muscles. She took pride in taking care of her body. It was after all Sorona Cartel pride to be fully prepared and well trained in all aspects, not just carrying around guns. It proved to be useless in some situations. Being a woman, she had to work twice as hard to be taken seriously. Studying law for to better add value to Sorona Cartel was a blessing as they always needed one of their own in every venture. She also assumed with education she would be better suited next to Alfredo as his lady of the sorona cartel who better than her who knew all the in's and out's.. The streets downstairs seemed up to one's ear, bustling with day to day lives of everyone trying to archive their daily goal and chase the American Dream; whatever it may have been. Disorderly boisterous enough to be heard from her top floor. She assumed she had been too high up for such a ruckus. This only proved back in Mexico, the Molinero mansion was hidden away from the village, city, town and world. Caught in between the many trees that could confuse one as if it was a huge maze. It was quiet, with gun shots here and there. The seclusion and loneliness that surrounded that place could certainly have one going mad, absolutely mental. She always wondered how Alfredo had grown up there all alone with no siblings to run around with. Homeschooled for the longest time, sheltered away from the world and the normal ways of life, surrounded by men and women who had blood on their hands, surrounded by bloody walls that had seen death, horror and torture of many even before their fore fathers time. Haunted concrete walls with hidden secrets that would have one unsound of mind if they ever witnessed it. Alfredo had grown up alone, he was not allowed to have friends, neither acquaintances. Everything he needed was delivered within the perimeters of the Molinero estate. Besides a couple of years spent at a very austere no-nonsense Private oppressive boarding school in Argentina. Only Royalty and politicians children could afford to attend such. Besides school they were taught authoritarian manners and the upper class mediocre ways of acting in public, media and so on. The closest... he'd ever been to intimacy with another person was on his eighteenth birthday. Until he went on to study at a well renowned business school. Lola was fascinated by Alfredo, he was hard to read. Never said much if he pestered for a conversation he clearly liked you. He loved being alone, perhaps having been used to it all, the solitude.
The yellow cabs all around reminded her of the movies, wasn't that always the New York highlight..? Her hair tied in a pony tail as always, brown with blonde highlights. There was never time to dress up in a dress do your make up and play princess. She never had time for that, she had duties bigger than her appearance. Her ability to fit in with the men and intimidate just as much attracted many men. Her make up was always minimum. She was far from girly but she knew Alfredo appreciated good lingerie. She sauntered around the large bachelor's suite, noting how epicurean and lavish it was. It felt odd to be there, but the excitement that leapt in from her thudding heart like uncontrollable adrenaline kept her going. She made a lot of impulsive decisions when it came to one man. She only wanted a chance, besides... she missed him. A yearning feeling had been bothering her back in Mexico. He had not returned her calls, it seemed as if he was busy, or just avoiding her. She imagined him taking another woman, granted that happened most of the time; they were not committed to each other. He could do whatever he wanted to but the thought of it troubled her. She had to come and remind him what he had back home. New York came with a lot of diversity and varieties of walks of life, most all beautiful woman. She was afraid, deep down she knew she was afraid they'd steal him away. Lola prayed, it wouldn't work out with this Adela. Hopefully, her jealousy whispered and pushed for thoughts that suggested she would be pleased and capable making any woman... or man who got too close Alfie disappear for good.
Lola turned to look at the door that had opened abruptly. Eying down a woman, she was easy on the eyes but nothing special. One of their own.... latina. She looked fatigued and dead tired. "...sorry... I had no idea there was some-"
"It's alright." Lola dismissed. "I decided to book an earlier flight and forgot about the reservations I had already made."
"I will return later." Mila shrugged, she was always bubbly and ready for any conversation with guests. They loved her friendliness but not today, she did not feel like it. She did not have the energy to even be at work. Not with everything that was happening. Her emotions were all over the place and out of her control. For the longest time, she always always had her feelings on track. She knew when to back away, she knew what was right and wrong but this time- she was at six and sevens.
"...no no stay, do what you have to don't let me be a bother..." Lola offered a smile.
"...alright thank you...let me get to it ma'am."
"Do you happen to have any romantic reservations or packages around here...?" She asked as Mila was about to- Mila noted the thick Mexican accent. She could always tell. Her accent had been diluted with the New York accent so it was always rather hard to tell.
"Yes, there are multiple after all this is a honey moon paradise..." Mila said returning the kind gesture. She was used to this, engaging with guests the good and bad; just had to keep smiling. "I could bring you the pamphlet from downstairs. They also have an overnight spa package for two. I think it's on special..."
"Sounds wonderful." Lola smiled pleased with the answer. Out of excitement, she couldn't keep it in she had to tell someone. "I came to surprise my boyfriend. He isn't aware I'm here, hopefully that turns out well."
"That's sweet! I'm sure he will be delighted to see you..."
Nodding Lola slumped onto the bed. "It's been two months. I've never been away from him for that long."
Mila didn't know what to say. She really wasn't in the mood for conversations. As nice as the lady sounded, she simply wanted to get her work done and go onto the next. Luckily, the conversation didn't last long as Lola went to shower and freshen up. The woman looked familiar but it did not click that she had been the very same woman who had been FaceTiming Alfredo the other night. She was too occupied with her thoughts to even think further past anything. The hotel had nearly two hundred guests constantly doing in's and out's. She had seen too many faces to even recall certain one's. She had no idea why she had been feeling so gloomy, it must have been her period approaching. She was never one to tolerate pain. Mila had exchanged shifts and begged her co workers to fix anything that would have landed in her seeing him. It was only beginning to get complicated and none of them were aware of it.

I'm changing the plot from Judas kiss bec I really don't like repetition. I will delete chapters from there and try to make everything make sense but not give away too much.
