Three months later...

As time went by, the long distance between Arnav and Khushi seemed to be getting harder and harder, they found themselves arguing over the smallest things, there were insecurities building up and what not, and despite it all, the only thing that kept them together was the fact that they wanted to be together, because they loved each other and they wanted to make this work no matter what.

Over the weekend, Rudra had decided to go back to India for two days as there were some documents that needed his signatures urgently so he planned to take Khushi along too as he couldn't leave her all alone in Australia.

Khushi was so excited to meet Arnav, she couldn't wait to get back home and go surprise him, she couldn't wait to see his reaction, he was going to be so happy.

They were going to meet after like four months, she had missed him so much all she wanted to do was spend all the time with him, the trip was going to be short but at least it was going to make things better between them because they would get to see each other.

"Are you sure you have everything you need?" Rudra asked while they were boarding the plane.

"Yeah, we're going for two days, it isn't like I'll need a lot of things." Khushi shrugged.

"Stop trying to hide your excitement, I know you're excited to see you boyfriend." Rudra rolled his eyes.

"Yes I am, there's nothing wrong in being excited about it."

"I dint say there was something wrong."

"Jeez, I don't want to argue with you, let's just get going. I want to reach as soon as possible."

"It's not a car Khushi, the plane will leave on it's scheduled time not when we want it to."

"Are you done? Can we go now?" She shrugged, she dint know why but she always had this feeling that none of her brothers really like Arnav, only if they would make an effort to get to know him, they would understand why he was so special to her.

As they walked out of the airport after their long tiring journey, they found Prem waiting outside for them, he had come to pick them up.

As soon as Khushi saw him, she rushed to hug him happily, in these few months, she hadn't just missed Arnav but also her two annoying brothers, talking to them over the phone was different than talking to them in real and being with them, she was just so happy to be back.

"I missed you so much." Khushi broke the hug and smiled at Prem.

"I missed you too, Arjun even missed you more, he's gone crazy trying to make everything at home perfect for you." Prem laughed.

"Well, he loves me a lot, I mean who wouldn't love me I am so cute." Khushi giggled.

"Okay, let's get going home, you can boast about your cuteness later." Prem laughed as they all headed to the parking lot where he had parked the car, they put their luggage in and then settled down in the car as he drove them home.

It was quite a long drive from the airport back home, Khushi even fell asleep in the car and was woken up by Rudra when they arrived home.

They walked in to find a grand welcome arranged by Arjun for them, he had literally decorated the entire mansion and had banners reading welcome home.

"We were gone for like four months only not years, plus we're back for two days not for good." Khushi laughed at Arjun.

"Doesn't matter, I'm just happy to see the both of you again." He smiled as he came to hug her and Rudra. Khushi had really missed here, being back here felt so comfortable, they might have a house in Australia, but it never felt like home.

This place right here felt like home, because she had all her brother together with her, only if they dint chose to punish her and themselves by taking some of the decisions they did, but well she was done arguing with them about it.

She had just accepted it and learnt to live with it.

"Where's Krystle?" She asked looking.

"She had a busy day, she said she would come visit tomorrow." Arjun smiled.

"What about Suman?" She looked at Prem who completely ignored her and acted like he dint know who they were talking about, he was still holding a grudge against her for whatever happened, honestly he dint deserve her, he had hurt her so much, she no more wanted to play cupid between them both, maybe they were going to be okay without each other.

"I have no idea, she hasn't shown up yet." Arjun said.

"It's okay I'll call her and visit her, I don't think she would want to come here anyway." Khushi shrugged.

"How about we eat, you guys must be hungry? I had some delicious meal cooked for us." Arjun said happily.

"Okay, I also have to go see Arnav."

"You don't want to rest? The journey must have been tiring?" Arjun asked.

"No, I slept on the plane and even in the car when we were driving here, besides I can rest later, I just have two days to be with him."

"I'm still surprised that you are together." Prem said.

"Yeah well not everyone breaks up for stupid reasons." She rolled her eyes as she walked towards the dining table and sat down ready to eat, her brothers joined her as they all sat down together and ate.

Khushi knocked at the door of Shaina's house nervously, she had never been here before, but she figured if she had to give Arnav a surprise she had to come here, she hadn't even informed him, she hoped he wasn't going to get mad or anything for just showing up at his place like that.

Although she had talked to Shaina earlier and told her to inform her when her mom wasn't around so she could come surprise him but Shaina told her could come anytime as her mom was cool with it so here she was.

"Khushi." Shaina smiled happily at her as she opened the door and let her in.

"Is Arnav home?" Khushi asked.

"Yeah, he's just studying with a friend I guess, go straight and then to the right, you'll find his room."

"Thank you so much, I hope your mom won't mind."

"Don't worry she's not even home." Shaina giggled, Khushi nodded as she headed to Arnav's room nervously, she was nervous and excited too, she was going to see him after months.

The door to his room was slightly open so she pushed it a bit and walked in, Arnav was lying on the bed facing the opposite side, like Shaina said he had company but when she said a friend, Khushi thought it was some random guy and not a girl, but it was a girl, she was seated beside him plucking out hair out of his head or something.

"Jeez Saira, if you don't want to study go home, stop pulling out my hair, you'll make me bald." Arnav said in an irritated voice.

"You've got so many white hairs you're growing old." Saira giggled.

"What did you say? I am old?" Arnav asked as he sat up to face her and then his eyes fell on Khushi, he immediately stepped out of the bed and looked at her with his eyes wide open, he rubbed them for a couple of second just to make sure he was seeing the right thing.

"Surprise." Khushi smiled at him.

"Khushi! Oh my God! Is it really you? Tell me I'm not dreaming." He smiled as he walked towards her immediately and wrapped his arm around her waist, holding her to make sure she was real and he wasn't dreaming.

"Yeah, it's me, I came with Rudra, he had some work for a few days so I thought I'd surprise you, how do you like it?" Khushi smiled.

"I love it, and I love you so much, I missed you a lot." Arnav said as he picked her up in his arms and twirled her around as Khushi giggled.

He stopped after a moment and pulled her into a tight hug while Saira just stood there looking at the both of them awkwardly.

"I should leave you two alone." She smiled.

"Okay, I'm sure you know each other so no introduction is needed." Arnav said.

"Yeah we do, hi Khushi, it's nice to meet you." Saira said as she walked towards them and shook hands with Khushi.

"Same here." Khushi smiled. After the short greeting Saira walked out of the room and as soon as she did, Arnav grabbed Khushi's face and smashed his lips against hers, Saira turned around to close the door but when she saw them kissing she turned around immediately and walked away.

"Wow, that was one kind of a kiss." Khushi giggled as she pulled apart.

"I know, I missed you. I am so happy you're back." Arnav literally jumped up and down like a baby.

"I am, but just for two days, and I'll be going back."

"No, why so soon?"

"I have college to attend, I came because it was weekend, and I just wanted to see you and make sure you still love me." Khushi giggled.

"Always babe, I'll always love you." Arnav smirked and he bent over and kissed her once again, this time he pushed her to the bed, made her lie down as he came over her kissing her wildly. He really had missed her so much.
