"I should get going now, before my brothers come searching for me." Khushi said as she pulled apart from the kiss, she dint feel like leaving yet, but she knew how her brothers could act if she was late.

"Umm... okay." Arnav smiled, he was clearly left breathless from the kiss it took him a moment to catch his breath back.

"I'll drop you to Suman's place and then she can drop you home." Arnav smiled as he held her hand and led her outside the place.

"What about all this, who will take care of it?" Khushi asked looking towards the arrangements he had made.

"Don't worry, everything has been planned, now let's get you home before your brothers murder me." He laughed. He unlocked the car that was parked outside and led Khushi to it.

"Since when do you have a car?" Khushi asked as she looked at him curiously.

"It's my aunt's, I borrowed it." He laughed.

"Oh I thought you came with a taxi or something."

"that was my initial plan but then I realized it's a night date and I cant drop you home in a taxi, it's not very safe, so I managed to convince my aunt to let me drive her car, Shaina was a bit of help in convincing too." He smiled.

"Aww, that's so sweet, you think so much about me."

"I have to, I love you." Arnav smiled as he pulled her into a hug, they both held on for a while until they were disturbed by the sound of a car screeching, they turned around and saw a car heading towards them and in then stopped a few feet away from them, before they could realize what was happening, the door opened up and Arjun stepped out of the car.

Khushi looked at him in shock her heart beating so fast, how did Arjun even come here? Was he following her or something? But he was on a date with Krystle.

"What did I just see Khushi?" Arjun asked angrily, almost pouncing over Arnav, but Khushi came in front of him and stopped him at the right time.

"Were you following me or something?" Khushi asked as she saw Krystle walk out of the car and she looked at Khushi worriedly, mouthing a sorry towards her, Khushi dint even know why she was saying sorry.

"We were on our way back home and then I saw you, Krystle tried to convince me it's someone else but I knew it was you." Arjun looked at her angrily, he was so angry, she had broken the only rule they had for her.

"So this is the guy for whom you'd lie to your brothers, how dare he talk to you let alone hug you? You better stay the hell away from my sister!" Arjun grabbed Arnav by the collars almost punching him when Krystle came rushing in to stop him.

"Arjun stop! You can't beat him up just because he was talking to your sister, that isn't a crime!" Krystle said, he stopped and stared at Arnav angrily for a moment and then pushed him away, Arnav seemed really terrified.

"So this was why you were pushing us to date so that you also could date?" Arjun looked at Khushi once again.

"It's not her fault, she just..." Arnav rushed to defend Khushi who looked at him worriedly, this guy obviously seemed terrified of Arjun yet he was running to her rescue, who could love her better than him?

"I dint push you because of that reason, I did because you and Prem were literally stupid not being able to see the girls that love you, I just showed things to you." Khushi replied.

"I don't care Khushi, you were told to do one thing, one damn thing! To stay away from guys, we let you do everything else, so why wouldn't you listen to us just for once?" Arjun asked.

"Because I don't need your permission to fall in love Arjun! I love him and that's fact that you cant change."

"You love him? You are just a kid, you don't even know what love is." Arjun laughed sarcastically.

"I am not a kid anymore Arjun, and you brothers of mine for once should stop looking at me like I'm a ten-year-old, I am not, I am a grown up, I can make my own decisions. You see your reaction? That was the reason why I couldn't tell you guys, you wouldn't understand me." Khushi said sadly.

"How long has this been going on?" Arjun asked.

"What would it change?" Khushi asked.

"Answer me Khushi, how long has this been going on?" Arjun looked at her seriously.

"One year." Khushi replied nervously, she was just nervous and worried for Arnav, but she wasn't scared of her brother, she never had been scared of any of them actually.

"What? One... one freaking year? And we had no idea about it? Oh my God Khushi, you're making me so mad! You know what, I can't... I can't deal with you on my own. How about we go home and tell Rudra and Arjun how you've been breaking our trust? Let's get into the car, come on!" He ordered. Khushi just stared at him blankly having no idea what was going to happen from here onwards.

"You should go home Arnav." She looked towards Arnav.

"he isn't going anywhere, he's coming home with us, we'll deal with the both of you there." Arjun said as he grabbed Arnav and literally pulled him to the car, he opened the door pushed him inside and shut the door and then he looked towards Krystle and Khushi who immediately rushed to the car also.

Arjun parked the car outside the mansion, and rushed out as he opened the back door, grabbed Arnav's hand and dragged him along inside, Khushi ran behind him worriedly hoping they weren't going to hurt him.

"I am so sorry Khushi, I really tried to distract him, it just dint work." Krystle whispered to her.

"It's okay, it's not your fault." Khushi said as she ran faster trying to catch up with Arjun.

"Rudra! Prem! Come downstairs right away!" Arjun shouted at the top of his voice and the next moment both her brothers were heading downstairs looking sleepy and confused.

"What's going on?" Rudra asked.

"Why are you making so much noise at this time of the night, we were asleep." Prem said.

"Well then wake up, and look at what our sister has been doing behind our back. She has a boyfriend and apparently they have been together for one year!" Arjun said as he turned to look at Khushi angrily once again.

"And this is the guy." He grabbed Arnav once again and pushed him towards Rudra.

"Enough!" Khushi said angrily as she walked towards Arnav, grabbed his hand and pulled him aside.

"You can't toss him around like he's a football, he is a human being, whatever issue you have are with me, I am the one that broke the rule so stop punishing him for it!" Khushi said angrily, she had had enough of her brothers acting stupidly with Arnav.

"Wait, isn't this the guy that like Suman. Or was that a lie? Now I see, I always had a doubt on you, he wasn't interested in Suman he was interested in you!" Prem said.

"You've met him before?" Rudra asked.

"Yes, he studies in the same college with them, I saw them once or twice and Khushi lied to me that he was talking to Suman and not her, I knew I shouldn't have believed her."

"So you do the only thing we told you not to and then you have the audacity to stand here and defend him." Rudra asked her.

"Yes, I am the one that did it, the rule was for me, not for him. This conversation should be between us four, why drag him in between?"

"Because he is as much responsible as you are, he lured you into his trap!" Prem said.

"What the hell is wrong with you? Why do you think he would lure me into a trap, he loves me." Khushi said, why were her brothers acting so crazy?

"I wont spare this guy!" Prem said as he paced towards Arnav and Khushi tried to stop him but he wouldn't listen, why weren't they all thinking logically? She was feeling so frustrated.

"Stop it! Stop it! So just because I date a guy you would beat him up? Who even gave you the right to do so?" Khushi shouted at the top of her voice.

"You knew this was going to happen, it's your fault Khushi!" Rudra said.

"No! It's not my fault its your fault, you three overprotective brothers of mine, you wouldn't let me even talk to a guy let alone dating one, the only reason I hid it from you was because I knew you would react this way.

Do you realize if you hadn't been so strict about it to me, I would have actually told you everything? So why the hell punish Arnav for anything, the fault is yours not his."

"So for this one year old boyfriend of yours you will go against your brothers than have been there for you always and loved you and taken care of you?"

"Yes I will, if you're going to lay your hands on him I'll do anything I can to stop it!"

"Seriously Khushi, where did we fail in bringing you up that you have to stand against us, that too for this guy you met yesterday?" Arjun asked.

"Just because I am standing with Arnav doesn't mean I am standing against you. Why cant you just for once try and understand me. I am fed up okay, I really am. I don't even get the logic behind you anger, why are you so angry that I am dating a boy? It's normal, everyone does that so why is it wrong because I do it?" Khushi asked sadly.

"You want to know why? I'll tell you why!" Prem said as he grabbed her hand and started pulling her upstairs.

"Prem no!" Both Arjun and Rudra said at the same time.

"It's enough, she has to know or else she wont ever understand, she will always think we are her enemies, so I will give her all the answers, come on Khushi, you need answers, I'll give them to you." Prem said as he continued pulling her along with him.
