A/n: Hello my fellow readers here is the next chapter to this story, now before this chapter begins I have been doing some thinking in adding Panthy. Which I am going to add her as a love interest, but not right away she will change as a character later on just before Dagnino's plan. Now let the chapter begin!

Y/n's pov

As me, the lion girl and the other animals got on the Ark, you think things would be smooth sailing, right? But nope ma and the others animals that are hanging on to something sturdy enough so that we're not flying around and hitting walls.

Lion girl: What's going on?!

Y/n: There's probably still a rope or two tied to the Ark! That's why it being flipped around!

male lion: What do we do?!

Y/n: For now just hang on to something, until my cousins can cut the ropes!

As I said that, I see a tiger like girl falling right towards me which I grabbed her by the hand and bring her up close to me to prevent her to fall out through the window of the Ark and into the endless body of water. As lady Luck was on our side, I saw the ropes that were tied to the Ark being cut by my cousins on the deck, I then felt the Ark shift to balance itself to proper position.

But yet again I felt the Ark shift again which I held on to a beam tightly and the tiger girl I have in my other arm, as other animals fly back into a wall or box from not being able to hold on to anything, except for the Lion girl I brought as my partner, the male lion and his mate.

The Ark felt like it was going over a large wave, but it soon ended quickly and clamed down a bit allowing me and the other animals to stand properly, once the Ark was well balanced and smooth sailing I let go of the beam and helped the tiger girl to her feet while the said tiger girl calmly fixes her fur.

tiger girl: Thanks, for the save.

Y/n: No problem.

I then look to the lion girl that is my partnered mate to see that she's trying to get the other animals attention, but not anyone of them heard her. I then sighed and make my way to her and tapped her on the shoulder, which gets her to look at me which I motioned her to cover her ears which she did with a curious expression. I then bring my finger to my mouth and let out a whistle that is loud enough to get the other animals attention.

Y/n: Alright! Now that I got your attention, listen up. We all have a long journey ahead of us, so to make things as smooth and peaceful as possible. The rooms on the right upstairs are for the larger animals while the left is for the smaller ones, but please try to keep yours and your chosen mate's "private" time on the down low.

This got some of the males let out wither a whistle or chuckle, while the females just shook their heads a their simple minded ways.

Y/n: Now any questi-

male lion: Ooooh! The rooms are first class! Last one there's a donkey!

Y/n: No wai-!

I try to stopped a herd of animals rushing up the stairs to get some of the best rooms they could get, while I just pinched the bridge of my noes and let out a frustrated groan knowing it's going to be a pain to deal with a lion man child. I then noticed the female tiger from before walked passed me while muttering "thank you" but I then herd the male tiger begin to speak.

male tiger: It seems like there's going to be problems with discipline.

Y/n: Yeah, whatever.

lion girl: You okay?

Y/n: Yeah, just a bit frustrated and tired from the little rocking boat ride. Let's go and hope to see that the animals are in the right rooms.

As me and the lion girl go up the stairs passing some rooms on the way, my hopes here not what I expected, since some of the bigger animals are in smaller rooms meant for  animals that are not as big as elephants. While some of the smaller ones were in practically bigger rooms, but me and the female deer comes out of another room and head towards the one with the male deer, I then took a glance at the opened room to see a donkey came out of the door way and winked to the female deer.

I just rest my hand on my head while shaking it, since the animals are doing the opposite of what they were supposed to do, I then look to see the lion man child, the female lion that I saved from being crushed writing some kind of sheet on a bigger monkey like animal's back. I then gave a glare and make my way to the room as the two pairs of two went into their rooms, but I felt a hand on my shoulder to look and see that it's the female lion that's my partner.

lion girl: Look let's rest, since your probably too tired to deal with our "King."

Y/n: *sigh* Good point. Before I forget, what's your name?

lion girl: Oh! Right I guess we did forgot with the whole flood happening. My name is Kairel.

Y/n: Kairel? That's a cute name. Mine is Y/n, pleasure to meet you.

I see the lion girl named "Kairel" blushed through her fur, which was cute I hen grabbed her hand or paw? Nevertheless I took her to our room which is next to the elevator in case my uncle, aunt or cousins need me for something, I then opened the door to let Kairel inside first which she did and look at me with a tease like grin.

Y/n: Make yourself at home.

Kairel: Thanks, your room looks nice.

Y/n: Don't you mean our room? Don't forget, you are my mate and partner.

Kairel: I know, but it's just surprising that you would take as so. Especially how animals and human relationships are.

Y/n: True, some of mine capture and/or kill animals and vise versa.

Kairel: And it's the fact that you don't have a human mate. Why is that?

Y/n: Well... in most case not a lot of human women can be loyal or trusted. While in some cases I was designated as "wild child" cause I enjoy the sight of the forest and being able to understand animals emotions and feelings.

Kairel: That's... incredible, looks like a lot of human women missed out on having someone like you.

Y/n: *chuckles* Thanks. But How come you weren't selected or with someone?

Kairel: Well, I was hoping to be selected as Xiro's mate, but he chose one of his selection on what kind of woman for the Ark. And that I seemed unattractive because of me being "fat."

Y/n: Well, I can see that those male animals aren't as smart they appeared. Cause your many things than "fat" your more attractive than anything.

3rd pov

As Y/n makes his words known to Kairel, the said lion woman hugs her human mate catching him off guard, but he returns the embrace and rub his hand on her back. Kairel coulf feel nothing but joy from her partner accepting her and giving her a chance at love, then the two separate from the hug and both let out a tired yawn.

Y/n: Now let's get some rest. Once we do so, we can discuss more with lion man child.

Kairel: You mean Xiro?

Y/n: I know what I said.

This makes Kairel let out a slight giggle from Y/n's little joke, as the two make way to the bed that they are going to share. Y/n was the first to get in the covers followed by Kairel so that the both of them could relax and sink into their sleep, but Kairel then wraps her arms around Y/n and lays her head on his chest. while the said human looks at her with a soft smile and embraces Kairel along with feeling the softness of her fur.

Y/n: [Her fur is nice and soft. Better than any blanket could ever match.]
