Vikk's Pov:

~~Before the boys get to Vikk's house~~

I wake up to a very big pain in the back of my head, I sit up trying to figure out what happened...then I saw my mom. I stood up and glared at her.

"If this is what it will take to get you to talk then to be it!"

She yells and pushes me back to the ground and starts to beat me, I hear snap after snap. I sit there crying. Then after a while she backs up and looks at me before grabbing my hair and dragging me out of the room we were in and into the kitchen. She grabs a hot ladle and grabs my arm and puts it against my arm. I feel more tears come out of my eyes and I close them.

"You are pathetic!" She sates taking the ladle off my arm and grabbing a knife and grabs my other arm and starts to cut up my wrists, then a few very shallow cuts on my neck and my face. She grabs my hair again and drags me into the room we were in before the kitchen where she starts to hit me again. After a while she steps back again and looks down at me.

~~The boys are here now~~

"You worthless piece of crap! I still can't believe you will not talk, I think I broke your arm and your ribs are bruised. Talk!"

" I am tired of you! Why don't you understand that this is the way I handled the pain. I became Mute! You never loved me like you loved Dad and Joe. I am small and weak. Dad and Joe care about me! You know if you wanted me talking, try and support me I might have talked long time ago! But no you are mean and disrespectful! You came and kidnapped my brother to get me here to beat me! Then you sit here and beat me again! I am tired of this and I don't ever want to see you again I am also going to figure out a way to get Joe out of your custody! You happy now! I am talking"

My mom freezes and looks at me.

"Oh yes, dear...I knew you would start to talk eventually. You were so stupid." She states walking closer to me with her arms out.

I walk away and glare at her.

"You are seriously going to try and hug me after what you have put me thought! I HATE you! You just beat me, you have been trying to get me to talk for the past what is it, about 3 years now! Guess what! As I said before if you had been an actually mother, showed that you cared and loved me, that you supported me. I would have talked a long time ago. NO YOU SIT HERE CALLING ME NAME, BEATING ME, TRYING TO TAKE MY BROTHER AWAY FROM ME! I am done. And if you thought I was joking, Joe I am getting Joe into my custody some how!" I yell before turning around and I see Lachlan crying and all of my friends standing their in shock.

I limp over to them and, they follow me out the door where I hold it open for everyone before slamming it shut and making my way back to Joe's school.

"Pete can you call your mom, I need to get Joe out of school..." I states.

"Yea...one second." I hear Pete start to talk to his mom.

We make it into the school and I walk right up to the office.

"I need to check Joe Barns out of school. Now!" I state, very bossy and Serious.

She looks at me and gasps.

"Do I need to call an Ambulance?" She asks.

"NO! I need to check out Joe out of school!" I states getting frustrated.

"Sir school is out in 5 minutes it was early out." She states.

"What class is he in?" I state.

"Mrs. Grave." She states.

I nod and give a quiet thank you before walking outside where they will exit the class and I sit there, until the bell rings. I find Caspar and Joe walk out and I walk over to them. They both gasp when they see me.

"Vikk, what did mom do?!" Joe asks.

"Joe, not right now! I need you to come with me now!" I state seriously.

He sit there in shock but Casper takes his hand and makes him walk with me.

"Pete is your mom coming?" I ask.

"Yes she is, she will be here in about a minute now." He states.

"Thank you."

I run my hand over my face and I see so much blood on my hand, but with my adrenalin pumping I didn't care... I see Pete mom's car pull up. I walk over to it.

"Joe, Caspar follow." I states.

I hear their foot print and I tap on the window.

"Take Joe and Caspar to your house please. And do not let my mom see Joe, I am taking custody over him when I figure out how I can do that..." I state.

She just nods and they get in the car and I shut the door.

"Vikk, where are you going." She asks.

"The hospital, look at me!" I state frustrated. "Thank you." I state then start to walk to the hospital.

"Star?" I hear Lachlan state.

"Yes?" I asks.

"You talking?!" He states.

"Really Lachlan! I am covered in blood and all you can. not..ice, is th..at I am tal..king" I state before I start sobbing, feeling the adrenaline leave my body. And the pain and my emotions come out.

Lachlan wraps is arms around me.

"Shh, everything will be okay. You will be okay." He states as he picks me up bridal style and starts to walk to the hospital.

I just sob until I actually cry myself asleep in Lachlan's arms on the way to the hospital.
