Chapter 4
It had been a week since they had first arrived, all of their deliveries had been fulfilled. The young couple normally wouldn't associate themselves with the drug business, but when Mrs. Wickerson had come with a proposition, they couldn't resist. It had turned out that her son had made the deal without awareness of a previous commitment, now she was cleaning up the mess. In return, all of them would get to be invited to her husband's retirement party and if anyone knew them, they would know they all loved a good party.
Today, at the heart of night, they sat in a dimly lit room with pumped up music loud enough to burst an eardrum played. There was a center stage, forming a catwalk in the center and a pole in the middle. Schmitty sat on the brown leather couch, stationed directly in front of it. He was in his usual attire; a black customized suit that cost well over thousands. However, the only difference was that his green tie was undone a bit and the top 3 buttons were unbuttoned. He held a glass of whiskey in one hand and the other held a cigarette.
Nikki sat beside him with her hand on his chest running smooth circles on it as she looked up at the stage as well. Her feet were propped under her, the black pumps touching her hips and a glass of wine on her other hand half gone. She wore a tight green dress that reached her mid tight, long-sleeved, with a low cut in the front. She wore black stockings that reached her knee meeting the end of the dress. Her accessories didn't leave anyone disappointed as the simple diamond earring and necklace dances along with the multitude of colors in the room.
"Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for Candy and her twin sister- Mandy," the announcer spoke into the microphone as he showcased the two women walking on. They wore black cheerleading outfits, making their red hair stand out as if it was a flame. They did a small twirl and waved their pom-pom's at the crowd, making it go wild.
Callum, Aaron, and Quin stood in front of the stage. waving their hands filled with cash in front of them as they yell, "whoo-," to the approaching girls.
"Shake what your mama gave you," Quin yelled at the girls, making Schmitty and Nikki chuckle.
"Isn't he too young to be looking at a half-naked girl?" Nikki asks as she sips her drink.
Schmitty lets out a low chuckle, "Your one to speak."
Nikki hits him lightly on his chest, "Your right."
"Hey there- is this seat taken," a voice says to their right making them turn around and admire the persons whose voice belonged to. The woman had dark brown flawless skin, brown eyes, light brown hair, and a full figure.
Nikki smiles at their new guest and greats her instantly. "Not for you, Marrissa" Nikki responds, alerting Schmitty that she had things handled. He disregards their conversation and focuses on the girls undressing on the stage, not wanting the money they paid to enter go to waste.
"Nicolet M-" Marrisa starts but is interrupted by Nikki who tenses at the name.
"Hawthorn. I'm going by Nikki Hawthorn now," she tells her with narrowed eyes.
Marrisa contemplates this for a second, "Nikki-" she sounds the name in her tongue, giving it flavor, " I like it. Gives you more of an edge to match your personality."
Nikki chuckles humorlessly, rolling her eyes, " I think you're remembering things wrong, Marissa. I was only bad because I wanted to make you like me."
Marissa places a soft hand on Nikki's face and smiles at her, "I did like you. Very much but you were too young to hang with us."
"Hence the reason why I tried to impress you and the other girls. I wanted you to have a reason for wanting me," Nikki tells her in a sultry voice, removing Marrisa's hand from her face and placing it on her lap with a wink.
Marissa smiles at her, "you were too young in all our eyes." She takes a moment, "You had changed so much, nothing like the Nikki who first walked in. You were so scared, wearing a cute little blue dress and a blue bow to match. Your Sunday best as Madeline used to say."
Nikki laughs at her statement before getting serious. "Yes- I recall a bit. I was 13, just lost my family."
"We all had a story for being in that orphanage, as I recall," Marissa says in a somber tone as she reminisces about her parents' car crash.
"Yes- We all have reasons, I suppose."
Marissa shakes away the somberness and says in a lighter tone, "Shall I order us a drink? How about Scotch?"
Nikki smiles as she nods at her. Marissa waves over the waitress and speaks, "May we get a bottle of your most expensive scotch please."
"Coming right up," she says and walks away. Marissa lets her eyes room her body quickly before turning to her old friend.
"You could never resist a black-haired girl, could you?" Nikki says as she sweeps her black hair away from her face with a smile.
"We all have a type. Mine was obvious, your's- I could never figure it out."
Nikki shrugs, "I'm not into labels but I can tell you something- I love those who let themselves let me love them the only way I can."
Marissa's eyebrows furrowed in confusion but she didn't speak. Nikki smirks at this. "So what brings you to Vegas Marissa," she asks as she trades her cup of wine for the scotch the waitress brought over."
Marissa takes a sip of her drink and pauses for a second, "I came to have some fun."
"If fun is all you're looking for, well. I can't say you've chosen wrong."
"It even seems I picked the right crowd to hang out with. I bet you know how to have fun."
Nikki's eyes light up as she drifts her attention to the stage, "how about we show the rest of them- girls just want to have fun?"
Marissa gives her a contemplative look, "reminds me of Willowbrook. All those times we pranked the other girls at the orphanage."
"The times you snuck out and brought us back alcohol and all types of stuff."
"Ohh- Willowbrook, they kicked me out when I turned 18. What could I say? No?"
Nikki sighs in sympathy, "you have a point there."
"Yeah- Besides- Madeline wanted me gone way before you showed up. Always said I was stirring up trouble but what happened years later- now that was something," she ends with a low whistle.
Nikki scoots closer in interest, "what happened?"
"You didn't hear. Maybe you had already left. There was a killing there, 3 girls."
Nikki's eyes widen, "Really? I must have run away before that then since I never even heard about it. Do you know when that happened?"
"I believe 3 years after I left."
"I would have been 16 then and that's when I choose to leave. Spring of that year."
"I heard this happened in the Fall. Could you imagine if you had stayed?"
Nikki shakes her head as she sips her drink. "It's a good thing I didn't."
"It is. Now you're even rich."
"How can you tell I'm rich?"
"Are you kidding- look at your outfit. Your whole demeanor screams rich."
Nikki smiles, "Well- let's just say- I started a successful business. I'm surprised you haven't heard of my hotel."
Marissa gasps, "don't tell me you're the face behind Le Rook. That is such a fabulous well-known Hotel. How did you come up with the name."
"I used to play chess when I was younger, and have been fascinated with the game ever since."
"That is exhilarating."
"Oh being in the spotlight isn't all it's worked up to be. We even came here for a business contract. Thinking of expanding here."
"That's incredible. Congratulations Nikki," she says as she raises her glass.
Nikki smiles and clinks it with hers, "Thank you," she tells her and finishes her drink.
"How about that dance now?" Marissa asks.
"I thought you'd never ask," she tells her and grabs a hold of her hand, both of them walking toward the stage.
Schmitty leans closer as he watches the love of his life climb on stage. The boys joined him on the couch, all looking up in anticipation. The crowd goes silent as they all stare at them in awe. Nikki looks over at Schmitty with mischievous eyes as she slowly starts swaying her hips to the music; Hipnotízame by Wisin Y Yandel.
Me seduces cuando bailas asi, tocar tu cuerpo para mi no es fácil
Me gusta cuando te pones dificil y me dices "pa' cojelo easy"
Mirame, deslizate, pegate, a la pared
Marissa grinds against Nikki as Nikki traces her fingers over Marissa's arm up and down. The crowd is on the edge of their seat, so entranced by the two girls dancing with each other.
Déjame sentirme tuyo, completamente tuyo
Hipnotizame, haz lo que quieras conmigo y mátame tú
Quitate la ropa, quiero ver como te tocas, uh
Nikki turns Marissa around and walks over to the pole. She places her hand over it and walks around it slowly as Marissa's gaze falls to her clothes and clasps the ends off her blue dress, lifting it little by little while Nikki spins and squats down with the help of the pole. The crowd hollers at the excitement.
Tiene algo diferente, se siente, se siente
Multimillon records entrando por el frente
Querías que llegara a la discoteca (presente!)
Una princesa quiere una noche caliente
Marissa's dress hits the floor first as she watches lustfully at Nikki. Nikki discards her dress, and Marissa smiles as she takes in her black thigh high socks, black thong, and a black bra that reached her rib cage. She walks closer to Nikki, placing hands on her side and gazing lovely at her. They're so close to each other, inches away.
Un beso de ella es mi alimento me matan sus movimientos
Nikki turns around and walks away from her with a smile. Marissa pulls her back, close to her, as they help each other sway to the beat. Marissa runs her hands over each of Nikki's tattoos, not being able to help herself. She starts with the king cobra on her side that reaches down to her hip, then the wolf on her hip, makes her way up to the tiger painted on her shoulder, the harpy eagle talons on her neck, and places a soft kiss on the yang tattoo on her wrist.
Me dices rápido, o veces medio lento, lento
La vamos a pasar bien, yo lo presiento
Dame un besito mojado y robame el aliento
Nikki turns her attention toward Schmitty, making sure he was watching her and only her. Her eyes widen in panic as he sees him clutching the sides of his head and looking at the ground. She quickly detaches herself from Marissa, "I have to go-" is all she says as she rushes to Schmitty's side.
"Schmitty, are you alright?" she asks. Schmitty looks up, a bit lost. Nevertheless, he smiles at her wardrobe. There was no telling how much he had missed.
"I'll be better in a minute," he tells her as he grabs her hand and starts bolting toward the exit.
"Where are we going?" She asks, clearly intrigued by what was happening.
"To the roof," he says with a wink.
"I'm not dressed- I can't walk outside like this," she hisses through her laughter, unable to deny her excitement of being with Schmitty.
"Since when do you care?"
She shrugs her shoulders at him and stops mid-step with a reason in mind. "Since I'm the only one like this," her eyes glint with mischief as she smiles like a Cheshire cat.
He looks at her and cocks up an eyebrow, "Something on your mind?"
"Something to even the playing field, love."
"What do you have in mind," he says crossing his arms, catching on to her thoughts.
"Oh- I think you know," she says as she steps closer to him and reaches for his belt. She unbuckles his belt and removes his tie as he leans in and kisses her. His pants drop and he steps out of them as he helps her unbuttons his shit. She removes everything until he is only left with his black boxers and a grin on his face. She muffles a laugh as she grabs his hand and drags him towards the stairs. "Come on, the elevators are over there," she says running toward it.
As they run to catch the elevator, they smile and wave at the wide eyes and open-mouthed people who stare disapprovingly at them.
"We left my dress," Nikki realizes as they step into the elevator.
Schmitty gives her a playful smile. "I already texted Callum to bring everything," he assures her as he waves his phone in front of her and squeezes her hand. "By the way, he said you looked hot."
"Callum thinks everyone is hot," Nikki tells him with a laugh.
"I think you looked hot too," he tells her and pushes her against the elevator wall, pinning her down. He runs his soft hand up her leg to her stomach, tracing his fingers lightly on the wolf tattoo causing her to shiver. She bites her bottom lip as he looks up at her through his eyelashes. Schmitty then places his burning lips on hers, kissing her hungrily. It takes only seconds before she responds with equal force, jumping and wrapping her legs around his waist. Letting her cold lips cool down his temperature. He trails kisses down her jawline as he runs his hand over her thigh and stomach, while she runs her hands over his hair and bites down on the small rook tattoo on his shoulder.
The elevator dings and they both separate, catching their breath for a moment. "We've had enough rest," he tells her as he lifts her, bridal style, and walks her near the edge of the roof. Overlooking the city, they continue to devour one another like starving animals at a feast.
