CHAPTER 8

It was the next day, they had talked for a little while but then Eddy left. He felt like the conversation wasn't going anywhere. He said what he had wanted to say, that he was sorry, and that was enough.
But he had a couple things on his mind, like, ' did Edd REALLY not know what I was talking about?'
' What did he do after he left for his punch?' ' Did something happen?' And 'What is he not telling me?'

He decided that he would ask him about it when they got to school. Since it was Monday after all. Spectacular.
He was on his way to go pick up Ed and Edd so they can walk to school together. Like they always did since they were kids. Eddy always went to go get Ed and then the two of them went to go pick up Double D.
Some times Eddy wished he could go straight to Double D's house , and let Ed walk himself to school for once→_→. He didn't know when he started preferring Edd over Lumpy.
He rang Eds door bell.

Sarah answered.
" Is Ed home.." He asked but he already knew the answer.

" Yes, He's in his room . I'll go get him"
Eddy seamed to kind of relax when she said the words ' I'll go get him ' until...

" ED! YOUR FRIEND CAME! GET YOUR BUTT OOVEERR HEERRREE!!"

Eddy checked his ears for blood, nope all good. Her screams seemed to be getting louder with age.
He heard the sound of tumbling and crashing. Within a couple seconds Ed was standing in front of Eddy.
" Hi Eddy, "
" Hi lumpy" Eddy said seaming to not be so pleased with Eds presents.
Ed grabbed Eddy's hand and started to drag him to Edd's house.

" Come on Eddy, we need to hurry! We can't let the aliens get Double D first!"
Within minutes they were standing at Edd's front door. Mostly due to the fact that Ed had practically been running.
Ed knocked on Edd's door like he was trying to break it down.
Edd opened to door with a smile on his face, as usual.
" Hello dear frien..."
Then ed interrupted him with quick and powerful hug. He hugged him so tight that he lifted him off the ground.

"Double D! I was so worried that the aliens got you"!

"No Ed, I am fine, you can put me down now.."

" let go lumpy , your suffocating him!"
" Sorry Eddy"
" apologize to sockhead not me"
" its alright Eddy"
" Sorry double d" he apologized anyways.
" Its aright ed, thank you"

Eddy was now getting annoyed,
" OK ladies, can we go now"
Ed nodded his head, and Edd blushed. Possibly because of the fact that eddy referred to him as a ' lady'. Which Eddy found very cute, but he wasn't gonna let Edd know that.

They started heading for school.
'Today was gonna be just great' 😒

( time skip)

They had finally reached to school, the three boys all said there good byes and parted for the day.

Edd headed towards his locker to gather his books for his first period class, which was math. He was in the advanced academic courses. He was just about to open his locker when he heard a loud bang!

Edd's p.o.v

( BOOM!! Bet you didn't see that coming! AND.. Its in first person. It may be bad since I never really write story's in first person. Unless is about MY opinion. Like in my shipping books.. Now where was I?)

I was just about to gather my things for mathematics. When I heard a loud noise come from next to me. I was a fist that hit the locker by me. I slowly turned my head around still shaking from how much the loud sound scared me half to death!
I looked at the boy standing in front of me. He was breathing heavily and looked very angry with me.

" H- hello, may I assist y- you"?
I said shakingly
" Hey, guys!" He yelled to a couple guys behind him. They all looked like people who were on Kevin's foot ball team. Kevin. * sigh*. I felt my face heat up when I pictured him in my mind. But now was hardly the time for such thoughts! I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard the sound of him crack his knuckles.

" Hey fag! Its been a while since we gave you a good beating"

OK, I know where this is going. But I, am a pacifist, I will not associate myself with such behavior. Even though I shall pay the price for it later. So I must mentality prepare myself for what's going to happen next.

" don't you think so guys"? He laughed hollowly. The other guys fallowed along and slowly moved forward looking as though they were preparing themselves to strike.

" UH!" He said loudly stopping them in there tracks.
" ..first hit's mine"
The other guys snickered to his comment.
He grabbed the collar of my shirt. I clossed my eyes tightly, still shaking from fear. * smack* I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my head. I felt a burning sensation on my right cheek. He slapped me. I definitely left a mark. He then pushed me to the ground and pined me down.
* pow* ( stupid sound affects, its supposed to be a sound of some getting his real hard, so sorry)

He hit me in the head, I felt something run down my face. It was red. Now I was real worried for my well being. Searing pain soon fallowed afterwards. All I heard was the sound of there laughter. It sounded cold, and heartless. I tried my best to open my eyes, but my vision was getting blurry. And my head started feeling as though it was spinning. I saw him raise a fist, I waited for the pain to hit. What I noticed from being beaten as often as I do. Was that these punches were the hardest. The ones that usually cause you to black out. I waited, and waited , but the pain never came. I opened my eyes wider and noticed that Kevin was holding his fist back.
" leave him the f*uck alone Jake"!!
Kevin said with a glare in his eyes, he did NOT look pleased. Kevin came to rescue me~. Wait, what!? Maybe I was hit in the head harder than I had thought!
" Well, well. Kevin. You came to help your little boyfriend ? How sweet. You guys are both fags!"

He let go of the collar on my shirt and slowly rose and looked Kevin dead in the eyes.
" ...And you know what we do to fags around here.."
He then lunged himself towards Kevin. But then Kevin through a punch and hit Jake's his jaw. The two kept on throwing punches and then started a fight! I hope Kevin's alright.
I mean.. Umm.. I wouldn't want his injuries to be too severe. Both guys fought for a while. Jake, I think Kevin mentioned that that was his name. He had a gash on his right cheek, a black eye, dark bruises and blood dripping out of his mouth. I looked over to Kevin. His injuries did not look nearly as bad as Jakes. He had a couple bruises scattered across his face, and a busted lip. Kevin through one last punch and the guys seamed to surrender and scatter.

He then walked towards me and held his hand out towards me, to help me up.
" Need a hand dork"
I felt my cheeks heat up, I felt like I was frozen, I was just staring at him.
He has a beautiful smile. What? I hesitantly reached for his hand. He swiftly pulled up. He was very strong indeed.
" Thanks for helping me back there Kevin". I felt I smile spread across my face.
" No problem dork."
I suddenly felt I sharp pain in my head.
" You OK dorko"? He said with a look concern.
" Yes, I'm fine"
" You don't look so good, let's get you cleaned up."
He looked at me the same way he did at the party. Yes, I remembered every thing. And yes. I lied to Eddy about not knowing what he was talking about. I just didn't want to bring up the fact that I had left Eddy at the party. And had forgotten completely about him. Maybe I'm the one who should have apologized. I will later. Now, is about me. With Kevin of course. OK, maybe I do like him. Oh no! What would Eddy think? He strongly dislikes Kevin. Hate, if I must. What would Kevin think. Judging by the events that took place at the party, maybe he harvests feeling for me as well. We'll see, based on what happens next! We walked towards the rest room to get ourselves cleaned up.

" Hey Eddy,"
" yes, Kevin?" Wait, he actually called me by my first name! That's a first.
" Nothing, you just seamed spaced out," he placed his hand on my shoulder. "Are you alright?"

" Yes, Kevin. I'm fine".
Maybe he does like me. Maybe.

Well guys, sorry that it was so long. And yes, this IS going to be about the ship Eddy x Edd. Its going to happen, eventually. But you can't rush feelings. Not in real life. And not in stories. This is fanfic, not a Disney princess movies from the 19 somethin's. So keep it together. But the story would move a lot faster if YOU GUYS left your ideas in the comments, so that's on you! And on my hw and bad WiFi.
