Backstory: Ezra grew up an orphan with no knowledge of his parents were.  For all he knows, he could've been abandoned or sold off, or his parents could be dead.  When he was five, he met a girl named Rebecca and her cat, Happy, who became a robot.  From that point onward, the three became best friends.  When he reached ten, Ezra went and joined a mercenary group, led by a man called "Kuma", who taught him the ins and outs of being merc, as well as giving him a piece of wisdom that'll he'll remember: "Never give up without a fight".
