When I was out, she said "Follow me, I have the elixir." I followed her to the temple. Then, she said " Go to exactly where you were when you arrived here. Oh, and here's your things." I accepted my basket from her and walked to the spot I had arrived in. Then, she handed me the elixir and said "To get home, drink the potion and then read aloud the scroll that brought you here. Go now, before they find out you are missing."

I did as she said and before reading the scroll, I said "I'll miss you, Anippe."

She replied " And I'll miss you too, Abayomi. Now go!" I read the scroll aloud, just before I popped back to my time, I saw soldiers burst into the room and heard Anippe cry out to them "You're too late!" I saw one of the men begin to advance toward her and then there was a brilliant flash of bright white light. Then I was back in my time, at the exact moment I left, with everything I had brought with me to that time and everything I had brought back in my hands.

Just before I put the scroll in my bag, it shriveled to ash. I can never get back to her time now. Then I collapsed on my bed and shook with tears for Anippe before falling into a deep sleep because of exhaustion. When I woke, I got out of bed and changed back into my modern clothes and hid my basket under the bed. I took the necklace off but left the bracelet on. I would never take that bracelet off. It would serve as a reminder to me of Annipe and my adventure. Right after I hid my things, my dad opened the door.

Hi guys, sorry I haven't updated in a while. I've been busy with studying for finals (especially English and math), babysitting, etc. There is going to be a two week period next month where I can't update or answer any comments, but I will try to update again at least once before then.
