Writer's block is stupid.
I feel like I always have writer's block.

I wake up to an empty, cold bed.
My eyebrows furrow for a moment as I think about where Nico could've gone.
It's only, I glance at the clock, six AM. No way Nico is awake.
"Nico?" I groan, half asleep.
"I'm over here, babe." He whispers from across the room.
Sitting up, I rub my eyes. I notice for the first time that there's a soft light on above Nico's desk. He's sitting at it with a notebook open and a charcoal pencil held tightly in his hand.
"What are you doing, Nico?" I pout. "Come back to bed."
"I can't sleep." He says simply, going back to what appears to be a drawing.
Yawning widely and climbing out of the bed, I make my way over to Nico. He quickly shuts his notebook and drops his pencil. I wrap my arms around his neck from behind him and plant a soft kiss to the top of his head.
"What are you doing?" I ask, gesturing to the notebook.
"Drawing." He replies sheepishly, playing with a string at the bottom of his undershirt.
"What are you drawing?"
There's a long pause and I almost think he fell asleep in his chair. Then, he sighs deeply and looks up at me.
"You."
"Me?" I wonder.
"You." He confirms. "You looked so peaceful when you were sleeping; I decided to draw you."
"I didn't know you draw." I rub my hands up his chest and across his shoulders, stopping to massage the knots there.
He melts into it and gives a satisfied groan. "Thanks, Love."
"Of course, Darling." I plant a kiss against his neck, right above his shoulder.
"Bed?" He mutters, eyes closed tight.
"Bed." I agree.
Together, we make our way back over to the plush mattress and fall onto it, cuddling up to each other and rifting back to sleep.

"So," Jason greets, setting his tray next to mine. "You and Solace, huh?"
Biting back a smile, I look down at my feet. "Yeah. It's pretty cool."
"Cool? He's been pining after you for weeks and all you have to say about this is 'its pretty cool'?"
With a start, I realize that Will and I haven't told anyone at scholl about our relationship. We haven't really shown PDA either.
I narrow my eyes defensively. "How do you even know about this?"
Jason shrugs.
"C'mon, Jase. Answer me." I snap.
"I miss you calling me that." Jason comments. "He told me. I've been giving him advice about it so he told me when be finally got the guts to ask you out."
"Why do you care what I call you, Jason?" I completely ignore everything else he said, stuck in that comment.
He shrugs again. "I don't know. I just like it when you call me Jase." The look on his face confuses me and I don't really know how to respond, so I pull out my cigarettes and lighter instead.
Right before I get the chance to light the cigarette between my lips, Jason reaches up and pulls a strand of hair from my face. His finger trails down my jaw afterward.
Before I get the chance to punch his lights out for touching me, there's a possessive hand on my waist and an annoyed huff.
"Hey, babe." Will greets, placing a fleeting kiss to my temple. His tone turns cold when he addresses my ex. "Jason."
"Will." Jason nods politely.
Will's hand squeezes my side almost painfully. He nuzzles my hair and whispers to me, "do you want to skip? I'm not feeling well."
I roll my eyes, knowing all too well this has nothing to do with how he feels. Regardless, I agree easily.
He slips his hand into mine, glaring at Jason, and pulls me away from the table.
"Bye, Nico." Jason calls out to me, smirk evident in his voice.
Will practically growls and pulls me closer to him.
---
"Nothing was going to happen, you know." I comment some time later while we sit at a red light.
"I know." He snips.
"Then why are you so worked up?"
"I'm not."
"You are. You're jealous, Solace."
"I am not."
"You totally are!" I begin laughing hysterically.
"I'm not! I just can't stand the thought of his hands on you. You're mine, I'm yours. It's simple. This is an A/B relationship. He can C his way out." Will replies tersely.
"Will, he moved some hair out of my eye."
"You didn't see the way he was staring at you!"
"Are we really fighting over how my ex is acting?"
"I guess we are."

Later on, when we were finished with our almost nonexistent homework, we curl up on my bed. Will is out before his head even hits the pillow so I curl myself around his warm, limp body.
As I listen to his snores and the quiet sounds of Hazel humming in the kitchen, something hits me that I will never admit out loud.
The way Jason looked at me felt... Good. It was nice to know he wanted something he couldn't have. That he wanted to give me that attention...
Before I let those thoughts go tok in-depth, I climb quietly out of bed and join Hazel in the kitchen.
