taehyung was a giggling mess, laying in the snow as jeongguk threw snowballs at him.

"stop!" he squeaked before pulling jeongguk down to the ground by his leg.

the other boy fell over next to him, breathing heavily from all the running around. he chuckled when he felt taehyung snuggle up next to him.

taehyung buried his face into jeongguk's neck affectionately.

he looked up into jeongguk's eyes and smiled.

the other boy smiled too as he stroked his thumb on the apple of taehyung's cheek that had been reddened by the icy weather.

taehyung rolled on top of him, straddling his lap.

"i love you." he whispered sweetly, kissing his nose.

"i love you more." jeongguk replied, his smile never leaving his face.

suddenly a snowball came hurtling towards them and hit taehyung right in the back of the head.

he made an expression of shock and turned his head to see namjoon making kissy faces at him.

taehyung scrambled to his feet, chasing namjoon across the icy field while his brother laughed maniacally.

jeongguk watched him with fond eyes until he saw seokjin running over from a distance with a huge ball of snow in his hand.

jeongguk got up instantly and ran away, picking up some snow along the way.

"come back here, you little shit!" seokjin yelled.

"you'll never take me alive!" jeongguk called back.

yoongi, hoseok and jimin were ice-skating on the frozen lake only a few metres away from the rest of the group.

well, jimin and yoongi were ice-skating while hoseok was screeching and falling over every five seconds.

after a while, positions had changed. seokjin and namjoon were drinking hot chocolate on a bench nearby while yoongi fondly watched hoseok and jimin making snow angels. meanwhile, jeongguk and taehyung were now skating on the ice.

despite how rough jeongguk was, he was surprisingly graceful.

taehyung looked beautiful as usual, gliding as if he were a trained figure skater.

jeongguk snuck up behind him and lifted him into the air.

taehyung squealed, "don't scare me like that!"

when jeongguk put him down and held him close by the waist he said, "you're so cute."

"i know." taehyung rolled his eyes.

this was jeongguk's favourite chrismas so far.
