{Natsu’s POV}

“♪Say you’ll remember me
Standing in a nice dress
Staring at the sunset babe♪”

It was the moment we’ve all been waiting for. Our first song together as a band. The girls were singing, and us boys were busy with the instruments we’ve been holding. It was my first time playing the guitar. I was a fast learner. Thanks to Lucy, I’ve learned the chords within a day. And may I remind you: You’ll never like it when she’s the one teaching you on how to play a guitar. I shivered at the thought.

This day was our recording day for our first song. All were going smoothly. I suddenly remembered Loki who got rejected by Lucy. I pitied him, but I think it’s good for him, too. He insulted me, and it’d be harmful if he’s Lucy’s boyfriend. Trust me, I know Lucy better than anyone.

Back in third grade, her parents tried to test her by making someone named Natsu her boyfriend. (Yep, that’s me.) She frowned at the thought. I knew that she didn’t know anything about love or something like that. I didn’t know much about that as well, but I just agreed with her parents because I wanted to see her reaction... partly. Yeah, yeah. I’ve got a crush on her back then. But that was a long time ago. I learned my lesson.

Lucy didn’t like the idea of her parents to make her my girlfriend, too. Apparently, her parents overdid it, and persisted that we should sleep together. Lucy disagreed. But the happiest thing that I could remember for me that time (when I was still having a crush on her) was that I was her first boyfriend, even if it’s just a test. Same goes for me, too. We broke up that summer when her parents announced it was only a test.

“Okay, good job, people.” The producer said, smiling. “Next up is the making of your music video. On that music video, the main couple there shall be... Gajeel and Levy. There’ll be a happy ending.”

I saw Levy blush a thousand shades of red. Gajeel looked like it was nothing for him. Right. Why would he be excited or something? What would I expect?

Lucy nudged Levy. “Oh yeah. You can do it, girl. Talk about your cru—”

“Shut up, Lu-chan!” Levy cussed, her forehead creased. She blushed a darker shade of red. When I looked around to find Gajeel, I found out that he was already gone. So much for letting him hear that Levy had a crush on him.

I chuckled. I wonder what his reaction would be if he heard that Levy had a crush on him. I bet his expression would be something priceless.

Now, I don’t know if he heard it—that Levy and him would be the stars of the music video. I’ll tell him later to make it clear.

“Idiot. What are you waiting for? Christmas?” I heard Lucy’s impatient voice which made me look up. I smiled sheepishly at her and shook my head. Gee. So moody. “Come on, air head.” I should be mad at her. I should, but I couldn’t because she held my hand.

“Hey, Lucy! Dating now? You’ve grown up! You’ve become a lady! How amazing!” Erza sighed dreamily as Lucy slapped Erza’s arm, rolling her eyes. I swear, she didn’t know how to smile at all. She was a professional sadist too. She entered the van with Erza cackling behind her. I sat beside Gray, creeped out.

Gray chuckled at my gesture. “That’s okay, baby. Don’t be scared. I will be right here beside you.” Gray tried to calm me down playfully, which, by the way, didn’t work. I became more creeped out with his words. He sounded like a gay. I backed away from him with eyes saying “I’m scared”, like he was gonna rape me anytime soon. He laughed out loud which made everyone look at him.

“Hey guys.” Juvia said out of nowhere. “Speaking of the music video, when are we going to shoot it? When’s the deadline?”

Mavis smiled, “As far as I know, it’s a must that we should start the shooting tomorrow.”

Jellal gasped. “Tomorrow?! Wow. That’s fast.”

“Well, yeah. The deadline is in three days.”

“Woah, Mavis. Too fast.” Erza remarked.

“I know,” Mavis chuckled.

“So, where are we going to do the shooting?”

“That’s for you guys to decide.” Zeref answered, opening an eye.

Gajeel huffed. “Quit taking a nap and help us.”

“Okay, okay. Chill, dude.” He sat up. “Where do you want to shoot it, anyway?”

We thought about it. A lightbulb suddenly flicked in my head. “Boys, I just know where we’re going to have a picnic. Plan it with me once we get home.” I grinned, determined.

“What about us girls?” I turned to Lucy who spoke. She was arching an eyebrow, and I couldn’t help but smile.

“Hmm, you’ll know all about it later.” I responsed with a lopsided smile. She rolled her eyes at me, crossed her arms, and looked out the window.

*-*-*-*-

“Sho, what aw we going cho du?” Gray inquired with his mouth full of ice cream.

I grinned. “While doing that music video, we’re going to camp!!” I said ecstatically.

“Wow! Isn’t that a brilliant idea?” Zeref exclaimed with a bright smile. “So, tomorrow we’ll start the camp?”

“We’re going to the camping site today and sleep there. I know some place.”

“Ohh, and now we shall pack!” Jellal threw his fists up in the air and stood up. He walked towards his closet and got all the clothes he needed. “Oh, wait. And how long are we going to camp?”

“Three days. And within that three days, we’ll also make the music video.” I answered. “Gajeel, you still have your camera with you, right?”

“Yeah.”

“Good.”

Then all was settled.

*-*-*-*-

“Where the hell are we going?” This was the 50th time Lucy asked that question ever since we’ve left the house. Exasperated, I rolled my eyes and ignored her. “If you’re not going to tell me, then I won’t shut up.”

“She’s persistent,” Gray remarked.

“Very.” I agreed.

In my peripheral vision, I saw Lucy roll her eyes again. “Really? I myself didn’t know that. How observant.” She said sarcastically. “Where are we going?” The 51st time. Been counting.

“Camping while shooting the music video. Happy? Now shut up. Look at all the girls in this van except you. You’re the only one who is awake and noisy.” Gajeel couldn’t stop it; his patience was already gone and blown by the wind.

She huffed and rolled her eyes. “I should’ve shut my mouth soon enough if you answered my question right away.” She liked to roll her eyes, doesn’t she?

“What’s the commotion all about?” Levy inquired, looking disturbed by the noise.

“Nothing, shrimp. Just sleep.”

“How dare you call me shrimp!”

And all the arguments continued.

We have reached the camping site with Gajeel and Levy still bickering. It was all Gajeel’s fault. This fight between them rarely happened, and I think this was the first time I’ve seen these two fight after a long time. And this was all about Gajeel calling Levy a shrimp.

“Hey, let’s fight. I’m bored.” Gray said.

“Don’t wanna. I’m not in the moo—” Tell me I’m hallucinating, but did I just see Jellal hug Erza? She’s sleeping! And why would he do that? He had respect for girls and—wait. Unless he’s…

“What happened?” And because Gray liked to blab, I hauled him away and told him it was nothing.

Dude, Jellal still held feelings for Erza. So much for denying it.

“What do you want to do here, Levy?” I heard Lucy ask in a loud voice.

“Just read.”

“No, I meant in the music video.”

“Yeah, that’s what I want to do.” I could imagine Lucy rolling her eyes.

Juvia grinned. “I have an idea, and it’s fantastic.” She said excitedly. “Gray, come over here.” Gray, with an annoyed expression, went over to where Juvia was. “So here’s what will you do—what everyone will do...”

I sighed. I want to eat. I crave for peanut butter.

I rummaged through the bag where I can find the food. I grinned when I found it. I stuffed my mouth with lots of food. Well, not until someone stopped me. But that wasn’t just someone. It was Shana. Shana of Shakugan no Shana. She was so amazing, and her red hair when she fights is so beautiful. And—

“Uh, hi mister. I just want to ask you if you know where the exit of this campsite is? It’ll be helpful.” As much as I badly wanted to help, I couldn’t. I’m bad at directions, you see.

Before I could even answer, someone spoke and tugged at my ear making me yelp. “Doofus, the shooting of the music video is gonna start. Quit flirting with her. Oh, hi Shana. Sorry for the bad day he’s spreading around.”

“No, Lucy. I was just asking for directions, that’s all.” Shana sheepishly mumbled.

“You shouldn’t ask someone like him. He’s bad at directions.” Way to make me embarrassed, Lucy. She was such a good friend.

Shana chuckled, “Ah, I see. Sorry. I guess I’m gonna ask somebody else. See you around?”

“Yeah, see you around.” And for the first time in years, I saw Lucy give out a lopsided smile. She looked... genuinely happy. But still, as her bestfriend, something told me that her smile was a little bit... off. She looked like a sunshine, though. This was the first time I saw her smile like that again. “What are you staring at?” She was back to her old self. “Come on, let’s finish the shooting so I can get to read and relax.” She tugged at my ear which made me scowl.

When I looked at her, my scowl disappeared. It couldn’t be. Her expression... she’s jealous?

-*-*-*-*

“Okay, Levy. Hold Gajeel’s face. Your one arm... wrap it around him. There you go.” Juvia commanded and I noticed Gray staring at her. I smirked and caught his attention. I sniggered as I pointed at Juvia.

My eyes roamed the area and I saw the cameras. I smiled but then frowned when I saw Lucy. What I saw earlier... no, it couldn’t be. My wild imagination, I guess.
