the blood, my hands press over the bullet wound near your stomach to stem the flow of blood. you groaned in pain, your face was a few shades paler than usual.

the burning house, there were people in there who needed saving, but so did you. who should i choose? my eyes stung with unshed tears as you gave me a reassuring smile through the pain, "go", you tell me, "i will take care of this." you whisper quietly while struggling to sit upright.

blood, there's more blood, bullets, burning houses, chaos. your back rested against the wall of an underground bunker as you give me a meaningful look.

"seriously taehyung, go. i'll be fine." you whisper while your bloodied arms press over your bullet wound, you were losing blood fast and i couldn't do anything.

"i'm not going anywhere!" i shout, pressing my arms over yours on the bullet wound, desperately waiting for help to arrive. you laugh quietly, your voice missing it's usual humour.

"there's no point trying to save me anymore, i've already lost too much blood." you say, but i shake my head violently completely dismissing the thought.

"you will live, please. say you'll live." my voice takes on a pleading tone, the tears falling freely from my eyes and racking my entire body with sobs. how will i live knowing that i let you die?

your eyes soften slightly, your cold hand reaches out to touch my cheek in reassurance, a small smile playing on your lips.

you said nothing.

time passes by real slow, and i could see your eyes beginning to close but you tried to keep them open for me. you held onto the last threads of life that you still had within you for me.

your rapid breathing was beginning to slow down and no amount of pleading and begging would bring you back.

your head lays on my lap as you bled to death right there, help never came.

i couldn't save you.
