Percy's Pov :

It's been two weeks since I left camp, and since then, I've faced down the Minotaur twice, a whole pack of Hellhounds, then yet another Minotaur. My clothes, by this point, are ripped to shreds. Cuts adorn my body like sprinkles on a cupcake, and I'm so tired I can't lift up my sword. I wish my friends never betrayed me. I miss them so much.

Strangely, I want to forget about them. Lose the gnawing pain in my stomach. But my fatal flaw of loyalty will not let me forget. I'm actually grateful for that right now because even though they betrayed me, I still love them all. I don't know why, but I'm fine with it.

After wandering the streets of Woods-burgh, New York, I collided with somebody head-on. I hurriedly apologized and started to walk off when the person spoke.

"Are you Perseus Jackson?" The tall Black haired man asked

"Who wants to know?" I glare at him

"I am Lord Chaos, Creator of the Universe. I need your help to start the Chaos army." He smirks crossing his buff arms over his chest

"Why aren't you one of the most powerful people in this world! Why do you need my help?" I ask surprised

"I am very powerful, but I can't fight an army by myself." Chaos raised his eyebrows his hazel eyes looking at me.

"Fine, I guess I'll help you. I just want to get away from this place." I cross my arms

"I saw the events and I am sorry. I know that you just lost your father, and well just about everyone that you cared about. But would your heart once I earn it trust me as a adoptive family member?"

"I think I could make room, you don't seem like some you to purposely hurt another. I will gladly help you, and look up to you. " I smile

"Fantastic. From this moment on Percy we are family, I will show you some cool things, and here is a little gift." Chaos smiles back at me. Chaos snaps his fingers and nothing happens. I look at him for a minute strangle hoping he will explain what he just did. "You'll find out it time." 

I just shrug my shoulder and get back on topic, "Huh, it feels good to have someone I can trust again. Now, what do I need to do for the army of Chaos?"

"We will talk about that later. For now, I want you to be accustomed to your new home."

With that, Chaos opened a portal and we walked through it. When I passed through, I couldn't believe my eyes.
