Brandon's Pov:

School was over and I honestly think that it was the best day of school ever, I had so much fun and I was actually able to talk to my friends, and answer questions in class.

Matt and I walk hand in hand out of the school building, Lachlan had his arm thrown around Vikk's should holding him close and they walked. When we get out of the building we start to walk over to the elementary. Joe was in 5th grade after all.

When we get to the elementary, we wait in the meeting spot, for a half an hour. All of the other kids besides Joe come out and I could tell that Vikk was getting Anxious. I let go off Matt's hand and grabs Vikk's and pull him into the school office. I swear, if I didn't know that Vikk was my age I would have thought that he was an elementary kid. Okay, well we walk into the office and the secretary looks at us.

"Is Joe Barns still here?" I ask.

"All of the students should have left." She states back.

"Okay, well he is not at our meeting spot so he has to still be in here." I state getting frustrated.

"Welp. I am sorry. Now leave. High scholars are not allowed in the school unless it is Parent Teacher conference." She growls at me, and points at the door.

I glare at her and Vikk runs out of the office I follow him. We run out the doors but Vikk still runs. Then it hits me.

"GUYS! Follow him! NOW!" I state and take off after Vikk, Matt and Lachlan follow. We run all the way to Vikk's house. And Vikk runs in the house we follow. Lachlan closes the door behind us then gathers in the living room with us.

We see Joe in the floor in tears. Vikk runs over to him and Joe looks up and shakes his head.

"Vikk no!" Joe starts but is to late Vikk was on the ground and his mother was towering over him.

Vikk looks up at me and I could tell what he wanted.

"Joe come here now!" I states and Hoe runs over to me before his mother at time to react to grab him he was buried in my chest, his arms wrap his arm around my waist. I put my arms arms around him and keep him close.

Vikk and his mother were looking at me.

"So the stupid mute can talk! You should teach my son to talk." His mother steers.

"You know what, Vikk will talk when the time is right. I can talk now because I went though surgery and I wanted to talk again." I growl and Matt comes closer to me putting his arm around my neck. Trying to calm me down.

Vikk's mom smirks and looks back down at Vikk.

"You father ment more to you than I do. And I gave birth to you. " she states bending down and slapping Vikk across the face.

"You worthless, stupid, ugly being. I wish I never had you! You even took my baby away from me." She states punching his arm.

"No mother! I went with Vikk after the first time you slapped him! I feel more at home with these people than you! They don't leave me home allow!" Joe yells turning his head to look at his mother.

His mother looks at him for a minute before hitting Vikk again over and over. Lachlan stands up and pushes Vikk's mom off of him and picks him up in his arms, bridal style. Lachlan walks back over to us.

"Vikk I will get you to talk. I promise you that." Vikk's mom states as we walk out of the house and back to mine.

Vikk was crying in pain and sadness. Lachlan was kissing his head lightly every so often trying to calm him down. We walk into my house and Jackson and my mom come to the door and look at me.

"What happen?" Jackson ask.

"Their mother happened. She took Joe from school and the bear Vikk." I state and tears fall down my face. Joe buries his head back into my chest and I feel him start to cry. Vikk has not stop crying since we left the house.

"Okay? Lay him on the table and I will look to see if anything is broken." My mom states. Lachlan nods his head and lays Vikk on the table but keeps a hold of his hand. I am so glad that my mother is a doctor.

My mom dose a bit of a check up on Vikk and found nothing broken but some bruised bones. She came him and sleeping pill and a pain reliever. Before Vikk fell asleep, he got Lachlan to pick him back up and fell asleep him his arms.

Joe was still crying when Lachlan and Vikk walked up stairs. I walked into the living room and set Joe on the sofa.

"Joe are you okay?" I ask softly.

"Why dose my mom hate Vikk so much." He asks "is it my fault some how?"

I shake my head. "No Joe bone of this is your fault. You mom is just crazy that is all, now come one lets go to sleep. We do has school tomorrow." I say softly.

Joe nods his head and holds out his little hand. I grab it and Joe walks up the stairs. Matt follows us up and Joe lays in bed and falls asleep instantly.

"I know it is only 5:00 but I want to go to sleep to." I state.

Matt smiles and picks up up and lays me in bed then climbs in. Wrapping his arms around me.

I smile a little bit before falling asleep.
