Our team of editors will work together to edit the first chapter of your Pokémon fanfiction. We will leave comments and suggestions regarding things like spelling, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, word choice, and more. You will be able to review the document in order to see your most common mistakes and decide whether you would like to accept our suggestions. You will also be able to reply to our comments if you have any questions about them or want a more complete explanation of why something is wrong.

At least two of our editors will be working together so that we can ensure the best possible quality of editing. We can't promise to be 100% perfect 100% of the time, but we will try our best to find and correct all of your errors and mistakes.

If your work is a one shot, we will edit the entire thing, however, we reserve the right to reject your one shot submission if it is deemed to be excessively long. Actual one shots are fine, but don't try to get around our rules by stuffing all of your writing into a single chapter just so that we'll edit the entire thing for you!

If you wish to submit your chapter or one shot, you will have to put it into the form of a Google Doc and share it with gottareademallclub at gmail.com. We will then begin editing your piece, and we will let you know when we have finished.

You must give the editors credit in your book. You can do this by putting their usernames in your description, in an introduction or afterword, or an author's note on the chapter in question. You can also dedicate a chapter to each of them, but no matter what you must mention that they edited the chapter/one shot for you.

By submitting your chapter or one shot, you must also agree to let us use a piece of your work as an example that we can post in one of our articles to help others avoid making the same mistake. We might quote a sentence or two in order to teach something about proper comma use, commonly misused words, or some other beneficial topic. We do this because sometimes the best way to explain common errors is to use a real example. We hope that you'll see the benefit of helping everyone who reads our book so that we can make the most of our editors' time and maybe even save them some in the long run.

If you've made corrections to your chapter/one shot after seeing our comments and suggestions, feel free to send us an email or a PM. If everything looks good, we'll add it to a special reading list on our profile. If you think that your book is already perfect, you can also ask to have the first chapter of your book (or whole one shot) looked over, and we'll add it to the reading list if you're right. Through this list, we hope to promote proper writing and help readers to find books of good quality.

The last thing we'd like to ask is that everyone be patient and understand that our editors have school and/or work and a variety of other commitments in addition to their work for us. We don't know how many requests we might get at any given time, so please keep in mind that our editors may be swamped. Besides giving us credit, this is a free service, and all we ask is that you be kind and understanding. We will get to your request as soon as we are able.
