Vineet stands in the hall before his Bua and Dadi. The ladies were confused to find him before them, that too he looks angry and disappointed. But what’s the matter? Why is he angry? Is something wrong with the business?

'’Kya hua Vinu? Tu aise kyun khada hai?” His dadi questions him.

He shot them a deadly glare,

'’Toh aur kya karu dadi? Aap ne aur bua ne toh pura intezaam kar diya hai na mera ghar todne ka, koi kasar toh chori nahi hai. Jaane kya bigada hai meine aapka jo aise badle le rahi ho aap dono mujh se, dadi kya chahti ho aap? Kyun iss tarah Anu ke piche pade ho aap dono?'’ Vineet questions his grandmother and aunt who stand rooted at their place. 

'’Beta hua kya hai? Usne hamare khilaf tumhare kaan bhar hi diye na? Dekha maa iss ladki ko, har baar galti karti hai fir hamare bache ko hamare hi khilaf bhadkati hai. Meine toh pehle hi kaha tha naagin hai wo naagin, ameer baap ki bigdi hui aulad. Dekho kaise hamare bete ko hamare khilaf kar diya.'’ Bua stated rolling her eyes in anger. 

Vineet fumes,

'’Bua please, usse bich mei maat ghasito. Usne mujhe kuch nahi kaha hai aur na hi kabhi kehti hai. Aaj tak har jhagde ka pata mujhe aap dono se chalta hai uss se nahi aur main fir bhi usse hi samjhane ki koshish karta hoon jab ki galti aapki logon ki hoti hai. Main nahi chahta ghar mei aur tension badhe issliye usse hi samjhata hoon par aap dono hai ki kuch samajhte hi nahi. Chahte kya ho aap dono? Aaj mujhe saaf saaf bata doh, taki atleast main soch saku mujhe kya karna hai kyunki aap dono ki wajah se main apna ghar toot-te hue nahi dekh sakta aur na hi apne bachon ko barbad hote dekh sakta hoon!'’ Vineet exclaims, his voice loud enough to shiver both the ladies and grab other attention who were in their respective rooms. 

His parents and Anamika came out running to see the matter. They find an angry Vineet standing before his grandmother and aunt while the ladies were gazing at him in bewilderment, trying to grasp that their son shouted over them for his wife. 

'’Vineet, kya hua hai? Tu chilla kyun raha hai?'’ Aarnav questions him.

'’Puch le jara apne bête se, jisse jaane kyun ye lag raha hai hum uska ghar todd rahe hai aur uske bache ko bigad rahe hain. Ek toh isne jis se kaha uss shadi karwai iski, hamari manzuri nahi thi kabhi bhi, fir bhi bas iski khushi ke liye iss ladki ko accept kiya humne taki ye khush rahe aur aaj ye hi hum pe ilzaam laga raha hai ki hum iski khushi chin rahe hai. Bahut acha hai ye, iski biwi har roz kuch na kuch karti hai hum bol de toh ladti hai aur aab ye bhi humei hi galat thehra raha hai. Jaane aur kya karenge toh isse aur iski biwi ko khushi milegi? Itna toh sacrifice kar diya iske lite, apna mann maar diya, iss ladki ko apnaya, iske khandan se rishta jora jo iski tarah ghamandi hai, aaj tak ek baar mudke dekha tak nahi iske maa baap ne isse fir bhi hum chup rahe, yahi sunne ke liye ki hum iska ghar todd rahe hai!!'’ Dadi verbalizes, gazing at her son, actually complaining to him while she glares at Anamika as well who doesn't seem comfortable now. 

'’Dadi main already keh chuka hoon mujhe kissi ne kuch nahi kaha hai toh Anu ko bich mei ghasitna band karo aap. And I know, aapne meri khushi ke liye usse accept kiya hai par uska ye matlab nahi aap usse iss chij ke liye har waqt taane do, har baar Vedika ko bich mei lao aur dono ko compare karo. Kyunki aap chaho ya na chaho, main sirf iss se hi pyar karta hoon aur karta rahunga, iske siwa kissi ke taraf dekhna bhi manzur nahi mujhe na hi mujhe koi interest hai Vedika mei, toh please uski baatein iss ghar mei karna band karo. Kyunki jo baatein aap dono karti hai wahi bache sunte hai aur sikhte hai. Kal bhi yahi hua tha issiliye Ansh ko thappad pada tha, par aap dono ne mujhe adhuri baat batai aur wo bhi jaan bujh ke. Wo toh abhi meine Ansh ki baatein suni tab pata chala mujhe warna mujhe toh sach pata hi nahi chalta kyunki aap dono one sided story sunati aur Anamika toh bolti hi nahi. Dadi, bua main aap dono se bilkul ladna nahi chahta issliye please bewajah ke topics maat uchalo jinka koi tuk hi nahi hai yahan.'’ Vineet almost begged them, he was angry - extremely and his eyes were moist too. He certainly doesn't want to argue with his elders but if they are not concerned for his and his wife's happiness, he would have to do something. 

His grandmother didn't speak a word but left from there, so did his aunt. His parents followed the ladies while Vineet and Anamika stood at their place. Thankfully the kids have already left for their school otherwise they would have witnessed the never ending drama of the family. 

Anamika let out a deep breath, why does everything have to be so dramatic all the time?

'’Tumhe iss tarah se unse baat nahi karni chahiye thi Vineet.'’ She told him who turned to her horrified. How can she say that? He was fighting for her and she is not supporting him? 

'’Anu, I did it for you!! Aur kya tareeka hai iske siwa unse baat karne ka? Aur tum aisa kyun bol rahi ho, didn’t  you want me to take a stand for you? Main wahi kar raha hoon na abhi, toh fir aab tum kyun piche hatt rahi ho?'’ He questions her, his eyes already accusing her for all the mess.

'’Oh please! Don't drag me in the mess that you have created. Meine tumse kabhi nahi kaha mere liye sabse lado. Yes, I wanted you to stand by me par uska ye matlab nahi hota ki main ye chahti hoon tum unse lado. Toh iss baat ka blame toh mujh pe dalna bhi maat ki ye tumne mere liye kiya hai, ji nahi. Ye sab tum khud ke liye kar rahe ho taki tum ye dikha sako ki yes you care, you are concern ki koi tumhari wife ko kissi se compare kar raha hai but the reality is you least care about me kyunki jo care karte hai na wo bas saalon mei ek baar logon ke samne aa ke dhindhora nahi peet-te firte hai. Aur abhi jo bhi kuch tumne kiya hai na uska saara ilzaam toh already mujh pe aa hi chukka hai toh tumne meri koi help nahi ki hai bas problem badhai hai meri aur kuch nahi!!'’ Anamika exclaims in a loud and clear voice. 

Vineet clapped at her statement,'’wow! Ye sahi hai, tumhare liye kuch bolo toh bhi galat na bolo toh bhi galat. Mujhe samajh nahi aa raha main karu kya.'’ He shouted over her.

'’Kuch maat karo, especially mere liye. Kyunki tum aur tumhari family already itna ehsaan kar chuki hai mujh pe ki main aur nahi jhel paa rahi hoon. Vineet mujhe khud nahi pata how long I can sustain with this environment, so please don't mess things up and make it more complicated.'’ She requested while joining her hand before him who grunted in anger and left the house. 

Anamika ran to her room, she doesn't want to stand there or follow him because she doesn't find herself wrong. After all what she said was the truth, by arguing with his family he has only burdened her with more problems, they have got a chance to taunt her and they have started it. Dadi didn't hesitate to pull her and her parents in their argument. What was the need? Yeah, they haven't come to see her because they never wanted her to marry the guy but she least cares about them and holds his band, after all love is blind and she was crazily in love with him. But the situation has changed now. At many instances she finds her parents to be right at their perspective but she can't undo what is done. 

Tears roll down her eyes, life has taken a toll giving her pain at every step and she's unaware of how to help herself.
