After telling him, I had contacted my sister and mother and told them I was completely done with Starfleet and I wanted to come home. I looked at James worried and wondering what could I do to stay. But we couldn't risk our three year old to be in danger.

James stared at me, he was wondering what he could do to be sure we stayed safe. Before I left, he had to talk to Scotty and see what he could do. He left my room quickly and I stood there thinking.

"What do I really do? I don't want to be there with my dumb family but I don't want to put my daughter in danger..." I muttered to myself as I sat down on my couch leaning against the arm with my own. "What would Pike say to me...?"

~* Edge of Glory ~*

After two days I was standing in the transporting room with a few bags. Sighing a little bit, I look back at Uhura and Chekov cause they looked really sad.

"Do you have to go?" questioned Chekov staring at me.

I nod curtly, "I really have no choice, James doesn't need me anymore here so I guess I'm going to my dad's for a little while. Chasity is already there so..."

After hearing a noise, I knew they were here. I hugged Uhura and Chekov and they left. James walked in and looked at me, I think he knew I wasn't ready. Sometimes, I really didn't get how he knew me so well, especially after that one night and having a baby. He grabbed my hand while handing me something. I blink a little bit.

"J-James..." I started but he stopped me.

"Its something Scotty and I made for you. It can go under your ear without being detected and I can track you without being noticed here, too."

I open my palm seeing the little spec, I smile a bit putting it behind my ear. I look at him. "And yes, it's waterproof." I chuckle and sigh kissing his cheek quickly. "You gonna be okay?"

"I hope so, James." I honestly told him. Feeling myself transferring to her sisters ship. "Remember our plan..."

James nodded as I completely disappeared. James took a deep breath and hoped I would be okay.

~* Edge of Glory *~

Sitting in the ship behind my sister, and I was shocked to see my brother there with her.

"I thought you were with dad." I began to him quietly. He shook his head. "Is he okay?"

Taking a deep breath, Tyler looked back at me. "Aria, he's dead."

Wait...

"What? What do you mean?"

"Six months after you left, he was hospitalized for a random heart attack. Then three months later he passed away, my only choice was going back with mom." Tyler sighs sadly. "I would've called you about it, but you couldn't receive calls after what happened with Starfleet."

I was in shock, he should've gotten a hold of me after it. But maybe he couldn't... Sighing quietly, I look out the window seeing that we were at warp.

~* Edge of Glory *~

A few days while being at warp, we finally made it Earth. I found they lived in a big home, not the one my father left in. I wondered what happened the Hale mansion...

After landing, Tyler picked up my bags and was walking towards the house. I stood there smelling the air, it smelled clean, I could feel the slight breeze against my skin. Pursing my lips, I walk towards the house and I heard a piercing scream.

My heart stopped and my stomach felt uneasy, I ran towards the scream and passed my two siblings. They look at me as I run towards the scream and when I slam my way into the house, I ran down the hall and saw Chasity bawling her eyes out.

"Chasity..." I murmur but she heard me and ran towards me quickly hugging me around the hips. I hugged her back tightly whispering to her. "I'm here baby, I'm here for good..." She continues crying and keeps hugging me.

"And here I thought I was spending time with my granddaughter. But the little brat just screamed her little head off no matter what I did..."

I glare at her and pick Chasity up and she immediately stops crying. "She missed her mama and daddy, Kris. What do you think was gonna happen when you take her without asking or telling?" I sneer at her. "She is ours, not yours." I continue to her, "the only people she knows is me, my captain, my crew, and my deceased adoptive father."

Kris scowls at me, stomping towards us. I move Chasity behind me still holding her. Kris glares down at me harshly and begins to growl at me.

"Listen to me and you listen good, little girl." Kris begins and I glare at her. "You're in my house now, and I expect you to listen too me, you can't contact your friends or your dead father to get out of here." I then sneer more her way, trying to keep Chasity behind me. "Your Captain cannot come save you this time. You're going too marry Chad this time and now, we're going to do this my way."

"Let me guess, we're going to rush it? Fat chance, cause I think Chad understands that I'm not interested in him." I respond to her making her growl at me.

"I knew you were a whore, is that even your captains child?" Kris asks me. "You probably had sex with all of the student body before you had sex with him."

I ignore her and walk off into the living room and take a breath. I couldn't handle her anymore, why was I here again? Oh yeah... I sigh and look at Chasity.

"You okay?"

Chasity nods and hugs me tight. From this point on, it was me and her from this point until the signal.
