Part 2

As usual, I was standing at the parking lot, leaning against my bike and waiting for Ansh and Manav to arrive, anyone that arrived early had to wait for the others, then we would talk for a while and head to our classes.

Today I had arrived because of a reason, I hoped I was going to get to see Khushi, I hoped today she was going to walk towards me just like yesterday and ask for help about something else.

I kept on staring at my phone, and every now and then I would lift my head up hoping I'd get to see her but she was nowhere to be seen, she looked the punctual type, the one that obeyed the rules and stuff, so why wasn't she early to college?

"What woke you up early?" Manav asked as he walked towards me.

"What?" I asked in confusion.

"I'm usually the one that arrives early and wait for you and Ansh, it's surprising that you are early today."

"I just woke up early one day dude, chill."

"So where's Ansh?"

"He must be in the shower, I bet." I laughed as I started scrolling through my contacts so I could call him and ask him where he was. I pressed the call button and pressed the phone close to my ear waiting for him to pick up.

At that exact moment, I saw her. She had just parked her scooter and stepped out, she was dressed in a white Patiala suit with a yellow dupatta and today she had a yellow bindi on her forehead. He hair was tied into a high ponytail and as usual her lips were glossy and pink, I wondered how they tasted. Damn she looked gorgeous.

"Yo bro!" Ansh said on the phone, but my mind was stuck on Khushi, and how she was walking, it seemed like she was making a slow-motion entrance in a Bollywood movie.

"Arnav! Dude. Are you there?" Ansh said. It all just went over my head, I couldn't even say a word, I was just staring at her without blinking.

"Nice dress Bindiya." I smirked as she came closer towards us. She stopped walking and looked at me for a moment and then rolled her eyes as she walked away.

"A thank you wouldn't hurt Bindiya." I shouted.

"Calling me Khushi wouldn't hurt too." She replied without even turning to look at me.

"How rude, she dint even say thank you." I said making Manav laugh. Ansh had already disconnected the call by that time.

"Are you interested in her or something?" Manav asked.

"No... I just like teasing her, the face she makes when I call her Bindiya instead of Khushi is priceless." I laughed.

"Okay... anyway where is Ansh? He dint receive the call?"

"He did, but this idiot would speak. Why call if you don't want to talk?" Ansh said as he joined us and punched me on the arms.

"I got busy." I smirked.

"Okay, now let's go to class, we're already late. We'll meet up at lunch time in the canteen." Manav suggested, we all nodded and headed to our respective classes.

I knew Khushi was in the class beside mine and a part of me really wanted to go there and just peep in and looked at her and admire how beautiful she was.

"What's the plan for weekends? We going clubbing or stuff?" Ansh asked.

"I don't know, we can plan with Manav at lunch time." I said.

"Yeah, I've heard about this new club, people are saying it's really great, maybe we should go there." Ansh looked at me excitedly.

"I wonder if Khushi goes clubbing." I said out loud, which I wasn't expecting to. It was a thought, how did I say it out, now Ansh will definitely have something cheesy to say.

"If she doesn't, you can ask her if she wants to come." He laughed.

"Yeah, she will slap me right away." I laughed.

Khushi seemed like a pretty simple girl, by looking at her, I could imagine how she spent her weekends, maybe at home reading novels, or maybe going out for lunch or dinner with her friends, she dint seem the type to like clubbing and stuff.

The lecturer walked in and the class began so even Ansh stopped talking, I started at the board blankly, anyone that would look at me would think I was really concentrating, but I wasn't, I was just thinking about Khushi, I couldn't stop thinking about her. How did she manage to look so flawlessly beautiful, how was she so simple? I couldn't stop wondering about each and everything related to her.

*****

As usual, the three of us were in the canteen busy eating lunch, I kept hoping that Khushi would come to eat here like yesterday so every now and then I would look at the entrance hoping to see her, incase anyone walked in I would hope it was going to be her, but I ended up being disappointed.

It looked like she wasn't hungry today or maybe just like the other students she had decided to go eat at some restaurant.

Okay Arnav, will you please stop thinking about her, it's been like twenty-four hours since you met her.

While having lunch we decided on our weekend plans and as Ansh was suggesting we thought we'd give the new club a try.

Once we were done eating, we headed out, Manav dint have any more classes so he bid us goodbye and headed home, Ansh and I still had almost half an hour left for lunch time to be over so we could get back to class.

"So, what do we do now?" I asked Ansh.

"I don't know, maybe just go sit in class, there's not much to do." He shrugged, I nodded as we both started walking towards the class. A few steps ahead and some girl came out of nowhere approaching Ansh.

"Hey, could I talk to you for a while?" She asked him, Ansh looked at me making funny faces that made me want to laugh, he just nodded as he walked aside with the girl, I went to the class deciding to wait there for him.

Where was Khushi though, I just saw her in the morning and then it was like she disappeared. I really wanted to see her, if it was in my control, I would sit in front of her and stare at her whole day. Okay something is definitely wrong with me.

Once I reached to my classroom, I decided to check Khushi's class, of course I knew it was going to be empty as it was lunch time, but I just looked anyway, and as if destiny was on my side, I actually found her in the classroom.

She was seated there all alone, eating lunch. Why hadn't she made any friends yet? I mean she was pretty, she seemed nice and simple, even if she dint have friends, why wasn't any guy trying to pretend to be her friend because they were interested in her?

"Are you in high school yet?" I smirked as I walked inside her class, she looked at me and rolled her eyes. Why did she have to roll her eyes every time she saw me?

"Do you always ask stupid questions?" She asked.

"I asked because you're eating in class all alone, you carried lunch from home dint you?" I laughed.

"Yes I did, so what? Maybe I like to eat home made food, it's healthy." She said.

I just smiled as I walked closer to where she was seated, I don't even know why she was so rude to me, I dint do anything wrong to her, besides when everyone else was pranking her, I helped her get to the dean's office.

"Can I sit?" I asked.

"It's a free world, do as you wish." She replied.

"Why do you dislike me so much Bindiya?" I smiled as I sat down opposite her and looked at her, why was she so breathtakingly beautiful?

"Why do you keep calling me Bindiya? I told you I have a name, it's Khushi, call me that." She frowned.

"Okay Khushi. Why are you seated alone here? Haven't you made new friends?"

"No, I am not the friendliest person, I don't really know how to make friends."

"How would you like to be my friend then? We're going clubbing this weekend, you can join us?" I asked, I knew she wasn't going to come, but I dint have much to say and I just wanted to keep talking to her, it was kind of satisfying.

"Do I really look the clubbing type to you?"

"No, but you can always try."

"Nope, it's not my thing."

"Why not?"

"Because not everyone likes partying with a crowd full of strangers and that don't have to. That is fun to you great, go do it. It's not fun to me." She smiled lightly, like she wasn't tried to be offensive or anything just trying to explain her likes and dislikes.

"Okay Bindiya, whatever you say." I sighed as I stood up to leave, I walked towards the door when I heard her call out my name.

"Arnav." She said, I literally felt goosebumps when she mentioned my name with her sweet voice, why did it sound do good? It was a simple usually name, but right now it sounded so damn special.

"Yes Bindiya?" I smirked as I stopped walking and turned to look at her, by the time I turned, she was o her feet walking towards me, she had this huge smile on her face that made me want to stare at her more.

"I was thinking..." She stopped in front of me still smiling cutely, oh my heart. She stepped closer to me and looked me into the eyes, why did this have to feel so romantic?

"Since you can't stop calling me some stupid name, you deserve this." She smirked slightly and before I could realize, she had stepped on my foot with her heel and damn that hurt, she smirked at me and walked away leaving me whining like a baby. I couldn't have thought that she had the courage to do something like this, that just got me more attracted towards her than I already was.
