Chapter 2- Freshman Year

Evan's POV

Beeep. Brreeeep. BREEEP!

I opened my eyes. Today was the day. The most horrifying day ever: the first day of High School.

Being a Freshman, I knew it would be new. A big change from Middle School, at least.

I sighed as I got out of bed. I looked over at Eve's bed. Eve was still in bed, although she would probably get up soon; Elle was jumping up and down on her bed screaming at the top of her lungs, "WAKE UP! It's the first day of Freshman Year!"

I walked out into the hall and into the bathroom. I quickly got ready and went back into my room to get dressed into actual clothes, not just pajamas.

Eve was finally up, but Elle kept yelling, "It's the first day of Freshman Year!" I rolled my eyes as I grabbed my shirt and pants and went back into the bathroom to change.

After that, I went back into Eve's, Elle's, and my bedroom. I quickly slipped on my boots, put on my brown hoodie, and smoothed out my dark brown jeans.

I looked over at Eve and Elle. They both were wearing brown dresses. Eve slipped on a brown coat and her shoes, but Elle just put on her stockings and shoes.

Ever since we were small, our mum dressed us up in brown since we're Eevees. Plus we're triplets, and we've just stuck to it.

"Food is ready!" Mum called from the kitchen.

Everyone hurried out of the bedroom to the kitchen. We all sat down in unison, which was a little creepy. When Mum saw our outfits, she beamed.

"Take off your coats, Eve, Evan," Mum suggested as she plopped two pancakes each on our plates.

"No! I like it..." Eve mumbled as she spread syrup on her pancakes.

"Do you think anyone will ask about our accent?" Elle asked. I shrugged.

We were born in England, United Kingdom, U.K., Great Britain, what ever you like to call it. We moved here while I was in Middle School, sixth grade to be exact.

"Who knows?" Eve said.

"Don't talk such rubbish. Everyone will like you for who you are!" Mum yelled.
Everyone nodded.

**************

Mum pushed us all inside the car. The small car had only four seats, but it was enough to fit us.

I sighed as Mum turned on the radio. The sounds was faded, and -at times- paused. It had a screechy tone to it, but it is what it is.

"Are you looking forward to High School?" Mum asked us.

"Duh!" Elle yelled. I quickly rolled my eyes. Elle sat up front while me and Eve sat in the back, so Mum rolled her eyes as she jerked her head back to me and Eve.

"Ohhhh..." Elle mumbled.

"Worried, nervous, all that stuff," Eve said. She was a bit louder than normal.

"And you, Evan?" Mum asked.

I sat there quietly, the answer running through my head. Nervous. Worried. Hopeful. Scared. But somehow, someway... excited.

"Now it won't be that bad," Mum said. I nodded as she pulled into the school parking lot.

*************

"Goodbye!!" Mum called as me, Eve, and Elle marched up the steps to school.

"Bye, Mum!" We yelled in unison.

I turned on my heel right after Eve and Elle did. We stared at the doors to the High School. Suddenly, the bell rang.

"Ready?" Elle breathed.

"A little," Eve replied.

"Not at all," I added. "Let's do it."

And I opened the doors to the new, amazing place, I would soon call home.
