{Gajeel's POV}

"I swear I didn't do anything to Juvia." Gray raised his hands and backed away from us. He was getting a little annoyed now. We've been accusing him for harassing Juvia. "I respect girls." He added.

"Really, huh?" Natsu chortled. "Don't worry, I support the GrUvia baby." We all burst into fits of laughter.

Gray rolled his eyes at Natsu. "Lucy never had a crush on you, anyway." Poor Natsu, being dissuaded by Gray. We'll never know, Natsu might like Lucy again.

"What, do I look like I care?" I could feel another fight about to pop up here. Jellal and I both shook our heads and went out of Gray's bedroom.

"Really?!"

"Congratulations!"

"You're blessed with a nice voice, no wonder."

What could the girls be talking about? I could tell that Levy was the topic because she was the only one who wasn't speaking. Her face was flushed too, probably from embarrassment.

Embarrassment? Wait a minute. Does she already have someone she likes? Woah, I didn't know she's taking a liking on a guy already. Wait, but what about the congratulations? Does Levy already have a boyfriend? Well, shocking news.

I wonder why I wasn't that happy for her. I wonder why I couldn't muster up the courage to congratulate her.

"I... I better get ready." Levy said with determination in her voice. For her date? First date, if I may conclude?

"We'll help you prepare!" Lucy grinned and hauled Levy all the way to her room.

"So, are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Jellal asked.

I nodded at him. "Yeah. She has a date today."

Jellal's eyes widened. "What? No! You don't really know, dude?" I shook my head at him. "She has a—"

"Already heard the news!" Gray and Natsu exclaimed in unison. News? That she has a date? Well, yeah.

"Let's secretly watch her, all right?" Natsu enthusiastically jumped around.

I shot them a warning look. "Uhh, should we respect her—or should I rather say their—privacy?"

Gray looked bewildered. "Their? What are you talking about?"

"She's with him, doofus." Jellal chuckled. I told you. It was a date. "And by the way, privacy? Dude, it's a gig. They're performing publicly. You know Levy's gonna sing. She's gonna sing Japanese songs, hehe. This is your chance. You should cheer her on."

Chance? Seriously, I don't know what he's talking about. I sighed. "What are we going to do?"

"Watch and support of course, duh." Erza came to us, speaking like everything was palpable. She grinned at me devilishly. "Especially you, Mr. Gajeel Redfox. You should give the greatest support to Levy."

I jabbed my thumb towards myself. "Me? Why me? I'm not that special to her." I was once, actually.

They all rolled their eyes. What? I didn't do anything. "You were once her greatest bestfriend, so you have to support her." Somehow, I could feel sarcasm in their voice.

"Then I'll support her." I replied.

"♪Forever here...♪"

I stared at Levy who was singing onstage. She really had a nice voice. I didn't see her practicing for something like this. If she didn't practice, then she's blessed. I never heard her singing when we were kids, so this was new for me.

"Go Levy!! Kyaaa! The girls were gushing and pointing at Levy for her nice voice... and for something else I don't know and don't care about.

"Oh, he's gonna be up there!!" Juvia giggled. For some reason, Gray's eyebrows furrowed. "He's so handsome! Kyaaa~!! Lucky Levy!" Natsu was a little unlucky because he was shook by Juvia crazily.

I could see Levy blushing from my seat. It irritated me... and I don't know why.

Now, as she sang, her voice quivered. The people still liked it, and Natsu and Lucy just smiled up at Levy. I was so confused. They were supposed to be scrutinizing her by now, but I wonder why they weren't. Or is it just me that noticed it? I focus too much on Levy. I shouldn't.

"Woo! You go Levy! We love you! We're your die hard fans! Your number one fans!" Two boys cheered with a standing ovation and they applauded with proud grins. It really was obvious that they were her die hard fans because they were the only ones that did a standing ovation.

I looked at Levy who sheepishly waved at them and gave them a small smile. She looked cute...

I became alarmed as soon as the girls stood up in their seats and crushed Levy with their hugs. I rolled my eyes at them. Girly things. If Levy was a boy, we boys are gonna be the ones who will stand up and give bro fists.

"Congratulations!"

"Amazing performance!"

"You rocked, girl!"

I heard Levy mumble a small thanks.

"Well, I envy you. That guy you were with was super hot! I wish I was the one who was invited!" Lucy nudged Levy. "Lucky you." I fought the urge to stand up and knock down a chair.

"Come to think of it, I think they suit each other." Erza's eyes gleamed with excitement.

"You guys can start dating!" My ears perked up at what Juvia had blurted out. I... disagree to that. But why? Why do you disagree to that, Gajeel?

Natsu, Gray and Jellal stood up. "Congrats li'l sis."

Levy hugged them as a sign of thanks, I guess. What about me? Don't I get a hug? Woah, woah. Where did that thought come from?

I could feel six pairs of eyes on me and a tensed atmosphere. "He's the worst." I heard someone from them murmur with dismay.

Maybe they were expecting my congratulations.

I was grateful it was dark because I was blushing. "Uh, congratulations, Shrimp."

Lucy crossed her arms. "Way to ruin it, Gajeel. Way to ruin it."

What? I didn't do anything.

Levy shot me icy daggers and strode away from me. She didn't thank me and didn't give me a hug? Okay... maybe not the hug. But couldn't have she thanked me at least?

"Confused?" Jellal inquired. "Shrimp." My head shot up as I remembered what I had just called her. Partly, it was my fault.

"Guys, I have it tomorrow, too..." Levy announced, making everyone shocked and noisy except me.

"So, will he be there again?" Erza sighed dreamily and giggled.

Jellal rolled his eyes. "Stop gushing over the guy." He told the girls. "He wasn't that handsome like us, anyway." He murmured. I was the only one who heard that, thank goodness. If the girls heard that, Jellal might as well just get ready for his coffin.

The girls didn't seem to mind Jellal, and they kept babbling nonsense. "His cute eyes are melting me!"

"I know right!"

"So Levy, is he gonna be there again?" I focused my attention on Levy who was now all fidgety. She nodded sheepishly which annoyed me. I walked all the way upstairs to my bedroom without anybody noticing, not even the boys.

I laid down on my bed and decided that I should take a nap. It was 12 midnight already. By now, I should be eating a midnight snack, but I guess won't be having one tonight.

A few moments later, I heard some noise outside my door which I perceived to be the boys' noise. Disturbed, I sat up on my bed and clicked my phone open. I listened to some music which made me feel relaxed.

I don't know what got into me, but I went to open the gallery which had lots of pictures, courtesy by Natsu. But a picture caught my attention. It was a picture of Levy, and probably it's a selfie of hers. How did it get into my phone? But I must admit, I like her here.

"Dude what the fudge. You're in love?"

"Sh*t." I nearly dropped my phone in panic. I quickly locked it and gave him an evil glance. "What do you want?"

Gray grinned. "You like what you saw?" I stared at him, half-bewildered and half-irritated. "Levy?" I threw him a pillow as I felt my face heat up. Why did I even stare at her picture?

"Not." I crossed my arms defiantly. "I was actually looking through our pictures in here. Look, it's Juvia." It was now my turn to smirk at him. He tried his best to look nonchalant, but a little side of him showed he's flustered.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever." He went out my room quickly. Well, that was fast.

I then went back to the picture of Levy and stared at it. Good night.

I woke up to the pillow that crashed my face. "What the fudge?"

"Natsu says wake up. It's five in the afternoon. Who the heck sleeps that long?" The pink headed boy grinned childishly at me.

"Like I care. Leave me alone." I laid back on my bed and covered my head with a blanket.

He grabbed the blanket and I glared at him. "It's Levy's second night of her gig."

I rolled my eyes to this. "So?"

"Attend, dude. Moral support?" He said with a 'duh' tone. I shook my head. I was still sleepy. "It's not because you're sleepy that you don't want to attend, right?" He sat on my bed. "It's because of a certain reason." I pretended that I didn't hear him. "Levy?"

My ears perked up. "Huh? What are you talking about?" I mean, I don't know. Why was Levy involved here? Okay, maybe she was, but that's another issue we're talking about.

"... and the guy?" Silence enveloped us, and the atmosphere kept me quiet and in deep thought. Levy and the guy. "First things first." He clasped his hands and he stood up. "Buy flowers."

A little bit longer...

I sat bored at the VIP place as I listened to the guy and Levy singing.

"Woah, is Gajeel gonna court somebody now?" Jellal asked, his eyes struck with surprise. The girls turned to us, puzzled.

"Flowers?"

"What's that for?"

"I never knew you liked somebody already."

"Nice, dude."

"Congratulations!"

"Shut up, you guys." I demanded. "These are for decorations." I said sarcastically. They all calmed down and watched Levy again. They must've thought I was serious. Whatever. As long as I can remember, that was her last song. And I just have to wait until she's finished.

I looked around and found Natsu winking at me with an evil grin. Oh boy.

"Thank you, everyone." The guy with Levy said. "I guess this is our last performance here." I quirked an eyebrow as he held Levy's hand. She looked like she was about to die. "I hope you all enjoyed tonight. Thank you again!"

And that was my cue to stand up.

I went over to Levy as she climbed down the stairs with the guy escorting her. She thanked him with a low voice which made me roll my eyes. I can do that too.

When she saw me, her eyes widened. "Here you go. Congratulations. That was a wonderful performance." I said as I gave her the flowers, her mouth hanging open.
