Naegiri/Kyouko (Why I Dislike The Two)
Well, seeing as I've p*ssed off enough people by disliking the two, let me explain why.
Kyouko:
Kyouko, in brief, is a bland and cliche character, who they worked extra hard on to spice up. This to me, just seems, off. It's off putting for me, to see a certain character (especially a bland one) receive too much character development. By this, I mean that they're taking the ideal heroine for this game, which is a cliche character. This leads them to bring in, filler plot. Yes, to me, all of Kyouko's character development, was filler plot. It angers me to know that they gave Kirigiri this forced, at least to me, "tragic" back story, and slight change. But this completely changes in the third installment, the future ark of the anime. I would've thought it would be interesting to have Kirigiri attempt to dispose of Naegi, whom I also hate, in some sort of way that she wouldn't really feel guilty of. (Eg. Leaving traps that anyone can set off, but are most likely to kill Naegi.) But know, they had to make her die for Naegi. Thus is why I hate kuudere's. They have to almost, break character, in order to satisfy. In most cases, this directly leads to the kuudere not being cool or collected because of lover. And Kyouko does this, only a bit less of it. If I were a kuudere, I wouldn't just decide to randomly and dramatically show my feelings. I would probably never even take that necessary ark to prove someone a kuudere. Instead, I'd probably leave tony little hints, that might lead to my lover confessing to me, which I then open up by the tiniest amount possible. Like, I'd accept them, but I would never stop being 100% no feelings. Because I'm still a kuudere. This is what bothers me about a lot of dere's. They have to completely change by the end of the story, because that's how they're forced to be brought up. I can stand deredere and yandere's, and a few other dere's, as they don't have to completely change. But you may argue, look at this facial expressions. Yes, I realize. But, if you compare it to her at the beginning, it's as if we have her twin sister. Also, they wasted development that we could've used on interesting characters, like Sayaka. I just feel like they were wasting other character's potential on one overrated, 'disguised' cliche character.
Naegiri:
One, I dislike Kyouko, and Makoto can go f*ck himself. =3. But, as a ship, it isn't interesting. It's hero x heroine. Cut the Naegiri time to Naezono time, which ship really is better? The one where there is actually a realistic conflict, or the kuudere x ten year old? I find Maizono's conflict similar to Ruruka's. But, Sayaka didn't even try to kill Makoto, she tried to kill Leon, who is boring. This back fired, and she was stabbed. With her remaining energy, the last thing she did was try to save Naegi. Sure, the others were saved too, but I saw this as her apology to Makoto, just like Ruruka's apology to Yoi. See, Sayaka not having actual feelings for Naegi, can't be confirmed. She was scared. And, you can check out that final convo between Sayaka and Naegi. ;)
Sorry, I switch between first and last names. XD
Please don't hate me. You can politely tell me your opinion in the comments. I'm going to bed, I'm sleep deprived. Here's a drawing I'm working on!
I'm going to be drawing each of the deceased like this. Without faces, with their blood stains and all, and the weapon that killed them. Inspired by DoubleDodd. Her drawing of Kyouko was adorable, I will admit. Please excuse the ugly knife. Imma pass out now!
Bye!
(Please excuse typos)
