After I finished making breakfast for him, I placed it on the tray with two mugs of hot coffee and took to my room.

"Hey, I got you breakfast" I said.

"Why did you brought upstairs, I was coming down" he said giving me his charming smile.

"Because only two of us were left for breakfast, so I bought it up" I said placing the tray on the table.

"Why?? Where's everyone??" He asked running a hand through his hair.

"Dad went to office early and Mom had gone to somewhere. Maha has gone to college, so only we are left" I said shrugging.

"Isn't this awesome??" He said winking.

"No, it isn't. Now eat fast, I'm hungry" I said.

After we finished eating, he got up to wear his coat and I helped in keeping everything ready that he needed to take with him.

"Umm..Fawad?"

"Yeah"

"Is everything alright?" I asked.

"Yeah, why do you ask?"

"Nothing...it's just you seem a bit off these days" I said and he froze.

"Ohh..it's just work pressure" he said quickly walking out of the room.

Like everyday I walked with him to his car.

"You know you can share everything with me" I said.

"Seher, stop pestering me. I know what I can do and not. You don't have to tell me everything. If I'm not telling you that means that I don't want to tell you. Why are you so thick headed?? Please don't try to intrude in my personal space!!" He said in a cold tone and I was shocked.

"Fawad, I'm sorry if you felt that way. I was just trying to-"

"Seher, I'm getting late" he said and drove away.

What was that???

After an hour or so I did a conference call to my friends, it had been a while since we all had a talk.

"Assalamualaikum" we all said together.

"Walekumasalam" we again replied together. We started giggling.

"How are you all?" I asked

"I'm going mad because of my studies" Naima groaned.

"And I'm going crazy over my weight!! It is as if I'm expanding day by day" Ayeza said and we all laughed

"Expanding!!!!!" Atiqa commented laughing.

"We all are good, you say about yourself" Rida said ignoring evrything.

"I'm also good" I replied

"When are you coming??" Naima asked and I was super sure that she was pouting.

"I did came just few days back" I said.

"Nope, it was one and a half month back" Atiqa said

"It's been this long!!"

"Yes, it is" Rida said.

"So when are you planning to come??" Ayeza asked

"What I'm thinking is that why not you all come to meet me?? This way you'll see my house also and meet everyone properly??" I said smiling.

"It's not a bad idea...what's say Girls!!" Ayeza said

"We're coming....." Everyone shouted together.

"What?? Now??? Howw??? Noooo...not todaayyyy" I said getting a bit hyper.

"Relax....we're not coming today." Rida said laughing.

"Boooo.....Seher got scared!!!" Atiqa screamed.

"I'm gonna kill you all" I muttered, plotting different ways to kill them.

"We'll see.." Naima said.

"Forget all this...howz jijz??" Ayeza asked.

"Allahamdulilah" I said.

"Everything's fine between you two now??" Naima asked

"Figuring out that only" I said without even thinking once.

"What is it now???" Atiqa asked.

"Why Mr.Fawad comes with lots of complications?" Rida said

"Agree" Ayeza said

"Now, we definitely have to come" Naima said.

"Guys, it's not that. I might be over thinking" I said

"That you always do" Atiqa teased.

"Ati..." Rida said. "Seher, what happened??"

"I don't know. Everything was perfectly fine...few weeks back he decided to take me for shopping and from then every problem started." I said slumping down on my bed.

"What exactly happened?" Ayeza asked.

"Again I don't know. He was very much fine until we reached mall, then he went to park his car. After that he doesn't seem his old self!! He had went back to his silent mode, if you'll look at him you'll be able to notice that something or the other is disturbing him" I said.

"Oohh..." Naima said.

"Now we definitely have to visit you" Rida said.

"Seher, may be it's just the work. Look, after leaving you, he might have got a call regarding work and that particular thing might have ticked his mood off???" Atiqa said.

"First I also thought about this but then when we came back, Aapu had come to visit us. After dinner when I went back to my room, I saw both of them talking. And just when they saw me, immediately both of them stopped talking. After that, I wanted to ask him, but he slept right away." I said.

"Seher, Calm down!! You only said once that Aapu and jijz are very close and on top of that she's pregnant, she might be sharing some personal issues with him." Ayeza said.

"She's right, Seher" Rida said.

"Don't think much dear" Naima said

"We all know that at some point we all are curious to get our answers. But sometimes getting answers is the most toughest job. Give him some space, Seher. He'll eventually spill everything." Atiqa said.

"I hope so" I said sighing

"Now you go and take some rest. Give your mind some rest. We'll talk later." Ayeza said.

"Yeah..okay. Bye."

"Bye..."

After talking with them, I went down and saw Mom sitting on the couch, massaging her temples. When did she came??

"When did you came back?" I asked

"Five minutes back" she said smiling.

"Everything's fine?" I asked.

"Yes, my dear."

"Do you wanna eat something?"

"No, I guess, I'll just rest for a while. You should also go and rest" she said getting up. After giving instructions to the maids for the lunch, I went back to my room and tried to get a peaceful sleep.

Right when I was in my deep sleep, my cell rang and I groaned loudly. When I checked it was him.

"Hello"

"Hii, did I disturbed you?"

"No...was just sleeping"

"Ohh..okay, you sleep. I just called you like that"

"It's fine, now as it is I won't be able to sleep again."

"Ohh...Mom came?"

"Yeah"

"And Maha?"

"She'll come by three"

"Ohh.."

"Fawad what's the matter" I said my patience running out.

"Nothing..."

"Fawaaaddd...." I said in a warning tone.

"Fine, I'm sorry" he said sheepishly.

"For what?"

"For my rude behavior with you, today in the morning"

"I didn't mind that...you don't have to be."

"Still..." He said

"You know what there are certain things that doesn't hurt us, but something's needs to be pulled out so that it doesn't keeps pricking someone!!" I said

"Seher..."

"No Fawad..."

"I don't want to pull it out, at least not in front of you. Just now we were getting comfortable and I don't want that thing to disturb us."

"But unknowingly you did" I said taking a deep breath.

"Seher...."

"Fawad, I need to sleep. Bye"

"Seher, please don't be angry on me"

"Fawad, I'm not angry. I'm hurt...and it is not because you're hiding something from me. It is just because I'm not that capable enough to support you. Do you remember, that we made a promise back in Maldives, that we're gonna share everything with each other and it doesn't matter to me that if we live upto that promise or not but what matters me the most is I said, that I'll be there for you and now I'm not even worth it to stand for my own words!!"

"You're making it tough for me"

"Then don't. I don't want this too...but it would be very kind of you, if you keep your more private things away from our personal space!!" I said and hung up.

I took a pillow and hugged it.

I didn't knew that I was crying until I could feel the wetness on the pillow.

Again my cell started ringing

"What???"

"Be ready by six" he said and hung up.
