After walking inside her house, Anippe quietly and wistfully said "You can go home now, you're happy about that aren't you."

"Yes, I'm happy to be able to go back to my own time, but I'll miss you, Anippe." Anippe nodded at that, a little bit happier now. Then she beckoned me to follow her upstairs.

"What is it, Anippe?"

She turned inside a doorway and said "Come on!" I followed her inside and gasped in amazement. There were glittering treasures everywhere!

Then she said " pick something out that calls to you, so that you can always remember me."

Then I said " All right but I'll always remember you anyways, Annipe." Then, I walked farther into the room and felt pulled towards the right. When I went over there, I saw a golden coiled snake bracelet that kept popping out at me. I picked it up and showed it to Anippe. She nodded her head vigorously in a way that said good choice. I followed her out of the room after slipping on the bracelet. As we walked down the stairs, the door to the manor burst open.

Anippe quickly whispered to me "Run!" I ran down the long hall, hoping to get out the back way. Suddenly, I was jerked back. I looked behind me and saw that an ancient egyptian soldier had grabbed me.

He dragged me to the kitchen and said " I got her sir."

Anippe said " How did you know about us?"

Then, the one that was apparently in charge said "I was listening in to your conversation with that foolish priest, Kahotep. You three never even noticed I was there, watching and listening." Then, he looked at both me and Anippe with a glare in his eye.

He said " Which one of you two is the witch."

"Imenand, what are you talking about?" Anippe said. Then she whispered to me "His name means the hidden one, which is kind of fitting since he just confessed to spying on us, which is rude and looked down upon." Then she stopped talking and glared at him with fury apparent in her gaze.

"Well that tells us that she's the real girl." Imenand said.

"Take this one away." He said, pointing at me, with a small amount of unveiled disgust in his voice. The guards dragged me to the palace, and into the nearby prison cell.
