Mery calmly waited for Jim and Toby at a small grass field, the two boys noticed Mery after they dropped their bikes.

Jim: What the- Mery? How did you-

Mery: I grew up with three brothers. One who does this kind of stuff so much, that I had to put a tracking device on him.

Toby: You put a tracking device on one of your brothers. . . Which one? Is it Pedro? I bet it's Pedro.

Mery:  . . .  Okay, it is Pedro. But it's not the kind of tracking device you humans use, it's a Fox-cat tracking device it's a lot harder to find and a lot harder to get a hold of.

The three stared down at the building that Toby's tracker had lead to. Mery then smacked the two boys on the back of their heads to get their attention as she saw something.

Toby: Ow. Not cool, Mery.

Jim: Ow! What was that-

Mery: Look. Goblins at moonrise.

Mery pointed to the circular roof of the museum, Goblins climbing into the small entryway of the decorated roof.

Toby: The museum. We should have known.

The three then see a black Fox-cat climb into the small entryway with the goblins.

Mery: Oh, great. That punk again.

Toby: Again? Wait, is that...

Mery: The Fox-cat that I fought last night? Yes. Black Fox-cats with gray eyes are believed to bring bad luck. I don't fully believe it but...

Jim: Let's go tell the others.

Toby: ( gasps ) Get down!

Toby pushes Jim and Mery behind a bush in its safe cover as he follows.

They pop their heads over the bushes to find Mrs. Nomura entering the building on which they spied on.

Jim: It's the museum lady.

They dropped back down behind the large weed.

Toby: She has no idea it's infested and that black gray eyes Fox-cat is in there. At any moment, they could strike! Or worse the goblins lay eggs in her ears.

Mery: ( to Toby: ) Goblins don't do that, estúpido.

Jim: Anyway, we need to get her out of there immediately.

Toby: Good idea, but cover your ears.

Mery: ( sighs in annoyance ) Estoy rodeada de idiotas.

Toby: What did she-

Jim: Don't worry about it. Let's go.

Mery turned into a Fox-cat as she and the two Trollhunters head to the doors, Toby was covering his ears. Mery knew that was door wasn't going to open, so, as Jim and Toby were trying to open the door, Mery retracted her claws and used them to cut a perfect circle in the glass of a window with a mischievous smile. She was about to go open the door for the boys, but she then saw the boys go into the building through a window, Jim helped Toby, who was struggling with the plan of the window.

Mery: ( sighs ) I should've seen this coming.

Little did Mery or the Trollhunters know, that Blake, aka the black gray eyes Fox-cat was watching their every move and followed them from within the shadows.

Jim: Jeez, this place gives me the creeps with the lights out.

Toby: It was better when you could see the Neanderthals.

Mery: Meh. It looks pretty much the same to me, because of my night vision and all.

Toby: Lucky.

Mery: ( smiles ) I know.

The three head off, drops of green drool drops behind them without notice, the nest of sleeping Goblins had laid above their heads the whole time. Blake continued following them from within the shadows. Jim and Toby push open another door in search of Nomura, Mery calmly walked ahead of the boys with serious expression. With fear and complete cringe of a dark museum, Toby groaned, taking a dislike to the situation. The three stop at another door after crossing a large hallway. Blake was still following the trio from within the shadows, he was mainly watching Mery and Jim.

Jim: Okay, what do we say? And by we, I mean me and Toby, Mery, because animals don't talk. If we scare her, the goblins and that black Fox-cat might find us.

Mery glared at Jim slightly.

Toby: How about we're art lovers and we just couldn't wait to see the new exhibits?

Jim: We're from the gas company. The door was open and we smelled a leak. And Mery is our mascot, um, Mittens-

Mery: Mittens?! Excuse me, do I look like a " Mittens " to you? Uh-huh, you call me Mittens I'm leaving your butts here with the goblins and that black Fox-cat.

As Mery was talking, Toby looked past the barrier, finding the woman they were meant to save, holding a circular dark object, spikes of green on every outer inch of it. She hums a tune as she disappears from view, yet, her shadow still revealing everything. Blake quickly knew what Toby saw when Toby screamed. Mery then noticed Toby's behavior and scratched Jim's leg a little to get his attention as he was said something about uniforms.

Jim: Ow, Mery- ( to Toby: ) Hey, what's with you?

Toby: ( stammering ) The face...

Jim: Chill out, Tobes.

Mery: You're going to wake the goblins.

Jim massaged Toby's shoulder, hoping it would ease Toby's fear as the Goblins that rested in the nest were all in rest except for one that woke to the fresh scent of fear. Blake watched as Jim and Mery were trying ease Toby's fear, mostly Jim.

Toby: ( stammering ) Her fa- the face it's so ugly!

Jim: Okay, okay. So, she's not your type. You don't have to be rude about it.

As Jim spoke, he caught a moving figure in the corner of his eye, finding the figure of the awoken goblin, sniffing. Confirming the smell is close, the Goblin stood, speaking his language. Jim raises an eyebrow before rolling to a safer cover from the Goblin as Mery followed his lead and Toby crawled with them. Mery silently gasped as she saw that Toby was whimpering and was clearly afraid. Blake watched from the shadows with slight amusement.

Mery: ( to Toby: ) You're going to lead them right to us.

Toby: She's a monster, guys! I saw her face! It wasn't normal! She's, like, some sort of troll-

Jim: What?

Toby: but one of us. Like a weird half-breed thing, man.

Mery: ( turned to Toby, with a raised brow ) And what's wrong with half-breeds exactly?

Toby: Nothing, nothing at all. I didn't mean anything bad about half-breeds like you, Mery, I just-

Mery: How about you stop talking, Toby.

Jim: Maybe it was just the lighting.

Toby: The lighting?

The Goblin sniffed around the floor, cutting closer and closer to the two humans and small Fox-cat. He sniffed the post as Jim, Mery, and Toby were pressed against the wall, Toby covering his ears. Jim covered Toby's mouth, hiding the heavy breathing as the Goblin took a few deep breaths before running off in another direction. Jim and Mery let out a sigh of relief. Suddenly, Toby's phone vibrated, tickling Toby, he pulled out his phone and it began making noise.

Toby: ( gasps )

Mery: ( blankly: ) And we're dead.

Jim: Turn it off, turn it off, turn it off!

Toby: I'm trying, I'm trying! - But I won the cooler.

Mery glared at Toby while Jim sighed and gave Toby with a look of " Seriously " as the newly discovered creature appears behind them, her head hanging over Jim's shoulder. Blake walked out from the shadows as he watch with his ears pinned back to his head.

Nomura: ( cackling ) I knew I detected the stink of teenage flesh.

The two boys let out a scream and Jim picked up Mery as they ran into the forbidden area, as Nomura and Blake smoothly walked in. Mery quickly jumped out of Jim's grasp and glared at the black gray eyed Fox-cat in front of her, Blake was slightly hurt by the look of hate in Mery's glare but he knew that she didn't know it was him and that they were on opposite sides.

Nomura: But a human Trollhunter that I've never tasted.

Mery hissed at Nomura and Blake, with her fur standing up. Nomura's claws cut closer to the boy's flesh, but without warning, Jim held out the amulet.

Jim: Then let's see how you like the taste of Daylight.

Toby: That was a good one, Jimbo!

Mery: You boys deal with Purple skin. I'll deal with Gray eyes.

Transforming into his armor, Jim stood with courage, the Changeling and Blake's eyes grew as they watched. With a couple of swings of his sword, Jim swung at Nomura while Mery pounced at Blake, yet Nomura's quick hands caught his sword between her palms as she lets out an evil cackle and Blake jumped out of the way from Mery's attempt to attack him, and he grabbed the hood of her hoodie and pinned her to the ground with one paw with a blank expression.

Nomura: ( cackles ) I knew I detected the stink of teenage flesh.

Jim: What are you?

Nomura: I'm what kills you. Blake, finish the girl.

As Jim was fighting Nomura and Toby was trying to get his tracker back from a Goblin, Mery kicked Blake off her and stood up on her paws.

Mery: ( to Blake: ) Blake, huh? Makes sense, because the name " Blake " means black or pale. Your parents must've really not like you if they named you after the color of your fur.

Mery then began attacking Blake with her claws out, he kept dodging and blocking her attacks. Blake was trying to avoid hurting Mery without raising suspicion from Nomura. Mery continued attacking Blake until she saw Jim holding his sword up as a shield from Nomura.

Nomura: ( to Jim: ) This was fun. Now, you're history.

Nomura kicked Jim's sword from his hands as she walked closer to Jim causing Toby and Mery to watch with fear far behind them.

Mery: No!

Mery tried to run to save Jim, but Blake held her back by holding the hood of her hoodie.

Mery: No! Let go of me! Stay away from him, you witch!

Blake continued to hold Mery back as she struggled to escape his grasp on her hood.

Nomura: ( to Jim, ignoring Mery's words: ) All that fancy armor and you're just a scared little boy.

Nomura readied her swords, about to take the kill as Jim spotted the Goblin leader between her legs. Blake turned his eyes away, as he didn't want to watch Nomura take Jim's life. Jim crouched, grabbed the edge a blanket.

Jim: Arrogance gets you killed!

Jim pulls the large banner from underneath Nomura's feet, tripping her. As Nomura had no control over herself as she flipped through the air, her eyes caught the leader of the Goblins standing beneath her, frozen in fear and shock. Mery smiled happily as she knew what the Trollhunter had set Nomura up to do and what he meant by " Arrogance gets you killed", Nomura lets out a scream and Blake stood there in shock, letting go of Mery's hood.

Nomura: No!

The Goblin leader screams. Nomura's purple body was marked with colors of green as the puddle slime was a clear fact that she had murdered the leader. The marker rolled to another Goblin, his eyes wide in realization as well before he gathered himself up and glared at Nomura.

Mery: ( cutely wave bye at Nomura with her paw ) Bye bye, witch.

Nomura: No, no!

Nomura stood straight as the Goblin simple drew the mustache lines and raised his fist, calling out once more which caused his two followers to do the same. The Goblins began to chant " Waka Chaka " before they jumped to Nomura, taking her down.

Nomura: No, it wasn't me! No! No!

Nomura was cornered against the crates, all the Goblins finally present as they continue to attack her. Toby took a photo in shock and Mery watched with a smile as Jim pulled his friends' from the mess.

Jim: Let's get out of here!

Toby screamed as he saw that the black gray eyed Fox-cat stood in front of the trio, Blake's ears were pinned back, and Mery was about to attack him when Blake walked away from them and went to help Nomura. The two boys and the Fox-cat left the museum, Toby still letting out a scream as they run to the bikes, the boys quickly picking them up and slipped on their helmets, Jim picked the small Fox-cat Mery, before leaving the area.

Mery: ( to Jim: ) Must you pick me up like I'm some kind of pet?

Jim: ( under his breath: ) Your kind the size of one in this form.

Mery: Excuse me?!

Toby: Holy, what the?! Her face! Did you?

Jim: And that bridge! There were troll markings on it.

Mery: And that black Fox-cat just let us go.

They skidded to a stop in the middle of the street as Toby fell off his bike, face-planting on the cement as he had no breath nor energy to hold him upwards.

Toby: Bridge? Black Fox-cat? Who cares? There's a shapeshifting troll witch!

Jim: They're walking among us, Tobes! They can be anyone!

Mery: We need to tell Blinky and Aaarrrgghh.

Before they could even head in the direction of Trollmarket, red and blue suddenly had lit Jim and Toby's faces, the wails of sirens greeted their ears as fear bubbled up inside them.

Mery: ( whispers to Jim and Toby: ) I'll meet you guys later.

Mery quickly made a break for it as soon after the two boys gave her a slight nod in agreement, and ran as far as she could from the scene. As she was halfway from Trollmarket and turned human, she bumped into something.

Mery: Ow! Watch where you're go- Oh!

Mery looked up and saw Blaze ( aka Blake in human form ), and quickly stood up with a nervous smile.

Mery: ( nervously: ) Oh, hey, Blaze. What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at home or something that normal Human teens do?

Blake: I was just having a moonlight walk, wanna join me?

Mery: ( blushes ) I would...but, uh, I have to go home and take care of my brothers, those three rascals. Um, bye!

Mery quickly ran away from Blake with a blush on her face, making Blake chuckle. Blake then pulls out his phone and calls Strickler.

Blake: ( says with a smile: ) Hey, Strickler. Mind if we pick up my " friends " from the station?
