Royalty (TamTilda)
Matilda rushed down the steps, her shoes making clicking noises the whole why down. Her long satin dress was pulled up so she wouldn't trip. Never above the knees the young maiden thought, keeping her dress at a good length.
"MATILDA!" her mother shrieked again, "WHAT IS THIS?!" Matilda scrambled down even faster, almost tripping until she reached the bottom where the queen stood.
"Yes mother I-"
"Why are there 'x's on all of them?!" Matilda sighed. She didn't love any of those men. They didn't even look pretty.
"Well sweetie come, we need to find you a servant before you can be queen." The young woman nodded once and followed her mother. A fake smile swept upon Matilda's face as she entered the doorway. Her beautiful silky hair was taken out of a bun and just lay on her shoulders, a bit messy. In the crowd of peasants a girl helping an elderly man caught her eye.
"Tamara, stop being such an bitch and actually work for once," the man grumbled as the girl said nothing but let the man do his own thing. Matilda's smile fell at the cruelty and glanced at her mother. The old female bit her lip with a smile.
"I want," Matilda looked at the chart, "number 1056."
"You heard! Grab her!" Matilda's mother shouted at the guards, one taking the girl and the others emptying the rest. Tamara was shoved toward the princess. The peasant shivered in fear and didn't make eye contact. Suddenly the king burst into the room.
"Did Matilda find a prince?" he questioned his wife.
"N-" Matilda's mother was cut off by a yelp from the peasant. Matilda was kissing her servant.
As she pulled away from the soft lips she spoke, "Yes I have." Everyone, even Tamara, stared in shock.
