Prem stopped in Rudra's room along with Khushi, Khushi looked around in confusion wondering why he had brought her here.

What did he want to tell her or show her? What was it that sounded so serious and scary?

Soon, everyone else that was downstairs were now standing in Rudra's room, Rudra and Arjun seemed really terrified of whatever Prem was about to do, and Khushi wondered why they were so terrified, what was it that Prem was about to say that scared them so much?

What secret was this?

Prem walked towards the wall behind Rudra's bed, he pushed the bed slightly and then tapped on the wall and out of nowhere, a door opened up.

The first thing Khushi could think of was why Rudra would have a secret room in his room, she wouldn't have guessed anything like it at all.

It was like suddenly she dint know anything about her brothers, they had a big secret from her, why dint they want her to know about it then? She had so many questions running in her mind.

Prem walked back towards her once again, grabbed her hand and pulled her inside he secret room which had a lot of things in it, a lot of pictures hanging around the wall and clothing and everything else, they all belonged to her sister.

"You had a secret room to put Ritika's belongings?" Khushi looked at her brothers in shock, she had no idea what was going on currently.

"Yes Khushi, we had a room made for her belongings, we wanted to make sure we looked at it everyday and remembered what happened to her and make sure that it never happened to you." Prem said.

"What happened to her?" Khushi looked at her brothers in confusion.

She always remembered her sister being so similar to her, although they had a huge age gap, they always were so similar, she was just like her, bubbly, always happy and she believed in love crazily just like her.

She lived her life always being happy and nothing really seemed wrong, and then she met with the car accident and passed away.

The four of them accepted it and tried to move on with it, it had been almost seven years now since she passed away, of course they all remembered her and loved her, but anytime they would talk about her, her brothers would change the topic, especially Rudra. She was his twin after all, losing her for him must have been like losing a part of himself.

Khushi was really young at that time ten or eleven years old, as she grew up she dint remember much about her, but she always knew she had a sister that passed away in a car accident and her brothers dint like talking about it because it made them sad.

Now it looked like something entirely different, they dint want to talk about it because they dint want to tell her what happened with her, what could it have been? Why didn't she know about it? Why was the truth kept from her all these years?

"She dint pass away in a car accident Khushi, she was murdered." Rudra said as he sat down on his bed while tears rolled down his eyes. Khushi looked at him with her eyes wide open unable to believe it.

How could it be possible? Why didn't they tell her that? Why did they have to lie to her that she met with an accident?

"Wh... What?"

"You heard it right Khushi... I don't know if you remember much about her but you two were pretty much the same, as you grew up, it was like growing up with Ritika, just that now we didn't have two sisters but one.

She was so obsessed with the idea of love, I think it was because of mom and dad, I mean they were always so much in love, who wouldn't believe in love after being with them right?" Arjun said.

Khushi just nodded as she waited for them to continue telling her about Ritika and everything that happened with her.

"I remember, we were in high school when she met this cute little shy guy, he was like the perfect match for her, he was so shy he wouldn't even talk to her." Rudra said as he travelled back in time, reminiscing all those memories.

"Then what happened?" Khushi asked.

"She fell in love." Prem said.

"Everything was like a fairytale for her and we all were so happy for her, we also wished to fall in love like her someday and the guy really seemed perfect, I mean he looked like a good guy, and all we wanted was for our sister to be happy.

They started dating, they would go out on dates and sometimes we would also go along with her, it was just so beautiful, seeing how happy she was..." Arjun continued.

"And then one day... everything changed." Rudra sighed as he stood up and walked towards Khushi, he looked her into the eyes seriously.

At this moment she felt really scared and nervous, she wasn't even sure if she wanted to know what happened, what if it was going to break her? What was going to happen to Arnav and her relationship once she found out the truth?

She looked towards Arnav who stood beside Krystle nervously looking at her, as soon as she looked at him, he smiled slightly and nodded trying to assure her everything was going to be okay, even though he was scared as hell himself, it was pretty cute.

"Apparently that little shy guy wasn't really as shy and as good as we all thought he was, his job was to literally act all cute and shy, trap girls and then go sell them away. He was a part of a gang and carried on this huge racket of trafficking.

So one evening, as usual Ritika left for a dinner date with him and never returned back home. We all looked for her, tried to find her even went to the police station but there was no news.

The guy too had just disappeared like that, we even went where he lived but he had vacated the house and left, we all had trusted him Khushi, just no Ritika, neither of us were able to see behind the mask he was wearing." Rudra said sadly.

"I remember... I kept asking where Ritika was and you told me she had gone out of town with her friends." Khushi said as some of the blur memories came back in her mind.

"Well you were just a child, we dint want to ruin your innocent childhood Khushi." Arjun cupped her face and looked at her for a moment as he pulled her into a tight hug.

"Two weeks later, the police found her dead body." Rudra said as his voice trembled, Khushi looked at him in complete shock.

"Apparently the guy and the gang had kidnapped her and tried to sell her off and somehow she managed to escape but, in the chase, she was shot dead and then they dumped her body off which the police found." Rudra fell down on his knees as he broke down completely, Khushi looked at the three brothers of her who were now crying. She had never seen any of them crying.

"We dint know how to tell you Khushi, so we just told you it was an accident, we dint want to make things difficult for you." Arjun said.

"That's why we have been so against you talking to any guy or even dating one Khushi. We know that not every guy out there is like that, we know there are good guys too, but we couldn't take the chances Khushi.

We had already lost our sister to a guy who pretended to be so good, we couldn't even see behind the mask he was wearing, how could we expect you to see whether a guy was really good or pretending to be good?

We dint want to lose our only sister Khushi, I know our rule was harsh and you dint deserve it but we are selfish, we love you and we would die if anything wrong happened to you." Rudra said as he pulled her into a hug.

The truth was so shocking, Khushi dint even know how to react, all these years she thought that her sister had passed away in an accident, little did she know that she was murdered.

"Why dint you tell me the truth when I grew up? When I started questioning your rules a lot, why wouldn't you just tell me the reason? Do you know how easy it would have made things between us if you three would have just told me the freaking truth? I wouldn't have to question why you were so against me falling in love or talking to boys, I wouldn't have to hide all this from you.

Maybe I might be poor at judgement, I haven't seen life as much as you three have but don't you think if you would have told me the truth I would be careful?

I would come to you three for advices, I would keep you informed about the guys I was talking to and you would even get a background check and everything done on them.

When it happened to Ritika, you all were young, it was hard to judge for you and for her, but now you all were grown up, even if I couldn't judge well at least you would.

"You know hiding the truth from me wasn't doing me any good, because hey look I managed to date a guy behind your back. Arnav isn't bad but what if he had turned out to be bad? Who would be responsible for it? Me? Because I am a stupid teenager and I just couldn't judge properly, but at least if you wouldn't have been so strict with me, I would have told you about Arnav, and you would know how to judge better than me." Khushi said.

"Now you know the truth right, you have to break up with him. You can't date anyone until you're grown up enough." Prem said.

"Are you out of your mind Prem? I can't just break up with him like that! I love him! And now you three know, you can find out everything you want to about him and be sure, but I am not breaking up with him!" Khushi said angrily as she walked towards Arnav, grabbed his hand and pulled him away with her.

"Seriously Prem! This is not how you deal with a teenager." Rudra said as he followed Khushi.

"Hey we all have been dealing with her and nothing seemed to work out our way." Prem said in his defense.

"Because we have been wrong, you know she is right. We should have told her the truth, it was way easier for her to follow our rules if she knew why they were imposed at the first place. We're just lucky that this Arnav guy hasn't harmed her like Ritika was harmed by her boyfriend." Arjun shrugged as he walked towards Krystle and stopped in front of her.

"You knew about them didn't you?" He asked her.

"Yeah, but it wasn't my story to tell Arjun." Krystle said.

"Well it wasn't your story to keep either, you were an adult Krsytle, you knew if we had a rule for her it was for a reason and you being my girlfriend, I expected you to inform me rather than trying to hide my sister's secrets from me."

"Someone else has questions to answer too." Prem said as he walked out dialing Suman's number on his phone.

It was like one moment their lives were all so perfect and now the next moment everything was upside down.
