Prologue
The once, tall and stout features of a random guy is slouched in front of his ex-boss.
The ex-boss, is a corporate hooligan who never spares men, women or even children if they mess around. Some news articles claimed that he had killed his wife for her fortunes. But he himself had crores of networth, a few gambled it to be an affair.
His affairs.... That killed her.
A small ray of moonlight cascaded on his face, showing the roughness his eyes carried.
"Do you think you could run from Athreya?"
He roared at the guy who knelt before him with blood tipping from the lips. He wasn't any random man that night, he was from one of Athreya's enemies that tried to fumble the business secrets.
Whoever tried to disclose Athreya's secrets must have known them. And them, shouldn't be alive to tell it to the world.
That's what Athreya wanted.
He grabbed a wooden log from his friend and hit the guy in various spots that could bring death sooner. "How dare you meddle with my deals? You thought that you could fool this Athreya? Nobody ever dares me."
The name, Athreya Purushottam sent chills down the spine of men. Prominent men with black money and underworld deals knew him a lot better than normal business class.
Athreya built his life through bloodshed and bullets. Nobody ever could shatter it.
His friend tried to stop him, "He will die."
Athreya gave a stern stare, his breath was heavy, "Let him die, Vincent. He tried to change the accounts of hundred crores. Thanks to the IT team, we found it. What if we didn't?"
Vincent inhaled sharply and gave one glance at the bloody guy, "He doesn't need to die..."
"Vincent!" Athreya had a sharp tone, "If I spare him today, he might go behind another business man or his master could send another guy to spy on us. His death would warn that boss."
Athreya hated lies and traitors.
If he managed to survive the underworld, it was through pain and risks. He wouldn't risk the life that he had now.
He had money to change maps, change news and change the whole Chennai city.
Nobody questioned his work and life. Even though his elder sister, Priyanka doubted his work, Athreya shut her off with his misogynist words.
In daytime, Athreya was a robust CEO of P.K. industries but at night, he was a beast. He protected his business and pride and would go to any lengths for that. He either killed people or partied like nobody's business.
There have been legal cases against him which were unsolved due to lack of evidence, one of those was his wife's untimely death.
The men that challenged him were trash who needed to be ejected. Athreya knew his life was transient too, but he wanted to settle his sister and his son before he took his last breath.
With continuous splashes of blood, his face became red. His traitor succumbed to death.
"Throw him at the door of his boss. Nobody ever dares to repeat this to me," Athreya ordered his men.
They were gathered in their usual punishment spot, a deserted factory where no cameras and human eyes saw his beast mode.
The place witnessed many dead bodies.
A pigeon cooed on the ceiling when Athreya washed the blood stains. The dead body must've been thrown onto the lake.
Athreya smirked.
If it was for his safety, he wouldn't have killed the guy.
When it was about his business, Athreya had to end him.
Vincent handed Athreya's mobile and informed, "Priyanka called you lots of times."
"She went to meet another girl for marriage," Athreya rolled his eyes. His sister had the old, traditional thoughts of marriage, building a family, watching the kids to grow and die peacefully.
Those traits never fit Athreya.
Now, he was a widower which made her to torture him, emotionally.
Vincent shrugged, "Last week, she advised me to marry. Who will marry me?"
Vincent had tattoos all over his body and looked maniac. Athreya let a bitter laugh and dialled his sister.
"Where are you? Why didn't you pick up my call? Have you grown so big?" Priyanka seethed at him.
The atmosphere changed for Athreya as he was receiving her taunts silently. Priyanka wanted to fill the empty space of Namrata but he never wanted another woman in his life.
Women he met were either flings or prostitutes.
"I don't want to share my love." Athreya put his point straight.
He remembered the first time he met Namrata, out of compulsion as well. But everything turned out good. They lived together for 5 years until some fateful thing happened...
"I wanted to ask where are you," Priyanka shouted. He turned his nostalgia away, "On my way."
"I don't care if you marry or not, anymore," she said and cut the call.
Athreya scowled at the phone. Why did she behave like him being the villain?
"What happened?" Vincent wiggled his brows.
"Nothing as of now," Athreya sighed.
"Going for AIDS and syphilis?" Vincent crossed his hands.
Athreya nodded, "You?"
"Nope! I don't want a threesome with you!" Vincent blinked.
Athreya eyed him top to bottom and left the factory.
