CHAPTER 32

WARNING!: I have writers block so this may suck! this chapter also involves homophobia, and maybe the use of some fowl language! So be warned!

The two emeditately pulled away from each other, both had blushes on their faces.

" ahem" she cleared her throat " Mr.Vincent" the nurse started, pretending that she didn't just see what happened there.

"You have a visitor"

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ at the hospital ~

After the nurse had said that, Edd and Eddy both looked at each other, puzzled on who it would be at this hour of the day.

Just then, the nurse stepped out of the doorway to allow the person who was standing behind her to come in. 

Double D's eyes widened in disbelief.

" F-Father?!"

Eddy had the same shocked expression on his face. He didn't really expect the guy to show up.
He repeatedly looked back and forth between the man, and his boyfriend.

The man was very tall, he wore a black business suit and tie. His hair was black with some silver streaks and slicked back. His facial hair was cleanly groomed, with a some what thick moustache. He had these stoney grey eyes and an icy glare that pierced through your soul. Eddy shivered and started to break out in a cold sweat for a reason unknown to him. It was like the sight of him alone could make someone's hair go white. He could clearly see now why Edd was so scared of disobeying his parents. His eyes were fixed in his son laying there in the hospital bed.

" I'll leave you three alone now, if you need anything then just press the nurse call button, 'Kay?"

Edd simply nodded, unable to say anything at the moment.

" S-s-salutations, Father.. How was y-your flight"

" What did I say about stuttering?" He spat in a sharp tone.

Edd winced, and sunk down into his bed.

Eddy held Edd's hand under the blanket for support. He could see how scared he was.

As soon as he felt him grab his hand, Edd felt himself slowly calm down.

He looked over at Eddy who gave him a nervous smile.

Edd's father noticed the way they were looking at eachother and opened his mouth to speak again.

" Eddward" he said in his expressionless tone.

The two slowly looked away from eachother and returned their focus back on the suited business man who stood before him.

" yes father?"

" ..who is your friend here?"

"O-OH! This is Eddy.." He said back a little too loud.

" I see."

" it's a pleasure to meet you sir." Eddy said extending his hand forward to shake the mans hand.

The man did not shake the hand, he simply looked down at it not amused.

"I'm sure it is, I'm assuming you have heard of my company?"

Eddy nodded even though he had no clue what he was talking about.

" anyways I am glad to inform you Eddward that we have succeeded with our investment." (a/n Idfk, I don't know anything about business. I'm screwed when I graduate high school.)

" that is great news, I am proud of you father"

There was a long awkward silence.

" so father, where is mother?"

" she should be arriving any day now."

Edd simply nodded.

The awkward silence continued. With the man practically glaring at the two boys, and Edd looking as though he wanted to disappear into thin air, it was almost as though you could cut the tension in the room with a butter knife.

The silence continued for over fifteen minutes, just then, Lori came barging in through the door.

" Hey guys, I'm sorry I just forgot my purse!" She walked in and picked up her purple, beaded, hand purse.

" oh who's this" she said gesturing to the scary business man.

" Lori, this is my father." He said trying his best not to pass out.

" oh! Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, Mr.Vincent. I'm Lorianne Borelli ." She said waving her hand.

She walked over to the two boys.

" well, since I'm already here, I want to ask, how is my favourite COUPLE doing?!" She said wrapping her arms around the two, bringing them closer.

Edd's eyes widened and he shot Lori a warning look to shut the f*ck up!

Edd's father gaze darted toward his son. He had a shocked look on his face.

Edd sunk down under his covers and his heart monitors beeping started to pick up a little bit. Now he was sure he was going to pass out.

Eddy's face paled as he now understood the situation. Edd's old man didn't know that he was gay, did he?

Lori soon figured out was was going on too, so she quickly slipped out of the room and made a run for it. She would apologize through text later.

" Eddward!" She said sharply." What is she talking about?!"

" F-father I can explai....."

" WHAT DOES SHE MEAN BY COUPLE?!?!"

" father.." Eddy looked at Edd, he held his hand a little tighter to reassure him that he was with him no matter what.

"..me and Eddy are in a relationship" he said trying his very best to sound confident, obviously not succeeding.

The Middle Aged mans face twisted into a look of infuriation and disgust.

He looked at the two boys like they were the most revolting lowlives he has ever had the displeasure of coming across. Like they were an abomination.

" Eddward Marion Vincent, I forbid you from continuing your 'relationship' with this young man! You are to never see him, nor speak to him again, you hear me!"

" FATHER!?" Edd raised his voice.

* beep...beep...beep...beep*

His heart monitor started beeping faster, the two other men did not seam to notice though.

Eddy held Eddwards hand even tighter than before, for the idea of never being able to see the love of his life again terrified him.

" ENOUGH! Do not talk back to me young man! You are to do as I say! Never, EVER, question my authority!"

" But..!" He tried to protest

"WHAT did I just tell you?!" He yelled back. " you are too put an END to this relationship immediately, and never engage in other intimate relations with another man! It is SICK, and dis-"

" ...No" the young teen said interrupting his fathers angry rants.

Both Eddy and Mr.Vincents gaze shot towards Edd.

" what did you just say young man?" He said in a low and sharp tone.

Edd took a deep breathe.

" I-I said No"

" NO?!" Said his father " you do not tell your father ' No'."

" Father, I am tired of you always doing this to me.."

Eddy looked towards Edd, nodding for him to continue.

" Do. Not. Talk. Back. To. Your Father. Either you do as I command you or-"

" haven't you ever stopped a thought about what I wanted, or what is truley best for me?" He said starting to tear up.

* beep beep beep beep beep beep*

his heart monitor was starting to beep even faster than before.

" you are MY son, I know what is best for you, that is why I am telling you-"

" -But father, I love him," he said looking towards Eddy who smiled back at him " and this is me, you can not just show up and tell me that I must change."

" Eddward Vincent I am your father, you must do as I -" he said not changing his attitude from before.

" - don't you care for me at all?" By this time his head machine was beeping out of control and he looked as though he was having problems breathing.

" Eddward I - "

" I mean, you have never truley been there for me, or told me that you care for me. *wheeze*. You left me all alone for months when I was only at the age of five years old, and now you are telling me that must change who I am because you do not like who I chose to be with...!"

Eddy noticed that his heart monitor was beeping to fast for comfort.

* beepbeepbeepbeepbeep*

" Edd" he said trying to calm his lover down.

"Stop all this nosense at once!" He started stepping away from the bed. "you are a disgrace! If you do not stop this, this instant then you are no longer my son."

* BEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP*

Edd's heart machine started beeping even louder than before.

Edd started coughing and wheezing, and holding his chest. He looked like he was feeling a mix of pain and light headedness.

His father took notice to this and to feel mild concern.

" EDD!" He said holding onto his boyfriend. "oh my god! Babe! Are you ok!? What's going on!?" He started panicking on the inside.

Edd could barely breathe, his chest felt tight, and his head started to hurt again. He himself did not know what was going on.

Eddy frantically pressed the nurse call button

Two nurses came hurrying in to tend to their patient.

Both Eddy and Mr.Vincent were asked to leave the room immediately.

~ time skip ~

They were finally able to get Edd to calm down and to get his heart beating at a normal pace. The medicine they gave him to calm him down made him drowsy, so he was relaxing in his hospital bed whiles Eddy rubbed Edds head to keep him at ease.

Eddwards father was asked to leave, it was requested by Eddy to not have him visit for a while to prevent Edd from feeling anymore distress.

He hoped that Eddwards mother was more open minded than his father, he didn't want his precious little angel baby to have deal with anymore of what just went down today.

" ...Eddy.."

Eddy looked down at his beautiful boyfriend.

" Yes baby?"

" ..thank you."

" for what sweetie?"

" for being there for me."

Eddy kissed him gently on his small but plump lips.

" I already told you, I'll always be there for you."

Edd's eyelids started to flutter as he struggled to keep them open. He lent down and kissed him on the forehead and told him to get some rest.

Edd slowly dozed off into an untroubled sleep.
