"What do we talk about?"

You roll your eyes

and remind me

that I'm trying too hard.

Conversations flow naturally but I still wanted to think of what I'd say next, what conversation is good to keep up so we don't keep drowning in silence.

"You don't need to think," you say.

Maybe I just didn't want to bore you. Maybe I didn't want you to forget our conversations.

I never want to be the person who didn't have anything to say.

I don't want to be someone you'll forget.
