Everything was dreamy, it was like I woke up one day and all my dreams came true, being with Arnav was so easy, it wasn't tiring like it was with my ex, I dint have to be so worried, so restless all the time, and maybe it was good, it was good that I gave Arnav a chance and he was proving to me why he deserved it.

He was making me all happy, like I should have felt in my first relationship, he was showing me the true meaning of love and I was just grateful that even after we stayed away for so long, his love for me never died, he kept it alive and luckily I got to be with him.

I really couldn't have asked for anyone better, I know it had been just a few days, but in these few days, I was happier than I ever was before.

I was seated in my room with a stupid smile on my face, just thinking about Arnav and how cute it was walking home with him, holding his hand, oh it was so romantic.

"I hate you." Piya's voice interrupted my thoughts.

"What did I do now?" I asked.

"I hate that you are this happy, you stole Arnav from me and see how happy he's making you, you have this stupid smile on your face continuously, I hate it." She rolled her eyes as she sat down beside me.

"I hate it too." I giggled as I pulled her into a hug, I knew she was being sarcastic, in real she was happy that I was happy.

"Oh I know you love it, stop pretending." She frowned as she hugged me back tighter.

This girl and her ways of showing she loved me.

I broke the hug when my phone beeped notifying me I had received a text, I pulled apart and grabbed the phone opening the message I had just received.

"Once you're done texting Arnav come for dinner, mom sent me to call you." Piya said.

"I'll be there right away." I said as i read the text, it wasn't from Arnav actually, it was from Manav.

He had finally texted me regarding the proposal, and as to when I will be free so we can meet up and plan it all, he didn't want to wait any longer so he wanted us to plan it as soon as possible.

I replied to his text informing his about the days i was free so he could pick one and then we would move forward, I placed my phone back on the bed and headed out of my room to have dinner with mom and Piya.

After dinner, I headed back to my room just to find my phone beeping nonstop, I grabbed it to check what was going on, Manav had created a group with Ansh and Arnav and they were all giving ideas about the proposal and they were also continuously mentioning my name waiting for my to reply.

I also had separate texts from Arnav, just greeting me and saying how happy he was about our walk earlier today, I replied to him first and then replied in the group chat throwing my Ideas at them so we could decide on what we wanted to do and where.

After a while of chatting and sharing ideas, everyone finally went to sleep, it was like all this while Arnav was waiting for them to go to sleep because as soon as they stopped texting, he called me and we spent the rest of the night talking to each other on the phone.

The next morning, I arrived at work early because Arnav and I had decided to get to work early and spend some time together before everyone else arrived, it was like a secret office romance, quite exciting I tell you.

As soon as I got there, I went to check if he was in his office but he hadn't arrived yet, so I went back to my desk and started on my work while I waited for him, all this was pretty exciting, I couldn't stop looking at the entrance waiting for him to get here.

A moment later, I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned around, I found him standing there holding a bouquet of red roses in his hands and with a big smile on his face, he looked really handsome when he was smiling like this.

"These are for you." He said as he handed me the flowers.

"Aww, thank you Arnav, this is really sweet." I smiled as I smelled the flowers, they had such a beautiful scent.

"Anything to see that beautiful smile on your face my Bindiya." He smiled.

I placed the flowers on my table and stood up and immediately pulled him into a hug, I didn't know how else to appreciate the things he had been doing for me, he had been doing all these little things for me, always trying to make me smile, it was really sweet and I was just overwhelmed with all this happiness which I poured into the hug.

At first he was quite surprised, as soon as I hugged him, he stood still for a moment, as if he couldn't believe I had hugged him but then slowly he eased out and wrapped his arms around me holding me into his arms.

"I wish I would have had these feelings towards you when we were in college, we wouldn't have wasted all that time in pain." I said as I broke the hug and looked at him.

He cupped my face and looked at me, still smiling.

"It's okay, it made my love for you stronger. Maybe it wouldn't have felt this intense if it started then, maybe we needed that pain for it to feel like it does now."

"Maybe." I smiled as I sat down, he pulled Aman's chair and sat beside me looking at me making me blush.

"Would you like to come home for dinner sometime?" he asked leaving me surprised, I looked at him in confusion not knowing whether to accept or not.

"I know you don't love me yet and it might take a while to get there but it's just... your mom knows about us, I've been to your place so many times and I feel like you should come to my place too, if you aren't comfortable yet, I can introduce you as my workmate or a friend." He said.

"I know... it's just that I'm scared, what if they don't like me?" I bit my lower lips nervously.

He immediately looked away from me and started looking around leaving me wondering what happened suddenly.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Nothing." He shrugged, still avoiding looking at me.

"No... tell me, why did you look away like that?"

"It's just that... when you bit your lip like that it did something to me, It made me want to kiss you that's why I looked away."

"So you wanted to kiss me but looked away because you also didn't want to kiss me?" I raised my eyebrow.

"Wait, you mean it's okay if I kiss you?" he asked looking at me excitedly.

"I guess so... but maybe in the future."

"Yeah I was thinking the same, I'd like to wait until the day you are in love with me."

"Me too." I said as I grabbed his hand and pressed his palms into mine, this understanding that we had between us was so beautiful, it was like he understood me so well even without me having to explain it to him.

"Anyway... about you coming for dinner. There's no pressure, if you don't feel comfortable yet, it can wait. Sometimes I can get too excited, you know all this is literally a dream come true for me so..."

"I'd like to come... and I don't mind you introducing me as your girlfriend if you are okay with it, I am too." I smiled.

"Really? Wow. I can't wait for you to meet my mom and my sister, they are going to love you." He said excitedly.

"I hope so." I replied nervously.

I mean I was really into this relationship and I was hoping one day, I was going to be madly in love with him like he was with me, but right now I wasn't there yet, so it was a bit scary to meet his family but he had met mine and my mom and sister knew about him so I figured he also deserved the same, his family should know about me too.

"Don't worry, my mom and sister are so friendly, they are going to love you, you don't have to be scared or nervous, they are going to love you trust me."

"How can you be so sure?"

"I just am." He smiled.
