Ruhana is still unconscious and Vineet is pained to see her like that.

He never imagined that he will see her lying on the bed. Seeing her silent with all those tubes attached to her body is painful for him. He asks the doctor if he can take her home, but the doctor straightly denies it at first. Later, when he says that he will take care of her and he has a feeling that she will heal at home fast, the doctor hesitatingly agrees.

Vineet fulfils the formalities and the doctor advises him to take a nurse along with them. He agrees, he knows he will need the nurse for his help. The doctor tells him that he can take his wife home the next morning and he agrees. Obviously, he won't be able to handle Bulbul if she will see her mom in such a condition. In the morning, the girl would be at school and he can settle his wife in their room. And later, explain the things to Bulbul.

He sighs deeply, he holds Ruhana's hand in his and looks at her. He's never seen her so quiet but maybe, this is destiny's game which they cannot turn away. He just hopes that she wakes up soon.

The next morning comes early. Vineet talks with Bulbul and asks her to go to school after which she can meet her mom. The girl is adamant enough to not go, because, she's feeling a void since her mom left the house and things have not been okay. She might have said things but Bulbul knows that it's her mom only who does most of the things for her. Her dad only shows up on holidays but her mom even leaves her important work for her(Bulbul). Bulbul leaves for school half-heartedly hoping that her mom would be fine.

In the hospital, the nurse makes Ruhana ready and they leave for home. The nurse and a ward boy stay in the ambulance with Ruhana while Vineet drives in his car. He has already informed the housemaid who is waiting for him. Even she looks worried about Ruhana.

As they reach home, Vineet paves the way for the wardboys and directs them toward their bedroom. He asks them to lay her on the bed on one side and fixated the machines and saline bottle on one side. Making sure that the lady is comfortable and fine, though comatose, he doesn't want anything to be inappropriate.

He pays the ward boys and opens the guest room for the nurse who thanks him, she'd be staying with them until Ruhana gets better. Vineet tells her that she can rest and come for her checkup when needed. And if he will need her, he will call her. The lady nods and insists on helping him to which he agrees.

Vineet asks the housemaid to prepare tea for him and the nurse and the lady obliged. He moves in the bedroom and finds Ruhana lying on the bed. There's no improvement in her condition. Well, he knows, it will take days but he has started to feel alone and left out. He sits near her and holds her hand as he trails down memory lane.

*Flashback Begins*

It's a fine day when Vineet returns back home from his office. He finds Bulbul in living room watching her cartoon. The girl is 5 years old and she jumps over him as he entered the house. She looks sullen and sad. Vineet strokes his head lovingly.

"Kya hua? Mera bacha itna udaas kyun hain?" He asks taking seat on the couch.

"Kyunki aaj mumma ne Bubble ke saath game nahi khela! Aur aaj chocolate shake bhi nahi diya mumma ne!" She says softly yet sadly.

"Aur unko head mein pain ho raha hain. Unhone mujhse baat nahi nahi ki." Little Bulbul says pointing at her own head.

"Oho! Koi baat nahi. Aap TV dekho, main mumma se baat karta hoon, okay? " Vineet says softly and the girl bobs her hair multiple times.

Vineet smiles and makes her sit on the couch, he moves to his room and finds Ruhana lying on the bed. It seems like she's asleep but as he walks closer to her, he feels that she is wriggling in pain. She's not able to sleep peacefully.

He takes his seat beside her and begins to dab her forehead. He could feel her nerves relaxing and after a couple of minutes, she opened her eyes.

"Vineet! Tum aa gaye? Kaisa raha tumhara din?" she sits up on the bed.

"Main thik hoon aur wo deal bhi hame mili lekin tumhe kya hua?" Vineet asks.

"Pata nahi, Vineet. Mujhe lagta hai ki mujhe dhoop lag gayi hai. Aaj main meri client se milne gayi thi aur jabse wapas aayi hoon, mujhe migraine hogaya hai. Itna severe ki main kuch nahi kar payi. Bulbul bhi narazz hogi mujhse." Ruhana tells her hubby.

She usually gets a headache when it's too hot. And managing everything with their five year old daughter is a task. Vineet dabs her head for a little while but then tells her that he's hungry. Ruhana sighs and asks him to order something but he denies and asks her to make vegetable rice, which is everyone's favourite at home.

Ruhana begins to retort but she realises that she doesn't have any other choice. Her husband and daughter won't eat anything if their maid prepares the meal.

She sighs deeply and asks him to make a cup of tea to which he obliges. Ruhana gets on her feet and changes into her comfy pj's and moves out of the room.

Bulbul pounces on her and showers questions on her. Ruhana makes her sit in her lap and kisses her forehead.

"Mumma is sorry, betu. But aaj mumma ko acha nahi lag raha. Hum game kal khelen?" Ruhana asks her daughter.

Bulbul gets sad at the moment but cheers up when Ruhana says that she can play with her father in their room and sleep with them.

The girl chuckles and meanwhile, Vineet gets ginger tea for Ruhana and himself. Though a little relief, Ruhana is still not well enough to cook food but she does it with the help of househelp.

Vineet and Bulbul are glad to get their favourite food but they fail to notice that Ruhana hasn't eaten anything. When they finish their dinner, the housemaid tells Vineet that Ruhana has not eaten anything and she's in her room.

He is surprised and he walks into the room. He asks her why she didn't have the food, Ruhana says that she's not hungry, moreover the pain is unbearable for her. She also adds something that leaves him surprised.

*Flashback Ends*

The words from the past are echoing in his ears and Vineet could only apologise to her while she can't hear him.
