"Po... are you feeling okay?" Lithuania inquired with concern as his friend glared at the surface on the table. They were currently at another world meeting and Poland had not said a word the entire time. It didn't take someone who was once married to Poland to know that that was extremely out of character for him.
"Yep." The blonde stated simply, though his eyes narrowed as he spoke.
Lithuania glanced over at Latvia, who returned the look with sad blue eyes. Even Estonia, who had recently been accepted into the Nordics clan, was watching the eastern nation with concern.
"What's his problem?" A harsh voice asked, and both Latvia and Lithuania jumped as Belarus spoke, glaring at Poland, and then at the two of them.
"I have no clue. He won't tell me. He's been like this for a month now." The Baltic explained breathlessly.
Russia, who was close by the other Eastern European nations, looked at Poland with a sympathetic expression. "I believe I know what has happened to little Feliks." Poland's jaw locked, but he said nothing.
"What happened, Big Brother?" Belarus asked eagerly, looking up to Ivan with wide eyes.
"The little state, Michigan, has stop coming around." Russia said slowly, watching Poland. Guilt swam in his green irises, and he covered his mouth as if to keep from crying out. "Something happened between her and her country, America. She no longer interacts with the nations, or any of the other states and provinces for that matter."
"Really?" Lithuania asked in surprise. "Wow... so that's why Alfred has been acting so funny lately."
"She just... disappeared?" Latvia squeaked.
"Da, the last time I saw her was when she dropped off her little puppy at comrade Matthew's house." Russia explained. "The dog is miserable without his owners, but even America doesn't visit; he cannot look at the dog without getting emotional."
"That's awful." Lithuania muttered, before his eyes trailed back over to Poland. The blonde was no longer paying any attention to the conversation surrounding him. He was glaring venomously across the room, and Lithuania followed the gaze to America, who was watching the Slav with disdain and anger. "Something tells me we're missing a big chuck of the story."
