I always pictured Nightshade having a dog, and he turned out to be German Shepherd simply for the reason that they're my favorite dog in the entire universe. So if you also pictured Nightshade having a dog for some reason too, and it's not a German Shepherd, I apologize for this.

And don't go off on me, some German Shepherds are black!
