It was raining cats and dogs.
A little girl was walking alone, her palms were tightly pressed ears to block out the loud thunderstorms. She was scared. She was shaking a lot.
"Mama.. Papa.. Forgive me.." she cried out, hot tears escaping her big and round eyes, falling into the puddles beneath her.
A loud scream erupted from her throat as the lightning struck. She hated how loud they are. But she couldn't do anything to stop it, so here she was, walking to wherever her little feet brought her.
She regretted leaving her family back then. She should've stayed with them. But she felt, unwelcomed.
So why should she, right? With that she ran away.
Her four year old mind thought it was a brilliant idea.
But no, it wasn't. She wasn't fully aware of the colour of the sky that was slowly darkening. She didn't notice the bright sun was blocked by the once white and fluffy clouds that she loved to stare at.
Her [favourite/colour] knee high dress was drenched by the rain, the fabric tightly hugging her body because of that. Somehow both of her flats went missing, so here she was, walking with no shoes at all, or how people say it, barefoot.
Few droplets fell from the tips of her black hair.
She raised her head after seeing a red light, thinking it was somebody had already found her-
"O-oh... it's Mr.Streetlight.." She shamefully smiled at her own idiocy.
Since her birthday was coming in a few days more, this thing called 'Quirk' hasn't yet manifested in her, made her more useless in the situation with no real direction to go.
Her eyes managed to catch a moving blur at the other side of the road, despite the tears that clouded her vision. Her eyes widened as she saw the thing was running from something, or rather, someone.
She identified both of them as males, seeing from their features and all. She knew it was rude to assume other people's gender, but she did anyway.
The smaller male was wearing.. She scrunched up her face. It looked like something really old and mostly used to wipe the dusty windows at the mansion. It reached his knees and it seemed like he wore nothing underneath.
Let's not get deeper into the topic. His small feet, pretty much like hers, were barefoot. He kept running even though he was practically making himself more dirty with they puddles splashing around, some sticking to his skin.
[Y/n] gasped as he slipped, his head banging in the hard sidewalk.
Their eyes met, and [Y/n] noticed a little hope flashing in his eyes as he saw her. But it soon fade as his tiny legs were grabbed by the bigger person that was chasing him from the start.
Without thinking she sprinted towards the two, one of her hands trying to reach for him. She wanted to save him. From the unknown monster.
Out of the blue, blinding lights interrupted her vision making her eyes screw shut out of instinct. A loud honking sound was heard.
Forgetting her rescue mission earlier, she just hoped her sister and some servants remember her name at least if she did die.
Suddenly, her left shoulder was grabbed by a hand and her body was pulled. It ended up with her face buried in someone's chest. She stayed quiet. This was too.. random and shocking for a girl her age to go through.
After a while, it went awfully quiet. The person that had grabbed her had his hand stretched to the side..
She blinked rapidly. She was sure there was a vehicle coming her way just now..
"Oh." She saw a drunk looking man trying to run away, looking terrified.
She looked up to her saviour. He have light blue hair and piercing red eyes that were directly looking into her soul-
"EEK!" She fell on to her bum. "You dumb dumb! Why did you run like that?! You could've.. d-die..!" He shouted and helped her to get on her feet.
"S-sorry-! Achoo! I was trying to h-help- Achoo!"
He sighed, dragging her back to where she came from.
She felt warmth on top of her head as the male draped his oversized hoodie. "B-but this is yours! And w-why did you save me?" She asked, looking at him, gripping on the new clothing carefully.
A wave of sadness hit him, but he shook his head before flicking her forehead.
"I dunno. Maybe I was stupid like you too. And the name's Tenko Shimura. Uh- bye."
Before he disappeared, she hesitantly shouted, "T-Thank you! A-and I'm [Y/n]!"
But little did they know it wasn't their last meeting...
