"Hey, Shadow." Leafblade said as she went to lay down next to Shadow.

Shadow had been sleeping under an Apple Tree and Leafblade had woken him up.

"What do you want, Plant Girl?" He asked.

"No need to be rude," Leafblade told him.

"No need to be rude," Shadow repeated in a pitIful high pitched voice.

"Shadow, stop it." Leafblade said more firmly.

"Whatever, what do you want?" Shadow asked roughly.

"I've come to get you." Leafblade told him. "The Eevees have been dared to lock us all up in a room together for an hour."

"Oh my God." Shadow growled. He would get them for this later.

"Come on," Leafblade told him as she padded away. "I don't want do this either. Let's get it over with."

Shadow followed reluctantly.

"This is the worst day ever! The very very worst day ever!" Coral sang.

"Shut your face, Coral!" Lance snarled.

"Don't talk to her like that!" Pearl told Lance firmly.

Frost jumped to her paws. "Tell her, Lance! Tell the idiot!"

"I'm not an idiot!" Coral said defensively.

"You are sometimes," Pyro muttered.

"No I'm not!" Coral snapped.

"Guys, shut up." Leafblade said quietly.

No one listened.

"Aren't you gonna beat her up, Lance?" Frost said impatiently, swishing her tail back and forth.

"Not now, Frost." Lance growled.

"Coral's smart! She is so smart!" Pearl sang.

Coral nodded her head vigorously.

"I think you mean she's dumb." Frost told Pearl.

"No, I'm smart!" Coral growled.

"Are we just going to argue over if Coral's smart or not?" Violet asked.

"Pretty much, yeah." Frost shrugged.

"That's stupid." Violet muttered.

"Hey, Pyro!" Frost called.

Pyro turned to her, startled. "Huh?"

"What are your opinions on Coral?" Frost asked.

"Uh well, she's my sister, but she is pretty dumb, I'll be honest." Pyro said.

"Well!" Coral huffed. "I'm disappointed in you Pyro!"

Pyro shrugged.

"Stop being mean to Coral!" Pearl stood up for her friend.

"At least Pearl loves me," Coral mumbled.

"Really though, is Coral smart?" Frost asked.

"Shut up about Coral's intelligence! No one cares!" Leafblade suddenly snarled.

This started Shadow. Leafblade was usually a calm Leafeon that hardly talked. Let alone yell at anyone...

"Leafblade! I, for one, am surprised! What drove you to disrupt your quiet mind?" Frost asked.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to raise my voice. But please, stop about Coral. I don't like it." She told her sister.

"You heard her! Stop! Stop with the Coral thing!" Frost told the others.

Oh my Arceus, what happened? I didn't even get involved. Sinking into the shadows as usual, I guess. Shadow thought.
