Khushi grabbed Arnav's hand and pulled him along to the dining table, they sat down opposite her brothers and then they all looked at each other awkwardly.

Arnav was feeling pretty nervous and scared, her brothers were really scary and knowing they dint approve of him was even scarier.

All he wanted was for them to like him a little bit and understand that he meant no harm to her, he just wanted to love her.

"So get to know each other." Khushi said breaking the awkward silence.

"How did you two meet?" Rudra asked.

Both Arnav and Khushi looked at each other wondering whether they should tell them the actual story or not. Learning that Khushi was secretly talking to someone online would make them mad.

"We..." Arnav started to speaking but Khushi interrupted.

"He came to help his sister in our school for something then we kept meeting by chance in different places, and then later we both ended up going to the same college and doing the same course too.

So we became friends and yeah... that's all." Khushi smiled, Arnav nodded agreeing with her, he could understand why she left out the details of her being in love with Mr. Writer without knowing that he was Mr. writer, that could actually make her brothers mad.

"And you used to lie to me that he likes Suman, I should have known." Prem said.

"You know now."

"Because we caught you, or you could still be hiding things from us."

"I wouldn't have had to if you wouldn't be so strict. Jeez why are we going there again, the whole purpose of this is getting to know Arnav, not us starting to argue again." Khushi said.

"What do your parents do?" Arjun asked diverting the topic.

I don't know why Prem was always so over strict with me, like he had a really short temper, he was always angry about everything.

"Dad is in the army and mom passed away years ago." Arnav said, there was a little bit of sadness in his voice, I held his hand and smiled at him faintly trying to make him feel okay.

"Oh... so who do you live with?"

"My aunt, I live with her and my cousin sister, dad's almost always at work so he visits whenever he gets off duty." Arnav said.

"Oh okay... it's good to know." Rudra said as him and Arjun kept on asking him a few more questions, Prem dint even bother to ask any questions he just sat there listening to the conversation, it was like he just dint want to accept Arnav for whatever reason, like Arjun and Rudra were at least trying to get to know him and stuff but he seemed least interested.

They all finished having breakfast then they went to the hall where they settled down and played a movie that they all watched together.

With every passing minute things got a bit easier for both Arnav and Khushi, Arnav dint even feel nervous anymore, he knew he had nothing to hide neither did he have any wrong intentions with Khushi and one day her brothers were going to see that too.

"I have to go out for a while, he can stay here as long as he likes as I promised you'll get all the time to spend together but no going out okay?" Rudra said as he stood up to leave.

"But what will we do at the house whole day?" Khushi pouted.

"Watch movies, play some board games and talk to each other."

"We can do that for a day or two, eventually it will get boring, why cant you let us go out once in a while if not daily?"

"Aren't you too stubborn?" Rudra smiled.

"Well I am that's why you always listen to me." Khushi giggled.

"Fine you can go out but you have to take either of us along." Rudra sighed.

"That's better. We'll stay at home today though, we'll plan something for tomorrow or other day maybe." Khushi looked at Arnav excitedly.

Arnav just smiled at how cute she was, Rudra walked away and then they were left in awkward silence once again.

A few minutes later, Prem also excused himself as he went upstairs back to his room leaving Arnav, Khushi and Arjun alone.

"looks like I am left here to third wheel." Arjun laughed.

"You can leave if you want to, it's okay." Khushi smiled.

"I have nowhere to go, I'll just watch the movie, if you need to head upstairs to your room you can go as long as you leave the door open."

"What do you think we'll do with the door closed?" Khushi giggled as she stood up grabbing Arnav's hand once again and pulling him up.

"Go to your room." Arjun just rolled his eyes and laughed it off.

Arnav just felt shy and awkward about this two and the things they were talking about, but their bond was really good, he liked how much the three brothers loved and cared for her.

"So what will we actually do?" Arnav asked once they walked into the room and he was just alone with her feeling all comfortable once again.

Around her brothers he just felt nervous and too scared, it was also a bit awkward as he dint know them well, he hoped with time though it was going to feel comfortable.

"I don't know, we already watched a movie downstairs, what do you suggest we do?" Khushi asked.

We can just sit and talk for now and then at lunch we can order pizza, I'm really craving pizza today and as we cant go out, we can just get it delivered here.

Later we can actually play some board game like your brother suggested." Arnav smiled.

"Sounds good." Khushi nodded.

"And maybe before I leave, I can get a hug and a kiss." He smirked.

"Now you're getting naughty her." Khushi giggled.

"What can I say, I am always naughty for you." Arnav winked at her.

"Shut up." Khushi blushed deep red as she looked away from him trying to hide her face.

"It's really cute when you blush like this." Arnav smirked as he turned her to face him.

"You're so irritating." Khushi said.

"Oh come on I know you secretly like me being naughty."

"No I don't." She pretended to frown.

"Is that so? Let's see then." He grabbed her and pulled her closer making her sit on his lap while facing him and then he slowly cupped her face and smirked once again.

Slowly he started brushing his fingers on her forehead heading down to her cheeks and then her neck while she still pretended to be frowning

"oh I see trying hard to act like it doesn't affect you huh?" Arnav laughed.

"I told you so." Khushi smirked.

"Let's see if this helps." Arnav said as he moved closer and pecked on her cheek immediately giving her an adrenaline rush, she shut her eyes immediately and inhale a deep breath trying not to blush but ended up blushing.

"See you've already melted." Arnav laughed.

"Shut up, let me get off before my brothers come here and find us like this." She said as she tried to stand up and get off his lap.

"They aren't going to come check up on his immediately, we just came up so let me steal a kiss before they actually come." Arnav said as he held on to her hand to letting her go.

"Okay fine." She smiled excitedly.

"Aww I love you." Arnav laughed as he stoop and faced her, he moved closer to her slowly closing the distance between them and then cupped her face.

As soon as he did that she smiled a bit and shut her eyes ready for her second kiss, she remembered how beautiful her first one felt and she wanted to feel it all over again, it was such an amazing feeling.

At first Arnav rubbed his thumb on her lip teasing her and then he bent over and brushed his lips against hers and slowly parted them as he kissed her.

It was so soft and slow and so passionate she dint want it to end. It felt like magic, a different kind of magic that she had never experienced before.

She loved being in love, she loved being loved by Arnav, there was nothing more she could have asked for. Being in love was just as beautiful as she had always imagined it to be, and these little cute romantic things that he did were a cherry on top.
