A/n: Hello my fellow readers, now before this chapter begins I have been seeing comments involving this story being discontinued or dead, I'm here to tell you is that this story is alive I'm just taking my time and not to stress myself out. Now let the chapter begin!

Y/n's pov

As me and Kairel head to the room that the man child lion and his mate were at, We see other animals minding their own business and/or chatting with what I could guess is their friends though, Kairel and I were getting some looks when the animals see a human and a lion together. But we didn't pay any attention and managed to get to the room, Kairel knocked on the door which opened up to reveal the man child's mate in the room, who looks at us in surprised.

man child's mate: Oh, Kairel and uh...?

Y/n: Oh, right we haven't properly met, my name is Y/n nice to meet you.

man child's mate: Nice to meet you too, Y/n. My name is Bruma and... well thanks for saving me from a near death experience.

Y/n: It's no problem, but do try to change your attitude around others.

Bruma: *smiles* Say no more, after doing some thinking after nearly dying. I have been more of a bitch, but I do plan on straighten up my attitude. Also, sorry for any rude comments of mine Kairel.

Kairel: It's alright, I would like bygones be bygones once 40 days have passed. But where is Xiro, we have some things to tell him.

Bruma: Well, after resting up since... the little rock the boat event, he went and check around the Ark. *sighs* As much of a hunk he is, Xiro is clearly not taking his royalty role seriously.

Kairel: *deadpan expression* Tell me about it.

Y/n: Great, now we have to find Mister man child.

Bruma/Kairel: You mean Xiro?

Y/n: I say it, like I see it.

3rd pov

-after Panthy's performance-

A/n: Basically the scene where she dances on stage singing a spoof version "I will survive"

In the back parts of the large pub room, we see Dagnino and his group were playing cards while an unamused Panthy just watches and sips her drink, while the others placed their cards down and eye the prey to devour.

croc: Why don't we just kill them now? 

vulture: Of course. I don't see why we have to worry about that foolish lion and his stupid friends.

Dagnino: I can see that fat has weakened you're poor carrion-fed brains. Aren't you aware, that we've earned the respect of all the animals on board this ark?

 bear: And why would we want the herbivores' respect? Are they at all worried about not having a lettuce's respect?

The others besides Dagnino and Panthy, with the female feline just shakes her head and rubbing her eyes in annoyance of this group she's in, while Dagnino was not pleased with the response from his fellow male carnivores and slams his hands on the table.

Dagnino: You imbeciles. The world to come will have new rules, aren't you tired of having to run after your food? We won't have to do that anymore. The food will run to us, when we get to dry land, we will take the animals to a place where we can choose the ones we want, to fatten them up until the time comes for the sacrifice.

wolf: Xiro won't allow it and neither will that human caretaker, let's not forget that kick he gave to Sem. Xiro might be a fool, but he's also fair.

Sem: Tch, don't remind me Wolfgang. *rubs his chin* I'll make sure to get my payback on him.

Panthy: [Not if I have anything to do about it, I hope Teresa can get me out of this situation.]

A/n: Just so you know, I'm making it were Panthy is not going to be a villain and one of the reader's love interest with the tiger girl and Kairel.

Dagnino takes note of this and shift his gaze too Xiro, who is talking amongst his herbivore friends at their table planning a way to make their new world to come true. While the said lion is giving a speech about what to do when you fail at a task.

Xiro: And what we can't allow is that just because we feel frustrated, when faced with failure we give up without trying once more.

mole: So then we do it again?

His words only fell on deaf ears as, the pig slams his hand on the spoon launching a grape in the air, Xiro seeing it tries to get it in his mouth but he only falls and missing the grape entirely which his herbivore friends laughed enjoying the young lions playful personality. But then Dagnino comes up to the table, which gains the group's attention to what the male tiger wants.

Dagnino: Hm, hey King. It seems all the bad boys came out to play.Xiro, I'd like to invite you for a drink.

Xiro: *gets up from the floor* No, thank you. I'm with some old friends.

Dagnino: Old friends can always be traded in for newer friends, Xiro.

Xiro: No in my case, for me my friends are fundamental, a reason to live, a priceless asset.

Then Panthy comes in to "seduce" Xiro, much to the female panther's reluctance to do so as Dagnino is forcing her behind the scenes.

Panthy: Hi, handsome. *sits on Xiro's lap* Why won't you come with us?~

Xiro: Uh, you guys don't mind, do you?

-with Y/n, Kairel and Bruma-

in a hall that leads to down the stairs of the ark, we see both Farfan and his wife coming up from the stairs after barely surviving the flood and sneaking on the ark, Farfan was still shocked from seeing what saw a lion in one of the ark's many rooms. While Esther was not believing her husband and too tired from sneaking onto the ark, while neither of them knowing that Y/n, Kairel and Bruma making their way from another branching hallway.

Esther: This is very humiliating. I need a bath.

Farfan: Shh. *whisper tone* The lion might hear us.

Just then as the two greedy humans were resting, Farfan see's Y/n walk passed them with two lionesses, while Esther didn't see them walk pass them, but Farfan did and was shocked to see the nephew of Noah walking with two lions.

A/n: I'm not going to lie, how come Kairel didn't hear Farfan and Esther when making her way to Xiro, cause neither of them were whispering.

Esther: Don't exaggerate, you're probably just imagining things.

Farfan: *poking his head out form the corner* I saw a lion again. But this time two and with that wild child of a nephew that Noah has.

Esther: Stop being foolish. Animals don't sail in boats.

They then went into a room that is filled with snakes, which they run into a small hole that leads to another room.

-back with Xiro-

As Xiro joined Dagnino's table, the young lion prince was a little woozy form having a bit too much to drink, while Panthy was next to him thinking on the young human that she met during breakfast.

Xiro: And one of the most stimulating things about governing is to find one's most capability forgiving.

We, see Dagnino, Sem, Wolfgang and the bear like animal, each with their own unamused looks on their faces while Dagnino was more annoyed with Xiro's behavior, but keeps his cool as to no let his plans fail.

Xiro: For example, all the food is given to me for free. *to Panthy* Hey, your should learn to relax, you know.

????: *groans*

Everyone in the room looks to Kairel, who is not very happy seeing Xiro in this state with an unamused Bruma who is glaring at her "mate" while Y/n is just looking around the room seeing as to how the animals made the lower section of the ark into a pub of sorts.

Kairel: Who authorized this? And I want to know now!

Dagnino let out, a slight growl while Kairel and Bruma walks up to Xiro with Kairel took the drink out of Xiro's hand, while Bruma moves Panthy off of Xiro and giving her a glare while Y/n just walks up to them with a curious expression.

Kairel: May I ask what this is?

Bruma: *to Panthy* And what do you think you're doing with my man.

Xiro: I don't know, but given its color, I'm presuming it's mint. *laughs*

Panthy: It's not like I was enjoying being with him.

Kairel Groans and leaves the room, while Xiro and Bruma follow her leaving Y/n with the others in the room, as the said human looks to Panthy wanting to have his question answered.

Y/n: So, how is it that you guys made place look like a pub?

Panthy: Well, we did have supplies brought with us and found some of the drink supplies down here, but it was Xiro's word to be made.

Y/n: *sighs and rubs the bridge of his nose* Great, he really doesn't know what the Ark's main purpose. I better go and help Kairel clear some things up with the man child.

As Y/n left to where the three lions went, while hearing Panthy let out a giggle at the nickname of Xiro along with some chuckles from Dagnino's group from the insult, once Y/n got to the door and opens it to see Kthe three lions.

Kairel: Is this your idea of a fair government, trying to appeal to everyone?

Xiro: I should care about those I love, and you should do the same. A little fun never hurt anyone. Not everything has to be done by the rules.

Y/n cleared his throat gaining the three lions attention, as he walks up to them letting his voice be heard.

Y/n: Look, this isn't some sort of pleasure trip, didn't you read my uncle's letter?

Xiro: Of course, it said that we'll be on this ark for forty days, learn ot love each other and multiply.

Kairel: You should be a little worried by now. Isn't this rain telling you anything? *brings up the full letter* Here, this is the letter you were meant to read.

Xiro takes the letter form Kairel softly, curious to read it with Bruma who reads along with him but their curious faces quickly change to one of worry and sadness, now that they read the letter and le the info sink in now knowing the ark's true purpose.

Kairel: I suppose now you'll understand that we all rely on your decisions. You are the king, the only survivor of your lineage.

Bruma: My... family...

Kairel: As far as showing concern about those I love, that's all I've done. That's all I ever done.

Y/n walks up to Kairel leaving the two lions to absorb the info they got and knowing their family that wasn't on the ark were gone.

Y/n: Why, don't you rest, Kairel. You'll need your strength the most.

Kairel: Okay, but what about you?

Y/n: I'm going to around the ark and check on the other animals, to see how they are doing. I'll be with you in our room shortly.

The lioness nods, smiling at her human partner and heads towards their room while Y/n goes down another hallway to check on the animals, with someone following behind him.

Y/n's pov

As I continue to go down the hallway, I managed to find some animals that were lost to find their rooms but with my help, we got to their room safely I continued on and to find anymore animals to help in any way. During my walk, I started to notice someone following me I was about to turn a corner, but the person grabbed me and pulled me into the corner and I got a good look at them. They turned out to be a female tiger which made me confused to what ahe wanted and why she was following me.

Y/n: Um, can I help you?
