She was an ocean

Seemed so fragrant and free

and though this was true to a degree

She was vast and set so many horrors in motion

The depths sang her song

and she indured

She'll survive, she was assured

Everything was still flowing along

Until it wasn't

The waterfall started to crash

The waves raged and smashed

She damned the sirens to the rocks

Buried herself behind a set of locks

her claws dug through the waves

and from then on she couldn't be saved

but the water still flowed

Even with all that she feared

She still endured.
