{Lucy’s POV}

That was one heck of a concert. It was tiring yet fun and overwhelming. So far, this is the best concert for me. I should write this on my journal after we get back home. It's Erza's birthday today, and I hope she'd have more birthdays to come.

“Yay! Thanks, guys! I love you all so much!” Erza embraced us girls tightly, almost choking us. Mavis laughed nervously around Erza's strong arms. We just gave her a gift and we decided to eat somewhere else first before we could go to the airport. She was already happy with the things we planned for her.

After eating and celebrating Erza's birthday, we went to the airport and boarded up a private helicopter back to Japan. Erza, while on the helicopter, was greedily eating her strawberry shortcake. We girls decided to let her be, because if we disturbed her while she was eating a cheesecake or a strawberry cake, we'd have to find our grave stones.

A few hours later, we landed on to Japan's airport. We wore our hoodies and sunglasses (although it make us look suspicious). Grinning, we waved at Loki, our personal driver. He carried our bags, wincing when he carried Erza's fully packed bags.

When we got to our house, we all gasped when we saw two plastic bags and a small paperbag, containing a cheesecake, strawberry shortcake, and a blue phone case with a Red Hello Kitty. Mavis picked up a greeting card. My eyes widened and I frowned when I saw what was written.

I know that that gesture is just sweet. I know that by now, I must be already teasing Erza and gushing over the fact that Jellal bought her a gift. But no, I wasn't. Instead, I wasn't very happy about it.

"So, what're you gonna do about that, Erza?" I asked with crossed arms, then unlocking the front door with my key. I had a very scary face right now, probably enough to scare Erza too. But it is her own decision. Besides, the gift was given to Erza. I had no right to tell Erza to throw the gift away. Jellal's money would be wasted for nothing, too.

Erza did not answer but then picked up the gifts from Jellal, following Juvia and Levy who were playing Clash of Clans on their phones. Hm. I think I should play with them later to cool my head off.

Lady Scarlet went up to her room. I should probably give her some space. At this time, she's probably the emotional ones among us. Jellal had the impact on her because he was once his bestfriend (or maybe until now) and they have been together for so long.

Sighing, I grabbed a plastic of Lays from the cabinet and climbed upstairs to my room. I checked my phone from any messages and saw none. I grinned, opening the app Clash of Clans, and saw that I had to upgrade my army, defenses, and buildings around here or else I'd lose every clash.

Just as I was enjoying the game, I got a notification that there was someone who wanted to join our clan. The username of that person was awesome_pink001. I checked out his profile and gasped when I saw that he has so many trophies (more than what I have expected) and achievements, he has large buildings, has a good defense.... wow. I never bothered on looking at his level. I might just get super amazed. I am only at Level 77.

But I cannot approve him to join my clan even though he has reached my expectations. I still have to ask Juvia, Levy and, well, Erza. But I could not ask Erza right now. She's still probably torn, after everything that had happened.

"Lu-chan! It's time to eat!" Levy cheered, pushing the door wide open, grinning. I chuckled and followed her to the dining room.

As soon as we sat down, I spoke. "Hey, guys. Do you, by any chance, would want someone to join our clan?" Levy, Juvia and Erza looked at each other, silently asking for the approval of the other. I just ate while they continued chatting through their eyes. Juvia smiled at me, meaning their answer was a sweet yes.

"Is the guy an expert at playing COC?" Juvia asked, taking a bit of her beef steak. As a response, I brought out my phone, went to the guy's profile, and showed it to them. They were struck with surprise just like me earlier, and they immediately agreed to have him as part of the clan. Whatever his strategy was in playing, I'd definitely ask him all about it.

I went upstairs and flopped down on my bed as I made the guy officially a member of the clan. The guy quickly sent a message to the clan after I approved him to be a member.

I hesitantly typed my message: sure, no prob. how'd u make urself so strong, anyway?

I never expected him to reply quickly: hmm.. it's a secret ;) sorry, can't tell

I frowned. He was like a mysterious guy to me. Like 'A' from Pretty Little Liars. I gave up, knowing that he'll never tell his secret in becoming so strong.

Just as I was about to exit the game because I had already upgraded everything I needed, the guy sent another message to the clan: you badly wanna know my secret? I replied a 'yes' and waited for his response. it's my friends that make me strong. especially my bestfriend. I miss her already. I scowled. This guy wasn't making any sense. I'm looking for a technique or a strategy, not an inspiration. I did not reply and threw my phone over the pile of clothes I have, huffing.

I heard someone knock on the door. I told the person to come in. The door flew open, revealing Juvia, holding a phone. "Lucy, tomorrow we must go to a school. The announcement was so sudden, but no need to worry. We have nothing scheduled for tomorrow. Mavis is going with us, too... along with the Elemental Boys." Oh, not again. Not the Elemental Boys. I wish I was kinda sick right now. Or when tomorrow comes. Groaning, I rolled over to the other side of the bed, making Juvia look puzzled at me. I stared at her, a bit annoyed, and she got it. She went out of my room, shaking her head.

I was about to sleep because I was tired of this day when someone opened the door. This time, it was Levy. I had my concern up for my bestfriend the moment I saw her troubled face. Earlier, she looked so relaxed, I didn't thought that deep inside, she was facing a problem. I gestured her to sit beside me, and stayed silent so she can spill the problem. She sighed, looking at me in the eye. "I met Gajeel at Mirajane's birthday." She told me. Sigh. She was really direct to the point.

"And..? What's the problem with that?"

♪Flashback, to where Gajeel and Levy first met at Mirajane's party♪

{Levy's POV}

"Gajeel?"

"Levy?"

Everything happened so fast. He hugged me hastily, his breathing becoming hitched each passing second. He whispered, "I missed you. So much." He lets go of me, while I was completely utterless. I dragged him outside an empty hall.

I finally found my voice, so I spoke up. "Look... I hate you. You left me—us! I thought you and Jellal weren't the same as Gray and Natsu, who wouldn't leave us alone. But boy, was I wrong. You're just like them. So much for that promise of yours that you'd never leave me alone." I tried really hard to make myself look tough. Luckily, I did a good job at it... I think.

He stared at me, looking bewildered. It's like, he couldn't believe that I'd say such things. Minutes passed, and he never answered, and so I turned my back on him. I was ready to walk away when he spoke. "Right. How could you not be mad at me? I think you never missed me at all. Fine then. If that's what you want. Then I'll leave you alone." He left after that little speech of his, leaving me dumbfounded the whole night.

{Lucy's POV}

Levy sobbed, embracing me. I was really sad for her right now, and I don't know what will make her feel better right now. She hated Gajeel, yes, but he was once her bestfriend, and it's hard to let go of the fact. Even if I lend her my book, her feelings won't ever change.

"Lu? Can I... sleep in your bed for tonight?" She sniffed loudly, wiping away her tears with her bare hands. I nodded and beamed at her sadly, and after that, she fell asleep. I wasn't feeling sleepy yet, so I rummaged through the used pile of clothes and pulled out my cellphone. I played COC and checked the chatbox—and there I saw many messages sent by awesome_pink001. I frowned, ignoring the messages.

Suddenly, as I was about to exit the chatbox, the guy messaged a lot of things that are non-sense. Groaning, I checked all his messages.

awesome_pink001: hey, still there?
hello?
am I the only one who's online?
yoohoo!
this is Natsu. Natsu Dragneel.

I stopped after reading Natsu's name. It. Was. Natsu. I can't believe it. Because of my shock, I shrieked, causing Erza and Juvia to rush into my room like there was some kind of emergency. Levy woke up, screaming 'there's a fire' repeatedly before asking what happened.

"I... I'm sorry, you guys. I just fangirled over a book on Wattpad, that's all." I excused nervously, showing them a peace sign with my index finger and my middle finger. I grinned forcefully at them, and so Levy slept again and Erza and Juvia went out of my room.

Cursing, I slept beside Levy, wishing that it was all just a freaking nightmare.
