I just watched the English dub if the anime, episode 22, and I hate him! Here's why:

1) He's annoying.
He is sooooo annoying! You think I'm annoying for not updating. Look at this brat. He just casually walks up and begins to strum on his guitar loudly.
"If there's a strong Pikachu to the west, I go to the west! If there's a strong Pikachu to the east, I go to the east!"
No. Just no! What do your parents have to say about this.

2) His strategy.
"I like battling with Pikachu so much, that i only use it in battle! If I hear there's a strong Pikachu, I find it and battle it!"
Who taught you strategy?! Sure, it's okay to have an "ace" Pokemon, but only having one is just useless. Other trainers have the option of calling out different Pokemon, while you're stuck with Spike! Also, traveling all over for those battles is unpractical! And that guitar could be a distraction for your Pokemon!

3) He has a crush on Serena.

Need I say more?

4) He's scary.

Too lazy to download a pic, but you know what he looks like. How does he do that face paint every day?! And his hair... No. I'm Grumpy Cat now.
