"We almost had it." Michiko said.

"We'll take down this witch together. For our friends." I said trying to sound positive.

"That's the spirit Chi-chan! This witch is going down. We'll beat it together." Michiko said, trying to keep me positive.

Michiko and I charged towards the enormous witch. Michiko took out the witches minions with her scythe. I assisted her using my katana.

The witch we were fighting was different from any other witch we faced so far. The witch was enormous and had many arms. It had a broken glass like dress and it's face was white with sharp teeth, insane looking orange eyes, and long black hair.

It's was powerful, maybe even more powerful than the two of us combined...

...And that's what worried me.

Michiko and I attacked the witch the best we could, it was certainly getting weaker but it had no intention on giving up.

I discovered the witch's weak spot, but before I could reach it the witch hit me with one of it's arms, tossing me to the ground. The impact of it all hurt really badly but if you've been cursed like I have been, something like this wouldn't even be enough to injure you badly.

As I was getting back up, I didn't notice that the witch was going to attack me. But before it could reach me, something blocked it's path.

My eyes widened and I started to cry once I realized what that something was.

"No...Mi-chan..."

I ran over to Michiko and dropped down to where she fell.

"Mi-chan! Mi-chan! Please answer me!" I cried holding Michiko in my arms.

"Chi-chan..." Michiko said weakly. "I'm sorry but it looks like you'll have to beat this witch on your own. It looks like it's my turn to join the others."

"No...don't leave me! You're my best friend...and you're the only one left! I-I can't fight on my own...I need you! Please Mi-chan...don't leave me!" I sobbed.

Michiko held out her soul gem, her turquoise soul gem was shattering, Michiko was going to die.

"I don't have much longer, Chi-chan...promise me something..." Michiko said weakly. "Promise me...that you'll continue to fight...for everyone...for me...please just don't end your life..."

"I promise..." I sobbed.

Michiko smiled weakly. "Thank you...Chi-chan..."

"Mi-chan? Mi-chan!!!" I cried but I knew it was no use, Michiko is already dead.

I grabbed Michiko's scythe and ran towards the witch, I couldn't stop my tears from falling.

"THIS IS FOR MI-CHAN!!! I cried as I attacked the witch, not holding back for a second.

I finally hit the witch on it's weak spot and the witch turned into a grief seed. I collected it but I couldn't stop thinking about Michiko, she's my best friend and she sacrificed herself for me.

I dropped to my knees and cried.

"MI-CHAN!!!!!"

"Please don't do this Hisoka-kun, it's not worth it!" I cried.

I can't believe this is happening. Hisoka placed his shoes on the roof of the building. Hisoka doesn't have a witch's kiss on him so that means that he wants to end his life on his own free will.

"I'm sorry Chiyoko-chan, I didn't realize sooner all the pain I was putting you through." Hisoka held a gun near his head. "But don't worry, as soon as I finish this you'll be free of your curse."

Hisoka stood near the railing, I tried to get him away from it but I couldn't stop him.

Hisoka started to cry. "After all, I'm reason you went through all of this pain in the first place."

After that, he jumped.

"HISOKA-KUN!!!" I cried, trying to grab him, but it was too late.

The next thing I heard was a gunshot.

I fell to my knees and started to cry again. The last person that I cared about, the reason I became a magical girl, was now gone from this world.

"I could never understand you humans. I wonder what made him think that he can actually break the contract."

I know that voice, it belongs to someone I don't want to hear, Kyubey.

"Human emotions are pointless. His sacrifice was pointless too. I don't see any point in-"

I couldn't take it anymore, I didn't want to hear him talk anymore. I grabbed Kyubey by the collar.

"Shut up...JUST SHUT UP!!! You have no right to act so calm about things! Everyone died because of you, Mi-chan died because of you, Hisoka-kun died because of you!" I cried, not carring about the tears falling from my face.

I had officially snapped.

"I didn't kill them." Kyubey said calmly.

"You kept important secrets from us! You just said that if we made a contract with you we just had to become magical girls and fight witches, so our wish would be granted. You never said anything about our bodies becoming empty shells, or that we're trapped inside our soul gem, or that we could turn into witches! Y-You're horrible!" I cried.

I fell to my knees again, dropping Kyubey.

"I don't understand you, you're still alive but your still concerned about those who are dead." Kyubey said.

"Shut up! I hate you! Go away, I never want to see you again!" I cried, anger was all I could feel.

Kyubey left, leaving me all alone.

"Mi-chan, Hisoka-kun, everyone, I'm going to fight for you. I won't let your deaths be in vain. I'll get stronger...and take down Kyubey!"
