"Are they.....are they......"

"Ease your mind. They are not dead."

As Rebecca was standing back up, she heard what the Punishers said. The trio wasn't killed, but rather transported to the slum part of Sun Jewel.

"If they can mine 100,000 metals of our planet's ore, they can return to this region."

"We hope that you all continue to live in purity and righteousness. Madame Kurenai is the friend of righteousness."

As the two Punishers left, Rebecca clenched her fists tightly. This planet and its sense of righteousness was warped. However, there were more pressing matters that needed to be tend to.

"Shiki..Homura...Yuuki. I swear we'll come and rescue you!"

~Meanwhile~
A red sphere was seen appearing within the depths of a cave. The moment the sphere disappeared, three people fell upon the ground. As Yuuki got up, he noticed something off.

"Mura, Shiki. What do you have on your necks?"

"When was this put on me?"

"Yuuki, you've got a collar too! It says 100,000 as well."

Upon hearing Shiki's observation, Yuuki placed his right hand on his neck. Shiki was right, he too had a collar around his neck. Before he had time to think about it, Yuuki's ears twitched as he quickly turned around.

"Get ready. It seems we aren't alone in this cave!"

As Homura had her blade in hand, Yuuki was standing in front of the paralyzed Shiki. He didn't know that Shiki was THIS afraid of bugs. As he looked at Homura, he nods his head towards her. Soon Homura ran forward as she began to swing her blade. While this happened, Yuuki noticed something the moment Homura sliced one of the bugs into pieces.

"The number on her collar went from 100,000 to 99,999 the moment she killed that bug. I'm starting to see what's going on here. However, there's too many here to fight. I could try to kill them all, but doing that while protecting "Bug Boy" over here will make that difficult."

"Darn it, there are too man-"

"Mura, cover your ears!!!"

"Yuuki...all right."

"If we can't defeat all of them, we'll just drive them away. Sound Domination:Weak Point Voice!!!"

As Yuuki screamed out, he was constantly changing the frequency of his voice. Just as Homura was about to use her sword again, she noticed that the monsters were no longer attacking her and the boys. They were currently running away from them.

"What happened?"

"I was constantly changing the frequency of my voice until I found the one that agitated the monsters and caused them to flee. Now then, you three can come out."

"Damn. You're not too bad for a newbie. Anyways, let's head back into town."

~A few minutes later~

"Mura, remember what those Gaudy Guards (Punishers) said before we were sent here. They said we were sentenced to 100,000 metals. Not to mention that when you squashed one of those bugs, the number on your collar went down. Guess that means we're in labor."

"You're a lot smarter than you look, newbie. All the metal mined here automatically goes to Madame Kurenai. The number on your neck is the same amount of metal you have to send back."

"Who is this Kurenai person anyways?"

"She has the most authority on this planet. In order to get out of here, you've got to work for her until the number on your neck reaches 0."

"Hey. You haven't been mining as much lately. Do you want to stay here forever?"

"I'm sorry, I haven't been feeling wel-"

"No excuses!!!!"

As Yuuki looked in the direction of this voice, he saw a man holding a whip stomping on one of the labor district workers. Soon the workers that helped him and the group decided to give them info.

"He's the warden around here and works for Madame Kurenai. He's Benzaiten Garrot, Scourge of Heaven."

As Yuuki learned this, he saw Homura and Shiki walk up to Garrot. The man he was beating was already unconscious. However, the moment Shiki put his hand on Garrot's shoulder to stop him, Yuuki heard several of the labor district citizens protesting.

"Stop! You shouldn't go against Madame Kurenai's workers."

"One person's rebellion will affect all of us!!!"

"Calm it down you two!"

"Dammit. Mura, Shiki! Just back aw-"

When Yuuki said this, he heard something descending from up above. Before he knew it, multiple Punishers were surrounding the area. Meanwhile, Garrot smiled as he looked at Shiki and Homura.

"I see, you're new here. It makes sense why you don't know the rules here. I'll have to teach you. First, kneel down!!!!"

As Garrot said this, he suddenly struck Homura and Shiki's legs with his whip. Before they knew it, the two of them were suddenly on their knees.  They could barely move their legs.

"My legs...they're so numb."

"You scum!"

"My whip is laced with a paralyzing component. Looking at you, you're quite the cute girl."

As Garrot smirked, he began to strike down Homura with his whip. Her clothes getting torn apart as she felt the whip crack down on her body. Before another hit could land on her, Homura saw Shiki in front of her as he was hit on top of his head.

"I can hear everything you say."

"Confound it. I spoke my mind."

As Homura was being dragged off, the Punishers began to leave the area. The moment this happened, Shiki clenched his fists as he looked towards Yuuki.

"Yuuki. Why didn't you do anything?!"

"If I did something while those Punishers were surrounding us, it's likely only I would survive. This was the safer option. Besides.....i'm just as livid as you are."

~Meanwhile~

As Rui and Kurenai were sitting down, Kurenai's other assistant (Ward) brought forth another candidate to be Kurenai's attendant. As she looked at Kurenai's face, Rui quickly looked at the wall as she knew what the women was going to say to Cedric.

"Could you please remove your clothes and show me that beautiful body of yours?"

"......yes ma'am."

"How can Madame Kurenai ask something so indecent so casually. I can't even look at the guy much less ask that! I'll never be married if I do something like that."

As Rui said this in her mind, Cedric did as Kurenai said and stripped down in front of her. Soon Kurenai ordered him to come closer to her.

"Madame Kurenai, you're so very beautiful. Such power and unlimited wealth to rule over just one planet. If I could become your attendant, I would do anything."

"Anything?"

"Yes, even warming you on a lonely night."

As Cedric said this, he placed a hand upon the right side of Kurenai's face. Seeing this, Rui shook her head in disapproval as she already knew what's going to happen. Soon Ward began to read off more info for Kurenai.

"What do you think, Madame Kurenai? He is a model and has the qualities of even a butler and-"

"He's disqualified."

"Huh?"

"You touched me without permission, you inferior man. Do you believe me to be someone who actually loves you? Rui."

"Yes ma'am."

The moment Kurenai called out to her, Rui looked at the shadows that were cast upon the floor. Suddenly black chains formed from within the shadows as they restrained Cedric's arms as Kurenai puts her right hand on the man's face.

"I apologize profusely for that. Please, spare my face! If my face is destroyed, my entire career will-"

"You only fear what happens to your face? That's why i'm going to burn it scarlet!!!"

Cedric screamed in agony as Kurenai was burning his face. Meanwhile, Rui was covering her ears as much as possible as she didn't want to hear the man's screaming. Soon Cedric passed out and was lying on the floor as his face was burned scarlet.

"Next."

"That man was the last recommendation."

"Bring in more of those gentlemen next time. By the way Ward, Rui. Have you two ever heard of Eden's Zero?"

Upon hearing this question, the assistant and Code Breaker both shook their heads. However, while Rui didn't know what the Edens Zero was, she had a clue on what the other object of interest was.

"Madame, what is so special about the Edens Zero?"

"It's special because Drakken Joe wants it. It is a ship that harnesses an Ether Drive."

"An Ether Drive?! Something like that could power this planet for a decade! Is that why Drakken Joe wants to use your Oculus Kurenai to find it?"

"Correct, Rui. Though he says my cut is only 30%. But I don't like that idea, so I intend to outsmart him. I'm only interested in 100%."

As Ward and Rui nod their heads, Rui was thinking about the second object of interest. A boy with a barcode on his chest. She knew it had to be a fellow Code Breaker. However, she prayed that Drakken Joe isn't going after the same person she's thinking of. Seeing that Rui was more silent than usual, Kurenai spoke up.

"Rui. Drakken Joe mentioned something else. A boy with a barcode on his chest. The only people who would match that description is a Code Breaker, correct?"

"Y-yes ma'am."

"Well then, does anyone come to mind?"

Rui was not one to feel fear often. She endured the hell of the Lost Incident. She's had her fair share of battles. However, that one question Kurenai gave her sent chills down her spine. Should she tell her out of obligation or should she keep quiet due to her personal reasons. Just as she was about to open her mouth, a familiar voice answered Kurenai's question.

"That would be Code Breaker #3, Yuuki Eden, that you're referring to. Isn't that right, Rui?"

"No....why...why are you here?!"

For the first time, Kurenai heard Rui's voice filled with fear. Soon Kurenai looked towards the source of that voice. Standing before her was a single man smiling without a care in the world as Ward was seen lying on the ground as sparks of electricity was seen on his body.

"Rui! Who is this man?!"

"No....why....why are you of all people here?!"

"Oh? It seems you still have a grudge against me, Code Breaker #5. But i'll introduce myself. I'm one of the researchers from the Lost Incident. Code Breaker #2, Hitomi. I've come to give you a bargain, Madame Kurenai. I will gladly tell you about Code Breaker #3, but I only want one thing in return. I want to conduct one final experiment on him. After that he's as good as yours. So then....what shall it be?"

Kurenai couldn't believe what was going on. Rui told her a bit about Code Breakers. She said that while all the Code Breakers were stronger than your average Ether Gear user, the top 3 Code Breakers might as well be considered as monsters rather than humans. With a smile on her face, Kurenai spoke.

"Fine then, you have a deal."

"If there really are Code Breakers stronger than Rui. I'll snatch them up before Drakken Joe can even locate them."

"Thank you, Madame Kurenai. Bye then, Rui. I hope you don't tremble in fear. After all....the monsters of sound and flames are also on this planet."

~Meanwhile~
"What a nice view."

Garrot was smirking as he saw Homura with her wrists tied up with rope attached to a pipe, causing her to be hanging in the air. As Homura moved her hands, she noticed something off.

"Why?! Why can't I use my Ether Gear?"

"Ether Gear is a technique where you rearrange the Ether in your body. Since your hands are tied up, you aren't able to do that. Well then, I think it's time to have some fun."

Garrot's whip smacks the ground as it bounced back into his hand. Just as he was about to use it on Homura's body, the door of the abandoned warehouse he was in suddenly flew at him. When he looked at the entrance, he saw two people standing before him as Homura smiled.

"Shiki! Yuuki!!!!"

"Tch. Weren't you listening to me earlier? If you go against me here, the rest of the people in the slums-"

"Like hell I care. Rescuing my friend comes first. I'm not here for justice."

"Shiki's right. However.....I have a question, Garrot. Why should I listen to someone weaker than me?"
