~Continuation, at Mirajane's party~

{Juvia's POV}

It's so cold in here. I think it's more comfortable outside the party hall. There's plenty of people in here, much more than our concerts. Mostly popular celebrities, singers, and dancers can be seen through the crowd.

"We're just gonna go to the restroom." Erza said, dragging Levy to where the restroom was.

"Hey, let's find a table for us." Lucy told me. Just as we were about to sit down on table number seventeen, a waiter gave me a piece of paper. It just has the number fourteen in it. Hm. Maybe this is our table number. Lucy grabbed the paper, pulling me to our designated table.

Ugh. Great. Just great. A table with the Elemental Boys. This day couldn't get any better. The boys glanced up at us, pausing from their endless chattering. Gray stared at me like he kind of recognize me. This isn't good. I gazed towards Lucy who was somewhow looking towards Fire's direction. Fire was gazing back at her, the same gaze Gray was giving me.

I just realized one thing: this is the first time I saw Gray and the boys in personal after several years. They changed a lot. The only thing that did not change was their habit of talking too much.

I cleared my throat and greeted them in a low voice so that Gray won't know that it was me. "Ehem. Hi. I guess you'd be with us for a little time." I slowly sat down with Lucy, feeling uneasy under their intense stares. Erza! Levy! We need your help! Please! Where are you two?

"Uhm... hi." I looked up to see Levy and Erza. They have a straight face. This time, Jellal and Gajeel were giving them knowing looks. Oh. No. This spells trouble.

"I think you two should probably sit down." Lucy announced, her voice deepening a bit. She knew what she should do. She must not be recognized by Natsu.

"Oh. Y-Yeah." I facepalmed mentally. Levy just had to ruin it. It was obvious that it was really her by the way Gajeel glanced at her. I hope Gajeel doesn't say anything about it.

"Good evening, my fellow guests." We heard Mirajane greeted. "Thank you for all coming here. I hope that you'll have the time of your life here in my birthday party. I have so many activities for you guys tonight that I'm sure you'll all enjoy. Maybe it's only three, but it's fun, I'd tell you that. Please wait for a few minutes for the announcement of the first activity for tonight."

After Mirajane's announcement, the people around us became noisy. All. Hm. Maybe table number fourteen is the only quiet table you could see around here. Well this is awkward. I hope Mavis was here so that the table could have a little noise. Unfortunately, she has a fever. Too bad. The Elemental Boys' Manager is not here too. Wonder why.

A waiter came, giving us a glass of iced water. I just stared silently at the glass of water. I'm not really thirsty. I frowned, standing up.

"Hey, where are you going?" Levy whispered, forehead creased. Her eyes were begging me to not leave her alone in this awkward table.

"Freshen up outside." I jabbed my thumb towards the only door of the party hall. She tugged the hem of my dress, her eyes still pleading. I sighed then took my seat once again. As I looked around the room, I can feel Gray's eyes on me, even though he's in a mask. This is making things more awkward by the minute.

"Thank you for waiting, minna!! So, for our first activity, I would like you all to stand up!" Gray's eyes were not focused on mine anymore, but were now focused on Mirajane. Thank goodness. We all stood up, anticipating the next event. "Okay. Now, please welcome, the Elemental Boys and the Color of Girls! It's a must watch showdown! Give them a round of applause!" What? A showdown?

I glanced at Erza who was now slowly walking towards the stage, smiling slightly. I stood up and followed her hesitantly along with Lucy, Levy, and the Elemental Boys.

"So here's what will happen. They will sing some songs alternately. You guys will have to vote for the better singer. Let us start with the two vocalists, Fire and Yellow Angel." Natsu and Lucy went to the center of the stage as each of them were given microphones. Natsu nodded at Lucy, telling her that she must sing first.

A song played entitled Complicated by Avril Lavigne. Lucy cleared her throat before singing.

She sang with grace and such emotions. The song fitted her timbre. She strolled around the stage, passing by Natsu who was just standing and watching her sing. I could not see his expression, especially with the mask covering his eyes. His mouth were just in a straight line, so maybe his eyes are the only key to see through his expressions.

"Hey, you think I'm next?" Erza nudged on my side nervously. She almost fell on my side. I know that singing is not a thing that she'd like to do and is used to it, so she's probably more comfortable with a drumset, holding drum sticks.

I was about to answer Erza when I noticed that Lucy was about to finish singing. "...♪you promised me I'm never gonna find you fake it. No, no, no.♪" she bowed and the audience smiled, cheered, and gave her a round of applause.

Natsu was up next. The song he was going to sing was Crush by David Archuleta.

♪I hung up the phone tonight

Something happened for the first time

Woah. I never thought that Natsu has a nice voice. Now this is going to be a hard decision for the people. I mean, they're both vocalists, and have good voices!

"Erza, let's just watch this and support Lucy." I told Erza. She nodded and cheered Lucy silently by my side.

The song finished, and as expected, they also cheered for Natsu.

Mirajane climbed up the stage, sparkling as she smiled at Natsu and Lucy. "What do you think? Who votes for Yellow Angel?" Almost all the people in the hall raised their hands, including us girls. "Who votes for Fire?" Many people also voted for Natsu, but Lucy has more votes.

"Okay then, the winner is Yellow Angel!! Congratulations!" Lucy smiled as she was congratulated by Mirajane. She felt completely victorious. Natsu was about to congratulate her but... she walked away. She's still mad.

"Next up, the two mysterious pianists: Blue Maiden and Iron!" Oh. It's Gajeel and Levy. I remembered Levy telling us that she's not that good in singing. This'll be my first time hearing her singing.

Levy nodded at Gajeel, which means Gajeel would sing first.

Nothin On You by B.O.B. feat Bruno Mars. OMG. I think I just fell in love with Gajeel's voice for a second back there. His voice was beautiful. And guess what, he could also rap! Amazing!! I didn't knew he had it in him. But no, I must cheer on Levy.

When it was Levy's turn to sing, Lucy and I gushed. She was so cute, fidgeting and standing still infront of the audiences holding a microphone. When the music played, I gasped.

Girl On Fire by Alicia Keys. Our eyes widened the moment we heard her voice. She has a nice voice! Just... wow. Even Lucy praised her for having such a nice voice. And Gajeel was beside her... and almost fell off the stage when he heard Levy's voice. The chorus was all in high notes, and surprisingly, she sang them on tune. I couldn't help but drop a jaw on her. She's amazing.

After that, it was voting time. Guess what? Levy won. Gajeel never cared about it though. After the announcing of winners, he just walked off without saying anything. But I know that he's totally gawking at Levy in his mind. I'm sure of it. *wiggles eyebrows*

"What are you gushing about?" Levy asked after she returned. She was blushing slightly, probably overwhelmed by the fact that the people thought her voice was amazing.

"Oh, nothing." I grinned, embracing her tightly and congratulating her along with the girls.

"Air and Lady Scarlet, you're up next! The two drummers who are being shipped up by so many people." Mirajane announced as Erza's cheeks burned up in embarassment. Jellal glanced at her and chuckled, and in return, Erza rolled her eyes at him, completely irritated. Jellal peered at her.

Erza cleared her throat, meaning she would be the first one to sing. She held the microphone tightly as the song played.

Hot N Cold by Katy Perry. Erza has a nice voice too. This wasn't the first time I heard her sing though. I have heard her many times, like when she's taking a bath or when she's in a good mood because something happened.

Kyaaa~! Marry You by Bruno Mars! It was like, Jellal dedicated this song to Erza! I must keep my mouth zipped from squealing and jumping around. But... I can't help it... Jellal is like, courting Erza right now. "Kyaaa~!" I squealed with a muffled voice, hiding my face behind Lucy's back.

Jellal won. I can't blame the people around here. They ship Jellal and Erza so much, that they practically fangirled and fainted in their minds because of Jellal singing beside Erza. Even Mirajane probably voted for Jellal. This'll be quite a news.

Erza returned with a face like she saw someone dying before her eyes. Obviously, she's disappointed of herself because Jellal won over her. Levy told her that it was okay, and that there was always next time.

"Last but not the least, Ice and Cerulean Mermaid!" Mirajane grinned. Oh. No. I was so busy cheering my friends up that I forgot that I, too, was going to sing. With Gray-sa—Gray, rather.

I shyly went up the stage with Gray beside me. Gray was the first one to sing, thank goodness. Oh no. Focus, Juvia. You hate Gray. He did not prevent Natsu from becoming a casanova.

It is my turn to blush. Luckily, I am wearing a mask so nobody could see that I am blushing. Except for Gray! He's so close to me, I think I'm going to die! It was like, he meant every lyrics of the song Statue by Lil Eddie. When he was done singing, of course it was my turn.

I really love the song I'm singing right now. Its title is A Thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton.

"Who goes with Ice?" Mirajane questioned, and all of the people raised their hands. Awh. I guess I'm gonna lose.

Mirajane chuckled. "Who goes with Cerulean Mermaid?" Woah. All the people raised their hands! I didn't think that my voice was good. Average, maybe. Anyways, I'm glad they liked it! Wait. Gray and I have the same votes which means...

"There you have it, folks! We have a tie! Give both the guitarists a round of applause!!" Mirajane almost shouted, exciteness clear in her voice.

I returned to the girls with an embarassed smile. I should've been a better singer like Lucy and Levy.

"You're a good singer, don't ya worry." Erza tapped my shoulders reassuringly, as if reading my mind. I smiled and nodded at her. After that, we all climbed down the stage and went to our table.

Natsu, though, went straight to the drinking table. He chugged down an orange juice (A/N: See multimedia -------->), while someone was staring at him—or rather, watching his every move. "Hey. You want him to melt?" I teased Lucy, chuckling. She tore his gaze away from him, drinking the iced water from her glass.

"Attention, everyone! The next activity will start after a few minutes. Thank you."

Hm. What will be the next activity?
