{Juvia’s POV}

My hands are all sweaty, I feel like I want to vomit, and worst, I can't move. These are the symptoms of total nervousness. And it's not good. Right now, I'd rather eat vegetables all day than make a speech in front of many people. No. Maybe in front of the whole world.

Erza gave me a stern look. "What, you're nervous? Don't be. Keep it together. Remember, you're doing this for us. It's not only for your sake. You're also doing this for the fans around us. Around the world. Now. As I was saying, keep calm. If you're calm, you can do your speech properly."

I rolled my eyes and protested. "Why does it have to be me, anyway? Any of you would do, right? It could be Jellal. Natsu, Gray, or any of you girls. Besides, as I have said, he can do everything by himself! And, hello? Try being in my position. Announcing something as big as this and getting all the hate. Do it and tell me if you're not gonna be nervous."

"Juvia," Levy started. "It has to be you. Keep in mind, Gray considers you his best buddy in this group. He needs a partner. Heck, it will not be easy to announce something that big alone. Mavis and Zeref can do it, yes, but they're preparing for the marriage. It would be a bother to make them announce something like that when they're this busy. Hence, it's you. The only choice left. He's not really close to any of us."

"However, that was waaaaaay back then! How could you expect us to be that close again after everything that has happened? After all we've been through, I think it will never be like that again. It will never go back to the way it was. We were close. Take note of the word 'were '. Past is past, you guys." I replied.

"But Juvia, we were never close with him. You were the only ones who was close with him. Yes, it was in the past. But who cares? What matters is the present. So anyways, are you ready?" I pouted at Lucy who spoke.

"Okay, I accept defeat. Like I'd win an argument with you guys. 3 versus 1 is so unfair. And no, I don't think I'm ready about this. I'm so nervous! Seriously, it's killing me." I whined with furrowed eyebrows. I heaved a heavy sigh.

I felt several hands on my back. "You can do it!" The girls encouraged. I couldn't help but just smile at them. It's been more than ten years, and we never left each other's side. We've been strong when it comes to friendship, and I'm thankful for that. There's nothing I could ever wish for other than this.

"Anyways, where's Gray? Moreover, where are the boys? The announcing will start in thirty minutes, isn't it? They should be here now." I queried.

"He's having the last practice with the boys. Don't worry, they're gonna arrive in a few mi—"

“We’re here!” The boys shouted in chorus. I was shocked to see Gray in a tuxedo. Err, I’m in a blue cocktail dress. It’s like Gray and I are attending a party. For a speech, this is way too formal.

“A pleasant day to everyone of you who’s here, as well as the viewers and our fans.” Gray started with an unusually serious face. Well, it’s unusual for me because he gets serious rarely. “I know that the issue a few months ago will be livened up once again, seeing me with Cerulean Mermaid, but no. We are not together. We are here together because we have something very important to announce. A big news, let’s put it that way.

“And no, it’s not about our relationship, okay? It’s something more important than that. It’s all about the Elemental Boys and the Color of Girls. A problem came up, so we haven’t been active for a few months. We’ve also deleted our accounts on Instagram, Twitter, and our page on Facebook.”

It was now my turn to speak. “I know that our dear fans have missed us so much. Sorry if we haven’t been showing up lately. It’s because of this big problem we’d got. It’s a problem that needs to be solved urgently. It’s been a hassle, actually. Believe it or not, the Elemental Boys and the Color of Girls have the same problem. Shocking truth, huh?”

Gray and I simultaneously spoke, “Ladies and gentlemen, prepare for the big revelation of the news and dilemma.”

“As of now, I know you’re all very curious.” Gray continued. “This is it. So the Color of Girls and the Elemental Boys had a problem. What is it, you ask? It’s all about some engagement. The engagement of the managers of Color of Girls and Elemental Boys.”

“You might be wondering why ‘that’ is considered a dilemma. It’s because Mavis and Zeref, our managers, have to quit as our manager. We don’t want that, a palpable understatement.

“Well, there was a way. A way for them not to quit as our manager. That is, if the Color of Girls and Elemental Boys collided as a band.” Murmurs were heard all around the room after I finished my last statement. The biggest blow. I think I gave the biggest hint with that one.

Gray cleared his throat, “For now, I know you’re getting different ideas on what the big news is about. But anyways, that is the reason as to why we’ve deleted our accounts.” The murmurs got louder. It was expected.

“Hey, let us finish first,” I shushed the paparazzi. “Anywho, so this is what happened. For a few hours, we’ve thought about our decision. We’ve come up with a yes. Then, the Color of Girls and Elemental Boys have collided. Indeed, you heard it right. We have collided.

“I’d like for all of you to meet the band Eight Members. I’d announce to all of you their names in real life.” As Gray said that, the gang went in the picture. Pictures and murmurs occurred around me. “Natsu Dragneel as Fire. Lucy Heartfilia as Yellow Angel. I, Gray Fullbuster, as Ice. Juvia Lockser as Cerulean Mermaid. Erza Scarlet as Lady Scarlet. Jellal Fernandes as Air. Gajeel Redfox as Iron. Lastly, Levy McGarden as Blue Maiden.”

The paparazzi went wild now. Questions were echoing in the room. I honestly wanted to answer them, but there were so many questions I was hearing that I couldn’t even understand a single question anymore. Seriously, being popular has its perks. And the perks are not fun.

“Calm down, people.” Gray reprimanded. “Please calm down. Questions will be answered when New Year comes.” The people lowered down their voices, until there was no noise heard in the Conference Room. “Thank you for your cooperation. Anyway, this is for the fans of Color of Girls and Elemental Boys: If you guys truly are a fan of ours, then you’ll respect our decision. That’s all. Again, thank you for listening, and Merry Christmas.” he sputtered, smiling when he greeted everyone a Merry Christmas. Surely, that was a very susprising Christmas news. Oh well.

The gang, including us, went out of the Conference Room. Afraid that the paparazzi might go after us and ask us questions, we walked faster.

“Woo! I never thought that would be fast.” Levy said, fixing her jacket. Beside her was Gajeel, agreeing. Again. Nothing really changed.

Erza flashed us a genuine smile, “Who wants delivered dinner? My treat.” All of us erupted into cheers.

At least, Christmas was going to be fun. For now.

“Oops. Sorry, Natsu.” Gray made a peace sign as everybody laughed. Natsu continued scowling at Gray who was showing Natsu an apologetic look. Well, I couldn’t blame Natsu. Gray was the one to blame here.

Gray had just told us a big secret because of his fight with Natsu. Some things never change. Yes yes, they are still fighting. So anyway, he told us that Natsu had a crush on Lucy. Natsu, being the idiot he was, denied it. It was obviously true, though. It’s written all over his face. And the way he denied it was ridiculous. Gray had somehow managed to convince him to spill the truth, so in the end, Natsu forcefully admitted it. He said it was only back then, though.

As for Lucy’s reaction, she was silent. Her expression was neutral. She had a pink tint on her cheeks, which was the reason we teased her along with Natsu. We even made them sit beside each other. They exchanged quick glances and looked away after a second. Awkward! It’s cute, actually. And anybody who disagrees with me can come here so he or she could get her head split off.

In the end, we all had a good time. I don’t know about Lucy and Natsu. They were only sitting beside each other with awkward expressions and aura surrounding them. I could tell it was hard, especially for Natsu. At least, for once, Natsu shut up.

Mavis and Zeref soon joined us. Things got less awkward between Natsu and Lucy when they showed up. They got noisy again.

“Let’s decide our leader!” Lucy and Natsu said simultaneously. They glanced at each other. Well, more like glared. They were absolutely gonna fight over that one.

Few minutes later, Mavis received a call. We told her that it was okay, and that she could leave us here while she answered her phone call. She nodded, smiling as Zeref followed her to somewhere.

Mavis returned with a blank look. “Hey guys.” The chattering was cut short once we all saw Mavis. I could feel a bad news coming up.

“We have good news. Your first concert will be next month! Isn’t that great?!” Zeref announced with an ecstatic voice.
