A/n: Hello my fellow readers, here is the next chapter to this story. Now I'm going to be doing some chapters that take place in between some of the scenes of the Noah's ark 2007 movie, now let the chapter begin.

3rd pov

As the human and Lioness couple were enjoying each other's embrace, Y/n starts to wake up from his sleep and let's out a quiet yawn. Then Y/n feels the rather soft fur like hair snuggled up against his body, which he looks to see Kairel  with her head on his chest with her arm resting on his body. Now in Y/n's mind if this was a situation with a normal lion that could kill him, but Kairel was not that kind of lion.

Y/n: [Right, Kairel is my partner or mate in a way.]

He then slowly get out of bed and carefully, as to not wake Kairel up from her sleep. Once Y/n was out of bed, Kairel then cutely snuggled up with the pillow making Y/n silently chuckle seeing how cute Kairel was being. Then Y/n's stomach let out a rumble, meaning he was getting hungry, which Y/n goes to get some food from the dining area of the ark.

Y/n: [I'll, go and get soem food for both Kairel and I. It'll save her the time to get food when she get's up.]

Once Y/n was out of his rom that he shares with Kairel, he then makes his way to the dining area to see and surprisingly that some food was set and ready for the animals to eat.

Y/n: [Huh? I'm guessing that Uncle Noah or Aunt Naamah, who made it. Though it could have been one of my cousins wives.]

Y/n then goes and grabs a enough food just for him and Kairel to enjoy with one another, Once that was done Y/n was about to make his way back to his room where the sleeping Kairel was in, but he get's stopped by someone's voice.

????: My, that's quite a lot of food for one person to eat.

Y/n turns to be met with a female panther lady with rather... large assets on her figure, but her figure didn't make Y/n flinch as he was used to this sorta women before the flood.

Y/n: Not at all, miss. Just have enough for me and my romantic partner to eat.

female Panther: Oh, how nice and caring of you to do so. I'll say that you're partner is a lucky one.

Y/n: Why, thank you. My name is Y/n by the way.

female Panther: My name is Panthy. it's nice to be able to meet the care taker of the animals on this Ark.

Y/n: That's nice to know. Anyway I should head back to my room before my partner wakes up and finds out I'm not there.

Panthy: Of course. Till we meet again.~

She then walks off to get herself some food, while Y/n makes his way back to the his room with the food in hand, but what neither of them know was a certain tigress watching the two talking.

tigress: [ I'll have to make sure the human keeps his guard up around her. Knowing Dagino he'll try to get rid of this human.]

Kairel's pov

As I was resting in bed, I begin waking up from sleeping and I just wanted to snuggle next to Y/n, but once my eyes were fully open Y/n was not in the bed with me. I sat up looking around the room trying to see if he was still in the room.

Kairel: Where is Y/n?

I was then snapped out of my thoughts hearing the door leading outside of the room open up, I turn to see Y/n entering the room with a tray of food in his hands. He then turns to me with a gentle smile.

Y/n: Morning, sleeping beauty.

Kairel: Morning Y/n. I was just wondering where you were.

Y/n: Just getting us some breakfast and  saving you a trip, cause you were just adorable sleeping.

Kairel: *blushes from the comment* Thanks, Y/n.

Y/n: *smiles* No problem. Now let's eat before this gets cold.

He then placed the food in front of me and I saw that there was enough for both of us to eat, It's a good thing that the food was not made by other animals. During our meal we talked about the things we did before the flood started, like how Y/n helps with his uncle and cousins around their farm and chores.

I also told him somethings that I did and how help the King and Queen with their schedules and who is in need to see them or have complaints that need discussing. Which got was both to laugh as most of the complaints were about Xiro and his reckless behavior, then Y/n pulls out an interesting looking flute from his bag.

Y/n: Mind if I play a song?

Kairel: Sure, I'm curious on what kind of song your gonna play.

Y/n: Oh, trust me. You'll love it.

-play any soothing flute like song-

As Y/n plays his flute, I was feeling more at ease and allowing myself to relax and enjoying the soothing song that Y/n is playing. But like all good things, the soothing song came to an end which I give a playful pout to Y/n.

Kairel: That was a lovely song Y/n. But why did you end it.

Y/n: *chuckles* Don't worry your pretty little head, I have other songs. But we do have to go check on a certain play boy lion.

Kairel: Xiro, right. Sorry if he interrupted your explanation when we got on the Ark. He thinks that, this whole Ark is a pleasure cruse.

Y/n: What? Of course this isn't just a pleasure cruse. This Ark is supposed to keep us and all the other animals safe until 40 days and nights. Didn't the King now full well?

Kairel: The King and Queen, yes they know what it was meant for, but Xiro not so much.

Y/n: *sighs* He is going have to know what the Ark is supposed to be for eventually. And he really needs to get his behavior straighten out, cause if he's going to be King of the animals, then he needs to know that his people comes first.

Kairel: That, I can agree. Also just to make sure you know, watch out for Dagino.

Y/n: Is he the male tiger?

Kairel: Yes, before the flood Dagino is not the most trusting person to believe and he has tried to take King's Sabu's place.

Y/n: But, the other animals thought other wise.

Kairel: Yup.

Y/n: Thanks, for the warning. I'll make sure to keep an eye on him. But for now let go check on the man child.

He and I let out a laugh knowing if Xiro heard that, he would not be pleased. But Y/n would not care, he then takes my hand as we both head out of the room heading towards Xiro and Bruma's room, something tells me that this will be a stressful day.
