Part 5
After a long battle with her own mind, Khushi slipped her phone back into the pocket deciding not to text back, she turned to look at Krystle who wouldn't stop looking at Arjun.
"Suman, can you please go and get something from the kitchen so we can put all this vegetables in it?" I looked at Suman who nodded and stood up as she headed to the kitchen.
"Isn't my brother hot?" Khushi smirked as she looked at Krystle.
"Sorry what?" Krystle looked at her in surprise.
"Arjun, I can notice how you aren't able to take your eyes off him, do you like him? You know I love playing cupid, I've been doing that from Prem and Suman too." She looked at Krystle excitedly, Krystle just blushed as she looked at the floor.
"Umm, I was expecting yes or no as an answer." Khushi said.
"How about I don't have an answer?" She smiled.
"There is an answer, maybe you are too shy to tell me because I'm his sister, don't worry I can keep a secret. I mean just look at him, I've always seen girls staring at him wherever he went." Khushi said as she turned around to look at Arjun and Krystle joined her.
Arjun was standing with a couple of his employees and they were busy laughing about something, every few minutes he would run his hand through his hair and he looked damn sexy while he did that.
"Why is he so perfect?" Krystle whispered.
"Well he is my brother, how can he not be perfect." Khushi boasted.
"Well yeah that's all, I just find him perfect, I do not like him or anything, besides even if I did like him, it won't change much, everyone knows about his no dating policy." Krystle shrugged.
"So that's it, you're going to get scared because he has a no dating policy and do nothing about your feelings? I mean look at this world, it's so big and we have like one percent chance of finding the perfect partner for us, why would you let that go?" Khushi said.
"Aren't you more mature than your age?"
"A lot of people say so." She laughed, when it came to love, she was always more mature than her age, not that Krystle was in love with Arjun, but there was possibility and she seemed like a good girl and her brother deserved to find love.
Khushi slapped her forehead laughing at herself, here she was advising Krystle when she was ignoring text from "Mr. Writer", the first ever guy she had a chance of talking to. Life was too short to ignore someone she felt like talking to.
She pulled the phone out of her pocket and ignoring the consequences it might bring later, she decided to text back.
"Hello Mr. Writer" She typed the message and sent it, sliding back the phone in her pocket, she stood up and headed to the kitchen to find Suman who hadn't come back yet.
She stopped at the door when she found Suman standing next to the kitchen and Prem standing far away from her, the both of them weren't really talking to each other but the situation yet felt somehow intense.
This two did like each other, they were just too stubborn for life.
"Now I get why you are taking forever to bring a simple utensil." Khushi said as she walked in.
"I came here to drink water only." Prem said as he walked away in a hurry leaving Suman alone with Khushi.
"Your kitchen is big, it's hard to find stuff." She said.
"Is that so?" Khushi folded her arms and looked at her seriously.

Once the food was ready and everyone had eaten, they decided to start playing some games, before which Khushi excused herself to use the washroom.
She headed to her room upstairs and freshened up, when she walked out of the washroom, her phone beeped, she rushed to check it immediately and saw another text from Mr. Writer.
"Can you send me your picture?" She laughed at the message, did this guy just text her so he could ask for her picture?
"Why?"
"So I can show my friends that you're hot."
"You haven't even seem me, how sure are you that I am hot?" She laughed as she typed back the text, this guy was funny and interesting and flirty!
"I can imagine from the way you text."
"Great, tell your friends to imagine the same way too, I'm not sending you any picture."
"Pretty please?"
"Doesn't work on me."
"Oh damn it!"
She put her phone back in her pocket and headed outside before one of her brothers came looking for her and found her chatting with a guy. She had to admit this was fun though, texting a stranger and hiding it from her brothers, it was fun.
Although it was never really safe to talk to random strangers especially on the internet, she felt like there was no harm here as none of them knew each other at all, not even the real names nor had they seen each other.
She met Arjun on the staircase who was just coming for her, she couldn't be gladder that she came out of her room at the right moment.
"What took you so long?" Arjun asked.
"Chill bro, I was in the washroom duh." Khushi rolled her eyes.
"I was just worried, anyway let's go outside we will play games, it's going to be fun." Arjun said.
"It's going to be fun playing games or playing games with Krystle." Khushi wiggled her eyebrows at Arjun.
"What?" He looked at her in confusion. Seriously was her brother so oblivious? I mean the way Krystle kept on looking at him, dint he ever notice it?
"Nothing, let's play." Khushi smiled excitedly.
*****
"Look Ronit, Arnav is smiling." Krrish smirked as he moved closer to Arnav and stared at him, this guy was already smelling of alcohol.
"Did she send her picture? Is she really hot? Is that why you are smiling?" Ronit asked.
"Shut up you both." Arnav tried to ignore them, it was weird how talking to a random girl on the internet was making him feel so giddy. Like he dint even know her, yet he just found it exciting to talk to her, especially because of the attitude she kept showing him.
He really did wish that she could have sent her picture though, at least he could get to see her, but he knew she wasn't going to do it so he had to just imagine what she looked like.
In his mind, she was this very pretty girl who was way too stubborn, she was naughty and maybe the kind of a girl who easily knew how to get things done her way, just the image he had of her in his mind made her so interesting to him that he somehow just wanted to know her better so he typed another text.
"How about we chat for a while, get to know each other better and when we feel we can trust each other, we'll tell each other our real names and send pictures too?" He sent the message and then sat there waiting for a reply from her which dint come anytime soon.
He kept on checking his notifications every few minutes expecting a reply which never really came until he fell asleep.
*****
What was a night of barbeque and friends gathering if you dint play truth and dare right? Truth and dare was the cliché game of all the gatherings so currently that's whatever everyone was doing, they were all gathered in the garden, seated in a circle as they played truth and dare.
The game was going great for a while, in the beginning almost everyone chose truth because they were scared of the dare's they would be given, but then slowly when the questions started getting really personal, everyone started going for the dares.
Rudra was the first one to choose a dare and he was given a dare of doing fifty pushups with Khushi sitting on his back, well seeing the body Rudra had, that wasn't difficult for him.
Suman who was always pretty scared of the dark was dared to go inside the mansion all alone and stay there for just two minutes with all the lights off, she was pretty shaken up when her dare was over but it was all fun.
When the bottle stopped on Krystle and she chose a dare, Khushi as usual, having mischievous ideas volunteered to give her a dare.
Given that their mansion was built in a pretty isolated place, Khushi gave Krystle a dare to go out of the gate, take a five minutes walk and come back.
"It's late Khushi, it's not safe for Krystle to take a walk all alone on the streets." Rudra said.
"A dare is a dare, and that's the fun of it, when it's all scary, but you are right it isn't safe so Arjun will accompany Krystle." Khushi smirked. Obviously she knew her brothers would never let Krystle perform the dare on her own and because she liked playing cupid, what was better than this?
"If Arjun is going along then it's okay." Everyone else agreed.
"I don't mind, hope you aren't scared of the dark like Suman." Arjun laughed as he stood up and held out his hand from Krystle so she could stand up holding it.
Krystle looked at Khushi who smirked and winked at her making her blush, while Krystle and Arjun headed outside to complete the dare, everyone decided to freshen up, Khushi too stood up and pretended to head to the kitchen to drink water so she could get a chance to read and reply the text she had received long ago but couldn't check because her brothers were around.
Once she was all alone in the kitchen she quickly pulled her phone out and read the text with a huge smile on her face.
"Done deal Mr. Writer." She typed a quick message and sent it, when she turned around to leave she found Suman standing at the door looking dead serious.
"What are you up to?" Suman asked.
"What are you talking about?" Khushi shrugged, she was hoping that Suman hadn't found out that she was still texting a stranger on the internet.
"The dare you gave Krystle." Suman said to which Khushi sighed in relief.
"Did you look at her, she's secretly crushing over bro and that stupid guy has no idea about it so I thought some alone time would be of no harm." Khushi smirked proudly.
"You know I don't really get you, one moment you are mad at your brothers because they wouldn't let you have your fairytale love stories and the next moment you are trying to fix them up with girls." Suman said.
"Are you talking about you and Prem?" Khushi teased.
"I'm serious Khushi." Suman looked at her strictly.
"Come on Suman, they are my brothers and I know they have this rule for me for some reason but you know what, everyone deserves love, you know how much I believe in it so if I can see the potential of it happening to my brothers then why not? I'm more than happy. I know one day it would happen to me too, and I can't wait for the day." Khushi smiled excitedly.
"You think so? The only guy you have ever talked to his that writer dude, so unless it happens with him, you have no chances of finding love." Suman laughed.
"Haha very funny, let's go out now, Krystle and Arjun might come back holding hands." Khushi laughed as she grabbed Suman's arm and pulled her out.
